We stayed here (6 adults and 2 doggies) and were very happy with our short stay at Sandpit Cottage, the cottage is beautiful and well equipped. The garden and hot tub served us well during our stay and we enjoyed eating outside on the lovely large table in the sun each day. The welcome pack was a big bonus and found the recommendations for things to do and places to eat very helpful. There was lots to do only a short drive away from the cottage, however on one rainy day we stayed at the cottage the whole day and still had plenty to entertain ourselves! I would definitely stay at Sandpit cottage again and will be recommending to friends and family!

Sandpit cottage is in a beautiful location, lots to do and lovely beaches nearby. Cottage is lovely, fully equipped, it has a proper hot tub! We only went for a few days wish I had booked for the week!

Perfect accommodation with everything we needed for our weekend away. The beds were comfortable, the place was spotless when we arrived, all the amenities that we needed plus more and the hot tub was an added bonus too.

Our stay at Sandpit Cottage was great, it had everything we needed and in a good location that is only a short drive away to lovely pubs and beaches. Unfortunately we were told we were unable to use the bbq as hoped, although this is listed for guest use in the about section of the property. Overall the place was clean and tidy, but the kitchen (fridge and oven) could have been a bit cleaner. The hot tub was a fantastic addition which we made use of almost every day! Overall, great value in a lovely location - we had a fab time!

The place were the cottage is is very very quiet so for peace its ideal, apart from the japping dog from one of the neighbours, you definitely need a vehicle to get to places the hot tub was nice, the garden gets the sun, two of the bedrooms, the beds are too big for the rooms, you don't have much room around the bed, would of been nice if the en suite had a shower too, as with 6 adults, waiting for one shower, can take an age! n The only other thing I would say is the cottage needs some TLC, looks very tired in places

There's a lot to like about this cottage. Lovely welcome pack, beautiful location and well laid out, plenty of room for our family. I agree with other reviewers who said the beds were big (bedroom 2 & 3) and there's not a lot of space to 'put things'. Master was good with a long chest of draws and good surface area. Partly my fault when I booked but I didn't realise this cottage didn't have a full en-suite. It's listed as having one but it does say in the description that the en-suite is just a toilet and sink. I would probably still have booked but it's not a full en suite. My family really do need two bathrooms. But entirely my responsibility to check that! No floor towel or mop was provided (though other towels were) and there was no where to hang hand towels in either toilet. I don't know why there aren't towel rails for hand towels next to the sinks. But bathroom and ground floor got very wet from the hot tub. So a mop and floor towels would have been good. But a lot to like!

We had a lovely stay . Nice clean well equipped accommodation . The welcome goodies were very much appreciated. Nice suntrap terrace with a very relaxing hot tub. We would definitely come back.

We had a lovely family weekend at the property. The hot tub was a real hit! Sadly two of the rooms were small. The double room had no hanging area but drawers under the bed. Initially it looked clean but on closer inspection sadly it wasn't and there were areas that hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. It was in a good location with easy access to local attractions and the coast. Apart from these issues the cottage was very cosy and we all enjoyed our stay.

We had a great family (including our dog) short stay at this cottage in Norfolk and recommend it. We’ve stayed in Norfolk a few times and found this to be in a great location. 10 minute drive from the beaches and a 3 minute drive from a lovely friendly pub. The house has a rustic feel, and the large sofas were very welcoming after day’s walking, the beds some of the most comfortable we’ve slept in. It was equipped with everything we needed. I loved the hot tub - huge, and felt an indulgence during April! The enclosed garden is paved over which worked well for us and meant that we didn’t worry about the dog escaping whilst we all sat outside. We only took the one car but plenty of room to park at the house.

Thorpe market is a lovely place to stay, very peaceful with lots of walks and lovely pubs near by (Gunton Arms and Suffield Arms). The Airbnb was lovely, perfect for a family trip away. It was a little dusty in bedrooms and not as clean as it could have been, especially with a later check in. We were also disappointed that there were no logs for the fireplace, as it was stated in the welcome booklet. However the hot tub was a lovely bonus and so was the BBQ, with great weather.

A lovely, homely and well equipped cottage with a great starter pack. The hot tub was perfect after a day sightseeing and visiting beaches. The location near three amazing restaurants the Gunton Arms, Suffield Arms and Vernon Arms was great. I can highly recommend staying at Sandpit Cottage.

Couple of observations could do with more access to mirrors with sockets for ladies getting ready. Also the configuration of the shower is just awful but although didn’t completely cause any issues it would stop us using again

My adult family of 6 had a great stay at Sandpit Cottage. The cottage is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The location is great for all the lovely beaches and attractions of the stunning Norfolk coast - Horsey beach with the hundreds of seals was a highlight! Cromer was visited twice with lunches involving the famous local crab of course. We visited the Vernon Arms which was a wonderful evening with fantastic food. We did struggle having only 1 shower with 6 adults, but that is entirely my fault for misreading the details of the en-suite bathroom, which only has a loo and sink! The lounge was very comfortable with squishy sofas, though we spent most of our time in the light and airy kitchen or the hot tub (which wold have been perfect if it had been under cover with the deluge of rain we had!) A generous welcome pack was left which was very kind and much appreciated.

We had a great stay. Good place for a short stay but would have felt too small for a longer stay. The downstairs had enough room but 2 out of the 3 bedrooms were very small with limited space to put things. The second king bedroom really needed a smaller bed frame as the bed took up most of the room, meant you could to get to plug sockets and you had to squeeze down the side of the bed to use it. On the plus side it was very comfortable. The hot tub and outside area was really nice and felt private even though other properties were nearby.

Beautiful cottage , on arrival , spotlessly clean, kitchen well equipped, great parking , Large lounge, lovely bathroom and huge family kitchen to share meals, perfect for our family of 6 and a baby. Points to make- lg lamp needed in lounge, extension cable for room with sleigh bed as no plug points assessable due to tight space. Disappointed hot tub not filled, will leave a private review for this as messaged and didn’t want to respond to air b and b and spoil our holiday as this was a big selling point for our family. Overall we loved the location and cottage was cosy. Thank you

Lovely cottage in a great location. Dog friendly and had a lovely country feel. Lovely big kitchen space to socialise. We did however find the hot tub to be intrusive and reduce space outside a little too much but that is more of a personal preference matter as we did not wish to use the hot tub.

Sandpit cottage is an amazing place to disconnect from the city and enjoy the countryside. This place has everything you need and accommodates 6 people comfortably. We did have an issue with one of the beds (which seemed to be not as clean as we would have expected) but the host was very responsive and fixed the issue in no time! We strongly recommend it! :)

Really nice cottage with comfortable beds and a great lounge space. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with pots/pans/utensils to cook all of our meals. The terrace was lovely although we didn't use it much due to the October weather, but it got sun all morning. definitely would recommend this place

We had a very enjoyable stay over August bank holiday, with plenty of room for six of us. The cottage is very comfortable and well located for nearby coastal towns and beaches. Wi-fi was strong, dishwasher handy, easy parking for two cars, excellent BBQ - we would definitely recommend.
