Beautiful old cottage, very tastefully restored with a modern twist. Close to the coast and Felbrigg Hall. Shop within 100mts and a friendly local pub across the road, bonus !!

We put both cars in the drive which meant moving the outdoor furniture as far back as we could. Didn't bother us as the weather wasn't good but in the summer and we chose to use it we would have to move one car and find tolerate it. Not a problem though.

The property internally was perfect. Excellent for 2 families. Both bathrooms to a high standard. Plenty of plates, and pots and pans. Good quality appliances. The location was fantastic being opposite a play park, which the kids loved.

Lack of blinds or curtains on the large glass panel at the back on the property. We were blinded every morning and lack of blinds in bedrooms. Door hooks or rails to hang bath towels would be useful and a few more mugs needed for a house that sleeps 8. No cleaning products supplied. Directions and address not clear but we worked out where the property was from the reviews! The bins were overflowing so we had no where to put our rubbish. Predestination gate would not close and the main gate was too high for the space to be safe for our dog.

Fenders cottage was great size and location for 7 x people, very spacious with very clean and modern decor. It had everything you would need for your stay. Only issue was for us was we had 2 X dogs and the gates had space at the bottom which meant we had to have them on lead in the outside space, but there is a park opposite for them to exercise. Despite only 1 x parking space on the property there is parking outside the pub opposite for more cars. it is on a main road but we didn't notice in the house. Was 9 x minutes from Cromer and 15 X minutes from Sheringham, with Sainsbury's in North Walsham only 10 x minutes away. A great stay had by all, we would highly recommend.

We had a nice stay in Roughton - the cottage was clean, modern and the perfect size for 4 adults and 2 children/babies.
Like other reviewers noted, the cottage is on a roundabout on a busy road and so is very noisy - especially with fast cars at night.
The house was clean, bright and well laid out though and the living space was perfect for our needs.
The weather was hot when we stayed and there are no blinds on the velux windows upstairs meaning it was impossible to block the sun in the daytime or have it dark at night and I think investing in some blinds for those windows would be a good idea.
Overall though it was a nice cottage and we would stay again.

Enjoyed the stay at fender cottage. Facilities are good. Nice layout. Good size bed rooms and the two bathrooms. Liked the open plan kitchen/lounge/dinner. Location to explore Norfolk was good. Actual location different to exact location given in message - navigating to the property, please use the following link ....
Actual location on corner to roundabout and adjacent to large carpark servicing fish and chip shop. Fish and Chip shop is excellent - recommend. Parking for one car inside property court yard ( when using garden furniture) and other cars needed to be parked across otherside of busy road. Confused by signage in the adjacent carpark "no parking fender cottage customers " which means for Fish and Chip customers only 🤔 .
Overall had a lovely stay. Our family was with 5 adults and 3 children.

Interior finished to a high standard and can easily accommodate 6-8 people. Really liked that the host dressed the home for Christmas.
The home takes extremely long to heat and arguably doesn’t get warm. The photos implied there was a garden but there is no outside area. The front patio was unusable for us with dogs due to the fact the gates were bolted open and unable to close.
You would expect the bare necessities in an Airbnb (salt, cooking oil, washing up liquid, shower gel) but none were supplied. You are also next to the main road which gets noisy. A nice plus is being next to a great fish and chips!
