We had a great stay. The large cottage was clean, comfortable with all mod cons and lovely interior decor. The bedrooms with ensuites good size and gave the five of us a sense of space. Walk out the door and literally in the middle of Holt so lots to do and everything walking distance. The only cons ; there is no parking on site (although a public car park couple of mins walk away). The stairs to bedrooms were steep and narrow. Otherwise we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend.

The Old Paul Pry is a handsome old quirky house in the centre of Holt. There were four lovely bedrooms with comfy beds over three storeys, although care needed to be taken on the stairs which were very steep and shallow. We had a lovely stay and the location for us was perfect.

Lovely house. Really old world feel to the place but very welcoming. Brilliant location for Holt village centre. Great chip shop 10m away. Shame that the only local parking was £45 for the week or £8.70 per day. Not far to the coast . Really surprised by how quiet Holt was after 5pm every day.

My partner and his family have had a tough time recently and needed some quality time away for much needed R & R. We seen The Old Paul Pry on Airbnb and it looked perfect for what they needed. It was a great base for everything, the train station, cafes, pubs and shops and they all came back well and truly relaxed, with new fun memories. Would definitely be back.

After our firsts nights stay we let the host know about the very uncomfortable mattress in the master bedroom. The springs were clearly sticking out even to touch by hand and our first nights stay wasn’t great. After contacting the host they said that they would let the house keeping team know and would be in touch with an update. 2 days later and we had no update. No new mattress, mattress topper or even a duvet which I requested. The hosts were very unhelpful and almost gave an AI response. The showers had mould to the bottom by the trays. It is such a shame because the property is absolutely beautiful and its location ideal. I will think again when booking with a host that has this amount of properties.

Lovely good size house for four adults and three children. Good size bedrooms and bathrooms. Small kitchen but adequate, separate dining room, and nice size lounge to sit in, in the evenings. Situated in the town centre, access easy to shops and restaurants/pubs. No parking on site, but public car park literally around corner and reasonably priced. Would stay again.

A beautiful home with a great location, it had everything we needed. The rooms were all decorated so lovely. It was cosy and clean and all added to make a great weekend. Lots of things to do, great shop, pubs, restaurants and bus stops a minute away if needed.

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely quaint and quirky cottage. We were a family of six adults and a baby and all worked out fine. We were welcomed with some real tea from the shop opposite which was a nice touch. The Town of Holt is great place to explore with lots of interesting shops and eateries to hand.

Another terrific stay at Paul Pry. We love the charming decor. The 3 story home is minutes away from shops, pubs and restaurants. It’s a terrific place to relax but feel right in the middle of it all. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The beds are comfortable — and plentiful! We look forward to returning

This is a lovely place to stay in a fantastic location where you can enjoy all the interesting shops, cafes etc that Holt has to offer. The house is beautifully furnished, particularly the bedrooms. The only downside was the kitchen which was a bit small and cramped for a larger group like ourselves.

Brilliantly located in the heart of Holt, this quirky townhouse didn’t disappoint. A stone’s throw from the shops, pubs and cafes, and just a short drive from the coast, it was a great base for our girls weekend away. The bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds, and enough bathrooms for the 6 of us. We loved the decor and spent as much time chilling in the house as we did exploring Holt. Some reviews have mentioned slow internet speed but this wasn’t an issue for us at all. We did have an initial issue connecting but a quick phone call to Norfolk Holiday Properties (thank you!) and quickly sorted. For us, it represented great value for money.

Great break in Holt in this beautiful house. We had quick responses to any queries. The accommodation is central to the town and the perfect base for North Norfolk and included all the facilities you could need and more! Look forward to visiting again!

This property is a very special place. Each room is themed and decorated accordingly, in beautiful colours, pattern and textiles. The walls are perfectly wonky and full of character,- you can feel the history immediately! Gorgeous features,- fireplace, cupboards etc. The facilities all worked well (bathroom, hot water, dishwasher, tv). The internet was a little slower at times, but not an issue for us. The key code storage box was a real help as there were 6 of us returning to the house at random times, so we stored it there for the first person, returning. The dining room was the perfect size and meant we had a lovely, separate room for meals. There was a small starter pack of items, but the local convenience shop is so close and the larger Budgens store is also very close by. Excellent stay.

