The space
The homely reception room, located to the left of the entrance, features cosy seating around a charming woodburner.White End features two inviting bedrooms. The master bedroom includes a king-size bed with fresh linen, ample wardrobe space, and a chest of drawers, plus a private staircase for easy access to the kitchen. The second bedroom is a cosy twin room.
The modern family bathroom boasts a standalone bath, a walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head, a toilet, sink, heated towel rail, and vanity cupboard.
Guest access
Guests have access to the full property.The keys to White End are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
One well-behaved dog is welcome to stay at the property.
Private on-site parking is available at White End. Please note that the parking available at the property is not suitable for large cars as it's only a little space. Further parking is available just down the road (1-minute walk).
The property features steep stairs which are not suitable for guests with limited mobility. There are two stair cases, with the steepest stairs between the master bedroom and the kitchen.
There are doors to the bedroom and at the bottom of the stairs, which means that access can be restricted from young children. We would advise keeping the doors closed.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage in Salthouse. The cottage was very quaint and well maintained in the Norfolk flint cottage style. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom spacious and looked like freshly renovated. We also really appreciated the kids books and toys available for our little ones. The onsite parking was tight for our car - we couldn’t park and all exit at the same time but it was easy to get on street parking so this wasn’t an issue. This was a very peaceful place for our family getaway with an easy morning walk to the village store that sells great coffee and all the essentials you’ll need and of course the wonderful Dun Cow pub. We will be back!

White End was the perfect place for us to stay. It has a peaceful garden which catches the sun all day, comfortable furnishings (especially the beds!) and is in a beautiful location. It’s a great base for exploring the surrounding area - Cley, Blakeney, Cromer etc. The nearby Dun Cow pub, Salthouse stores and Salthouse beach are fab. We hope to return!

The cottage is beautifully restored and appointed. Despite its modern appliances and furnishings it keeps its old-world charm. The bathroom is a delight, with its stand-alone bath and really wonderful shower. Stairs are steep and narrow, which may be a problem for the less mobile amongst us, but the beds are comfortable, the bedrooms light and airy and there are added delights for youngsters, in cupboards and drawers around the property. It is an excellent base from which to explore the North Norfolk Coast, has a charming pub, The Dun Cow less than a mile away, and a village shop crammed with produce, a must to visit. I enjoyed my stay in White End. Whether a family, a couple or solo traveller, it will welcome you. Plus, of course, there is a lovely garden, a lawn which is a meadow, filled with wild flowers, bench and patio furniture in which to relax. Drawbacks? Very limited onsite parking, but there is parking space to fight over further down the street.

Beautifully renovated and perfectly equipped. Garden is a real sun-trap too. We stayed with our two young children and a dog and it had everything you would need. Parking is tight but workable and there is space to tuck in on the road while you unload if you need more space. Walkable to the pub, sea and village shop. We will be back!

Loved staying at White End. From the second we walked in we were blown away with how homely it felt without being fussy or cluttered or like someone else's home. High quality appliances, lovely comfortable beds, a bath with a view and a really good shower. Can't think of a single thing we didn't like - we'll definitely be back!

- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.

- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
