The property was so lovely, in beautiful surroundings and the owner was so helpful and generous. We may well revisit! Host & Stay customer service was not so good. We found red ants in the main bathroom which we notified to Host & Stay immediately. Sadly it took a few days for the issue to be resolved. The owner was unable to do much to help but offered us advice in dealing with Host & Stay who take care of things on their behalf.

It's a lovely location but generally needs some tlc. The whole place clearly hadn't been hoovered. There were bits on the floor throughout the property. Also, lots of dead insects in corners. We live in the country and i know it can be a nightmare keeping on top of bugs, but these had been there a while. The waste paper basket in lounge had, what looked like, a cotton wool ball with nail varnish on it and an old receipt. The mirror in lounge had some gunk on it, which at first i thought was a pattern, but it wiped off. Cupboards in kitchen looked like they could benefit from wipe down. There was also a stain on the bed sheet in double bed which wasn't very nice. I have these issues with host and stay but awaiting a response. I should have taken photos but just didn't think of it at the time. Whilst the location is lovely and very peaceful it just felt it needed more care and attention.

Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be given. If only 50% of the reservation has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
- If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
