Beautiful cottage on the Broads. Well equipped kitchen, beautiful log fire and well stocked and biggest highlight was the log heated hot tub! Lovely pub nearby and beautiful walks around the countryside. Only issue was the TV in the bedroom didn’t work and although we contacted the host it was never repaired.

Lovely home and we all enjoyed the stay albeit with some issues. We could not find the Tv remote. When checking there were lots of wrappers under the sofa from previous guest. We have large vehicles and the entry to the lane where the house is located is very narrow. Unfortunately both pubs were closed also which meant we didn’t spend much time in Reedham and had to get in the car to find other places etc. The garden is lovely but not safe for us to let the dogs off of the lead due to no side gate and we were a little worried the dogs may jump in the water as the ledge is much lower than expected to the river. We also had a slight altercation with a neighbour which dampened our trip also.

Beautiful property in the the village of Reedham. A couple of local pubs, we recommend The Ship where we had a gorgeous dinner. Lovely local cafe and deli Cannells where we had a great breakfast before we went home. Also recommend Reedham Fish and Chip bar - the food was excellent We slept really well, excellent beds. Comfy corner sofa and plenty of logs to light the fire at night. Kitchen had everything we needed and my husband loved the bean to coffee machine. House was warm and heating was timed to meet our needs and boost where needed. Shower and water always hot. There is a hot tub although we didn’t use it but clear instructions on how to fire it up. Home from home really.

It is such a beautiful and comfortable home in a stunning location. The owners had many thoughtful touches, like gifts upon arrival from local producers as well as premium coffee options, quality linens, etc. The location is incredible for pubs and many walks and is also well equipped with a local train station for travelling into Norwich or to many other places. It was dreamy to be in the hot tub or the hammock and just watch the boats so be, so relaxing.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely property as a family of 5 with 3 teenage boys. The location is incredible with lovely pubs in walking distance. We managed to launch our paddle boards from the garden after getting some good advice from the local river ranger to know the tides and of coarse wear buoyancy aids. There is a big drop down into the water but we made it work. The hot tub is incredible, easy to get going and keep hot and the hammock was a bonus. We would definitely recommend this holiday home. Thank you for having us.

This was a great holiday, with a fabulous location and property. The only things worth noting are, whilst it is a house for six, it felt a little smaller than the impression we'd got from the photos. Also there was only just enough crockery, cutlery, glassware etc for one meal for six, which meant either more washing up or putting the dishwasher when it wasn't full. The other (minor) point would be it would be helpful if there were more comprehensive instructions, e.g. how to use the coffee machine, how to get the outside lights working. These were fairly quickly resolved by the host and are minor things... overall, it was a brilliant location and house - thank you!

We stayed at 3 Riverside Cottage in Reedham for a family birthday celebration and were delighted with our first impressions. The welcome gift of four bottles of local brew beer and delicious biscuits were appreciated and enjoyed. The cottage is clean and comfortable, well provided for in terms of facilities and there were no maintenance issues inside or outside. There are two friendly pubs within walking distance, a couple of lovely coffee shops for breakfast and lunches if required or desired. I wished we had booked for 5 days rather than 3 days as we have now moved on to another location. A well deserved five stars from our family.

Great peaceful location. Comfy beds and lovely fire. Hot tub really hard to work, had a fire going for 3/4 hours yet the hot tub didn’t heat.

Fabulous house, very homely. Great setting and very private. Local restaurants were lovely in particular The Ship & Chesca’s was amazing. Lovely to watch the boats pass bye. Very tranquil setting. I would definitely recommend.

Just got home from a weekend at this beautiful cottage and will definitely be going back. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Situated perfectly for what we wanted. Peaceful and relaxing but with 3 pub/restaurants within walking distance. One especially was a beautiful approx 40min walk along the river to get too. Locals were welcoming and friendly and for a small village had everything we needed

A lovely peaceful location. Two pubs within walking distance and a lovely garden with a view of the Norfolk broads from the hot tub! Cosy, clean property. We had a lovely time.

What a stunning house in the most peaceful countryside. Sitting in the garden at the water’s edge is the most relaxing pastime. The Ship was our go to pub and we had some great meals there. The perfect place for a weekend getaway.

We have just arrived back home after staying at the cottage for a long weekend for Mother’s Day. We have had an amazing home from home experience, there was nothing else we could have wanted that wasn’t there! We ate at the Ship and can honestly say it was the best roast dinner we have ever had, it is a definite must try!! Relaxing in the hot tub and feeding the resident ducks was just gorgeous. We will most definitely be returning, thank you so much for letting us experience your beautiful cottage.

We hired this cottage for 4 nights. The view looking onto the river and beyond to the Broads is spectacular. We heated the hot tub each night and relaxed each evening stargazing! The lounge is cosy with a lovely log burning stove and plenty of games, books and a big TV. The amenities in the kitchen were great and included a lovely range cooker, American style fridge-freezer and coffee maker. The bedrooms were all a good size and 2 of them had views over the river. Reedham itself is a lovely village and there are plenty of walks locally as well as beyond in the Broads. We were able to arrange a supermarket delivery to the cottage and pick this up from the driver just down the road next to the pub (as the van couldn't come under the low bridge). The Ship Inn at the end of the road has a good menu and also has local beers from Humpty Dumpty Brewery (based in the village). I would recommend staying at Riverside for a peaceful, relaxing break in the Norfolk Broads.

Just spent a long weekend at Riverside Cottage with friends. The cottage was perfect for a weekend of relaxing. The cottage is really cosy with lovely interiors, comfy beds with beautiful views of the countryside, lovely open log fireplace and everything you could need was provided. the hosts left a lovely welcome pack, with beers from the local brewery which was a kind touch. The highlight was the hot tub and garden views, so peaceful and relaxing. The stargazing in the hot tub was a treat! The village is small, but has a couple of pubs, shop and deli. Norfolk Holiday Properties were great to deal with, very responsive and also facilitated an early check in which was really appreciated. The owners also messaged to wish us a lovely holiday which was a lovely touch. So yes, would highly recommend River Cottage! I wish we could've stayed longer and can only imagine how lovely it is in the summer! hopefully we'll be back!

Lovely stay with the family (five) for New Years. Fantastic place to get away from it all, over looking the river Yare, great walks which take you directly into the broads. The amenities were very modern and excellent, and location has a local shop close by as well as two pubs, the Ship being one just down the road, which is in easy walking distance and serves food too. The kids loved the hot tub, and at night you can can sit in the hot tub gaze at the stars!
