Second visit to this beach chalet, love this place. My boys love the beach and sea which is within walking distance and very quiet. Not the easiest of walks though, may not be suitable for all. The chalet is well equipped and comfortable. Towels and bedding supplied. It’s so much bigger than how it looks from the front. Freezer, washing machine and dryer are located in the back section which is so handy. Also beach bits like buckets and spades. The only negative is that the garden isn’t closed in so although dog friendly, we have to take a lead with a stake so our dog can’t get onto the road. Would be perfect if it had a fence like a lot of the others. Plan to rebook for next year.

We had the best stay, was such a peaceful place with a beautiful view and was blown away by the stunning beach. Our grandchildren loved every moment. All the amenities you could need and more, it was perfect!!! We can’t wait to return. All we can say is thank you!!

We had a great week. Host & Stay was very responsive and helpful. The space provided was pleasant and easy reach to and from the seaside. Lovely to see wildlife such as terns and seals in their natural environment.

The location was beautiful and the cabin was well furnished but there were a lot of general maintenance problems which could lead to a nasty accident. The table and bench almost collapsed after sitting at it, and the steps up to the beach are very dangerous as the rope is broken all the way along and 1 of the posts v loose. Both have been highlighted before by previous tenants , the table and chair most recently by the tenants who arrived just before us and the rope being broken up the steps 2 years ago , despite this maintenance hasn’t been carried out and the company didn’t feel they had a duty of care to inform of risk to use ! The property was listed as having WiFi which didn’t work ! We booked the property because of the WiFi as we both needed to work. It was reported by the previous tenants that it didn’t work. Host and Stay should have offered alternative accommodation so they could fix Wi-Fi and the dangerous maintenance issues. Found nappy left in draw looked dirty !

The place grew on us and by the end of the week we didn't want to leave. We wanted quiet and isolation and that's what we got. The access to the beach from the back garden is treacherous. Access from further down the road is possible but not if you have health issues or disabilities. I managed it just but my wife couldn't.

Great place with everything we needed. Fully equipped kitchen, I don't think anything was missing! Plenty of towels. Great location behind the (large) sand dunes - private access with quite steep steps up to the top of the dunes and over to the beach. However, great 360 deg views! Route up the steps could be quite tricky for some but there are easier alternative routes onto the beach and not too far away. Wonderfully peaceful, quiet and clean beach stretching for miles. Happisburgh and Sea Palling both easy walks along the beach. Friendly neighbours in the neighbouring properties. A lovely few days all round.

We had a really lovely stay here, the house was clean and well equipped. The free local honey was divine!! Throughly enjoyed it, it’s quiet and the surroundings are beautiful. The beach is dreamy, completely dog friendly. The dune behind is slightly higher than we thought but there is much easier access to the beach a minute up the road. The only thing that would have made it better was if the front was fenced in for the dog, otherwise perfect!! Would definately come back and can’t wait too. Thank you.

The property was just behind the dunes, parking was excellent, the steps at the back of the property are steep and there is a bit of rope missing from one of the posts. Unfortunately the oven wasn’t working the element went, so it wasn’t working on arrival.. the shower was very temperamental, you would get it at a suitable temp, then it went hot, so a nuisance allowing children in… The beach is amazing, we brought wet suits so the children went in the sea and loved it, we found a not so steep way to get to the beach just 50m down the road, easy to find. The Elderly neighbours are lovely. We love Eccles, it’s our third year of visiting, we like the isolation, the fact that dogs are allowed all year on the beach, there is plenty of free beech. When the tide is out, it just looks beautiful
