The space
The ground floor features an open-plan layout with the lounge, kitchen, and dining area. The lounge has comfy seating, a gas fireplace, and a wall-mounted smart TV.The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and all necessary utensils. A breakfast bar separates the kitchen from the lounge, and a large dining table offers lovely views over the quay.
Shipyard Studio offers two cosy bedrooms, ideal for up to four guests. The double bedroom has direct access to a balcony with beautiful waterside views of the quay, while the twin bedroom features an ensuite with a shower over the bath.
The property has two well-appointed bathrooms. The twin room’s ensuite includes a shower over the bath, and the second bathroom has a shower and separate WC, ensuring comfort for all guests.
Shipyard Studio offers plenty of outdoor space, including a balcony off the double bedroom with stunning waterside views. A raised seating area at the front is great for evening relaxation, while the sunroom at the back opens to a spacious garden.

Studio Shipyard is a great place to stay. It's location is superb with fantastic waterfront views and within walking distance to local cafes, pubs and shops. It is quirky, full of character, cosy yet spacious with all necessary home comforts. It is clearly a well-loved abode.

A difficult review to write. The house is in a perfect location with superb views across the salt marshes. It is big enough to accommodate two couples easily. We enjoyed our stay very much and there is a lot to like about the house. However, internally it is quirky to say the least. It is not my place to list the number of ways that it could be improved and made safer for guests. An unbiased assessment of all facilities would be helpful and potentially worthwhile for both the owner and future guests.

We absolutely loved this beautiful property: it’s huge, very light, well equipped and just beyond the busy part of Wells but an easy stroll into the town. The balcony was a particular plus and we spent most evenings up there. The bed was super comfy and we also appreciated having two bathrooms and a spare loo, as our bathroom at home is being refitted :). We had wonderful weather and enjoyed a lot of walking as well as excellent food and drink all week. Very highly recommended!

- If the guest cancels fewer than 30 days in advance, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
