Had a lovely stay, the cottage is cute but well sized. Clean but could do with a lick of fresh paint. The kitchen is well stocked.

On a positive note the cottage is ideally situated for touring Norfolk it’s is very tranquil and safe for both dogs and children with lovely walks nearby with lots of wildlife a deer visited the garden most mornings It was lovely and cool inside and the fridge freezer large and excellent for our needs .The shower is powerful but covered in scale and mould On a negative and taking into account it is an old property it definitely needs a thorough clean, cob webs / hairs and stains on all the furniture .Windows filthy all around ,in the utility the bins had been emptied but they were very dirty inside The sofa was very low and in such a poor state we could not sit on it Other chairs upstairs were worn and dirty The stairs are very very steep The dishwasher is unusable unable to close the door as the outer case has falling off it and it has definitely been like that some time I don’t like leaving bad reviews and it’s such a shame as with some basic TLC this cottage would be awesome.

We loved our stay at this beautiful rustic cottage, which was full of character and charm. The interior matched the photos, and the bedrooms were particularly lovely, clean and well presented. There were a few maintenance issues that are worth mentioning. On arrival, the second door was unlocked, and we discovered the key didn’t lock it properly at night. Although the cottage was very tidy, the hallway walls looked quite grubby and would benefit from repainting. As we stayed during very hot weather, it was disappointing that most of the sash windows either wouldn’t open or wouldn’t stay open. One bedroom window also had a cracked pane, so we were reluctant to open it in case it caused further damage. There was also a split in one of the stairs that had caused it to bow slightly This may be something the owners would want to repair, as could potentially become a safety issue. Overall, we had a lovely stay. It’s a very charming cottage that would benefit from a few small repairs.

We had a lovely few nights staying at Haclin Cottage. It was exactly as described. Private parking space which was big enough for our large car. Garden was partially secure so had to keep our dog on his lead when using the garden. Beautiful surroundings and could hear the farm animals nearby which was lovely. Ideal spot nearby to Fakenham and around 30-40 minutes drive out to picturesque Cromer, Burnham Overy Staithes and Wells-Next-The-Sea. The Fat Cow is a must for delicious burgers! Would definitely come back! Thank you