What a magical property! Decorated with style and humor, this enchanting home is in the middle of pedestrian-friendly Holt. Surrounded by cafes, pubs and shops selling everything from handmade soaps to vintage hats and locally sourced produce, Old Paul Pry is the perfect holiday home base. Incredible value for families w it’s four bedrooms and a large family dining room. We enjoyed the humorous touches — a giraffe lamp in the sitting room is a must experience. Highly recommend

I hope our experience was the exception to the rule as we were not impressed on arrival. Things that if properly checked by the hosts would have made our stay much more pleasant: 1) bathroom dirty with rubbish of previous guests left in bin. No bin liners in kitchen bin or elsewhere 2) despite proactively telling us there would be an essential welcome pack with washing up liquid, sponge, tea towels, dishwasher tablets etc there was none - shops around had closed when we arrived due to bank holiday. 3) despite me asking about the internet, the internet was down throughout our stay - couldn’t connect to the internet on our phones either as poor mobile internet coverage in the area. We were later told it must have been an issue with Sky but had to be resolved the following week. 4) despite asking in advance if there were any peculiarities with hot water/heating I was told everything will be turned on. We arrived to find the boiler switched off/no HW We accepted a one night’s refund.

We had a lovely short stay at the Paul Pry, the house lived up to expectations: quirky, old features but good heating, bathrooms. The Wi-Fi wasn’t great though which our teenage kids found a bit frustrating. Being right in the middle of town was really good and the evenings were peaceful

Excellent few days at the cottage, clean, quirky, great location, good advise re the staircases, just a couple of minor things:- no info regarding removal of rubbish and no washing up liquid provided despite saying there would be. Light bulbs need replacing in many areas. Would recommend the cottage

What an amazing house to stay in, right in the centre of Holt. Bedrooms were a generous size, with en-suites in the doubles and a shared bathroom on the top floor. The kitchen is small but fully equipped and it was great to have a huge dining room table that all 8 of us could fit around. Plenty of places to eat in Holt- definitely try Byfords and some of the independent coffee shops. Great beaches and Holkham and Pensthorpe worth a visit. Definitely recommend this holiday home for families.

This is a fantastic property in a great location and would book again. Although there’s no parking on premises, parking is easy to find, close to property and easy to manage. All the places i have stayed in Norfolk this is the one I would come back to again.

A really lovely 4 bedroom house right in the centre of Holt. Huge amounts of character and once the heating gets going it is very warm and cosy - even with the recent cold snap. Very steep stairs (could be an issue for older guests) to 4 great sized bedrooms, two en-suite doubles on the first floor and two twin rooms with a shared shower/toilet on the second floor. No parking but there is a public car park just behind the property. Other reviews have said it - Holt is very quiet and once the village shuts for the day there is very little noise from the road - and the house opens directly onto it so this is a very good thing! The centre of Holt is quaint and pretty with a number of independent shops. We had terrific meals at The Kings Head in Letheringsett, The Three Horseshoes in Briston plus breakfast locally at Byfords. The house is superb, high quality and a great place to explore north Norfolk.

We had a lovely stay in The Old Paul Pry. It is really cosy and homely, but also very clean. The upstairs twin rooms are beautifully done. The location is amazing, so central in Holt amongst all the shops and restaurants. This reduces privacy, but our children enjoyed watching the people go by and it was very quiet in evenings/at night. Think the downstairs would be a little too snug for 7-8 people. Overall a lovely holiday cottage.

The Old Paul Pry is a lovely, clean, characterful cottage. The location was perfect. Right in the centre of Holt. Car park very near. We were not disturbed by any noise. The stairs are very steep, but a rope and bannister assist! Great value for money.

A delightful period property right in the heart of Holt. Four comfortable bedrooms and good bathrooms. Just be aware that if any of your party are not particularly mobile they will struggle with the old winding staircase. It is an old property and you have to remember that. It is beautifully decorated and a stones throw from Byfords which is a lovely place for breakfast or evening dinner. All in all we really enjoyed our stay at the cottage.

Lovely quirky cottage in the centre of Holt. The cottage was well equipped and very clean and tidy. Checkin and out was hassle free. Located in a great location to explore North Norfolk. Parking around the corner was no hassle. Plenty of room to eat and relax.

Situated right in the heart of Holt with various shops and great cafes only a few paces away! An interesting old property with good sized living areas (not sure they’d work for eight guests!) and well appointed bedrooms. The traditional Norfolk Winder stairs are steep but not difficult, though elderly or inform guests might struggle. The adjoining Folly Tea Room is superb and well worth a visit.

What a lovely spot to stay in in Norfolk. The house is in a great location just roll out of the front door and you're in the heart of Holt. The house is very well furnished and was very clean. The only thing to watch out for is as it's a beautiful old period property it has very steep stairs which was fine for us but might not be suitable for older people. Also the upstairs space is great but we found the living room and kitchen areas a bit cosy with 8 of us staying. Thanks for a lovely stay!
