I stayed at Honeysuckle cottage in Bacton with my family and a small dog for a weekend at the end of August. The cottage was really convenient as it’s within walking distance of a beautiful beach and had enough space for all of us. The rooms are generously sized and beds and bedding were clean and tidy. There’s plenty of living space downstairs too with a nice big dining table in the conservatory. There’s so many beautiful places within driving distance and Bacton has a pub and decent chip-shop if you don’t fancy going far. Perfect for a quiet weekend away.

Honeysuckle Cottage is a peaceful retreat. The garden is lovely and secluded and you the sea is so close you can hear the soothing waves breaking at high tide. It is a very short walk to the beach which makes nighttime trips to lie on the sand and look at the stars enticing. Lot's of room inside the cottage and kitchen well equipped for cooking. Especially loved having a large fridge and freezer. A must when self catering for a family. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay at the cottage. There was rubbish left at the property but we cleared it up and we were provided with more bin bags the day after. Would stay here again as the location is great!

House and location were great. Arriving at check-in time and excitedly entering the property to find it had not been cleaned after the previous guests had left was not. Dirty bedding and towels, dirty toilet and plates in sink. Having travelled for over 4 hours with two children and arriving to this was so disappointing. Made worse by it being extremely hard to get through to anyone who manages the house to try and resolve the issue was extremely stressful and not what a holiday is about. When the mortified cleaner did arrive after we called, she told us Host & Stay were aware there was an issue with the cleaner at 2pm &she had asked for them to contact us - no one did. We had to unload our supermarket delivery in the garden & wait 2 hours during which time the neighbour came in to moan at us for parking in his space - it wasn't even our car. Distinct impression from the letting agent was that they couldn't have cared less about what had happened.

Beautiful house with great walking vicinity to the beautiful sandy beach. The houses was incredibly weel equipped in regards to the kitchen, DVDs in the cinema room. Lovely space and all ages really enjoyed. Two parking spots out the park were brilliant too. Hope to return.

We had a great stay at Honeysuckle cottage, it was the perfect location for our 2 families. We had everything we needed at the cottage and really appreciated the little extras - Clarinova keyboard, hamper full of games and wide range of DVD's. We made good use of the cinema room and garden and enjoyed all the space available. Able to walk to a couple of beaches, 2 walkable fish and chip shops, pub and lovely cafe. Play park close by with basket ball hoop and football goals which was a bonus

The cottage was warm and cosy, and everything was clean. Good facilities all round. It is very close to the beach which was great too. Our only negative was that the single bed was located above the stairs and was at a higher than normal height which wasn't suitable for our elderly family member. This isn't clear from the photo.

Really lovely place, exactly as described. We have stayed in the area before so picked this spot as a short walk to a wonderful beach. Definitely recommend the local chinese and chips from Mundesley Village Chip Shop! Cinema room was great and the selection of DVDs was amazing!! Shame that the dining table was out in the conservatory for the time of year, although could see the space being perfect in the summer! However, the cottage could have benefited from a deep clean and a little more thought. With check in not till 4pm not even being left a couple of pieces of wood for a first night fire, was problematic. Also, no washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets, small things make the first night a lot easier. We had a couple of minor gripes with cleanliness but nothing too major really; dirty baking trays were easily rectified with plenty of foil and baking paper. Small touches, which would make this place 5 star!!

We stayed in Honeysuckle Cottage for a long weekend (five friends and two dogs) and wish we’d been able to stay longer. The cottage is beautiful; very clean and comfortable with everything you could need. It was lovely having such a pretty garden that was safe for the dogs. The beautiful, quiet beach is a 5 minute walk away, perfect for long walks/swimming. You can walk for miles. The few questions we had before we arrived were answered speedily, helpfully and all contact was super-friendly. Thank you and we hope to come back again; it was a lovely place to stay.

Fantastic proximity to the beach! 4min walk & such a lovely/quiet beach. A good family house with space to play on rainy days. There is a park in the village & Watsons cafe serves great breakfasts & cakes. Take wood for the wood burner as this isn’t provided.

Lovely cosy cottage very close to the sea. a few local restaurants and amenities within walking distance. Just a note there are 2 parking spaces and look for the post box pillar which is at the opening to the drive where the parking spaces are at the rear of the cottage to the left of the garage. We really enjoyed our stay, the cottage was spacious but cosy with all modern amenities.

Just enjoyed a week stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. Lovely accommodation with everything you could want for a stay at the coast. Safe for our two dogs who enjoyed the secure garden. Would highly recommend.

Lovely, spacious cottage within a stone’s throw of a fab beach. Beautifully clean and comfortable. Very warm and very well equipped. We were a family of five staying over Christmas and felt we had plenty of space without tripping over each other The ‘cinema room’ was a nice touch!

As a family of six, we stayed at Honeysuckle Cottage 31 July-6 August 2023 - what a gem! Originally, we were meant to be taking our dog but unfortunately we were unable to in the end, however had we have brought him the garden is completely enclosed and wouldn’t have worried about him escaping. The Cottage - a huge conservatory with dining table for eight people, a great space for dumping walking boots & coats after a brisk walk on the beach. The lounge is cosy with comfortable sofas. The cinema room with overhead projector was great & the kids loved it - a fantastic selection of DVDs & games available. I noted that previously there had been comments made about the comfort of the beds, however we found them to be very comfortable. The two bathrooms were squeaky clean & kitchen well equipped (no toaster though). Lovely location - walking distance to a lovely, quiet sandy beach. Also, Poachers Pocket pub is just 5mins walk & The Lighthouse Inn is 15mins walk - both highly recommend.

Wonderful cottage for us to stay in as we visited family in North Walsham. A wonderful stretch of beach to walk our dog and very peaceful. Anybody wanting peace and quiet it certainly is the place to stay at. Thank you 😊

We had a lovely stay in Honeysuckle Cottage. The property is exactly as described and very clean. The beach is a very short walk away which was great for the kids and the dogs! Garden was a good space, really secure. All kitchen appliances were very new/modern looking and clean. A few things we didn’t quite enjoy was that the beds were pretty uncomfortable but appreciate that is personal preference and the parking isn’t ideal for large cars. We had a van and small MPV with us and struggled to get them both in the two spaces. Local parking isn’t great either so worth considering if you’ve got large vehicles to bring! Also no toaster is annoying, although there are two ovens which both have a grill - just not as quick and convenient as a toaster.

We had a lovely stay with our friends and dogs here. Garden is fully enclosed so great to let dogs and kids run around. Best thing about the house is it's proximity to the beach. The house had enough space for 2 kids, 2 dogs and 3 adults. It looks exactly like the pictures and we enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately the location we got given led us to a different holiday cottage and we were unable to contact the host (even on out of hours number) so had to do a bit of driving up and down to find it. Also just to note, the car park spaces are difficult to manoeuvre if you have larger cars, probably fine for small cars.

Gorgeous cottage in a great location. Beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture and so many nice design features. Loads of great family games to keep everyone happy. Plenty of space for everyone; inside and out. Lovely bed linen, pillows, towels etc Short walk to nice sandy beach Would highly recommend for a great family break at the seaside

Honeysuckle cottage is absolutely delightful place to stay on the North Norfolk coast. Situated within a short walking distance to the beach, the secure garden was superb for our dog. The spacious conservatory was great for us to sit down to a family meal. The piano is a major plus is you have a talented pianist with you (luckily we did).

What a wonderful, well-equipped and spacious cottage! We had excellent communication from the owners and the location was ideal. The cottage only three minutes from the beach with great footpaths. Very clean and classy.
