Great having a separate little room for the nursery. The cottage is beautifully decorated and great location for travelling to local areas. Loved the boards games available and how peaceful the cottage location is.

The cottage needs some TLC. The paint looks tired and chipped in places. The wallpaper in the nursery is peeling in some places. The hot water stopped working twice although the host was very quick at responding and advising how we can fix this. The dishwasher was broken on arrival and I think it has been broken for a while from reading previous reviews. The baby safety gate could do with being updated as it doesn’t feel fully secure, fine for our baby who is only crawling but if you have an active walker/toddler, not convinced it would be good enough. The cot come with a mattress but oddly no sheet, we did ask in advance and no measurements were provided. Such a peaceful spot but if you want a pub or something to do within walking distance, this probably isn’t for you as you have to drive to everything apart from a kids park which is about a 10 minute walk. Such a lovely cottage but needs refreshing.

The cottage is really lovely. It’s nicely decorated and has a nice-sized garden at the back. The kitchen is well-stocked and there’s a generous selection of DVDs. The beds were very comfortable (such soft bedding!) and it was warm inside the cottage, too.
However, the dishwasher was broken, there was no sheet for the cot despite the host messaging us to say there would be one, and no spare bedding anywhere in the property which would have been useful. Also note that there’s no washing detergent, shampoo, etc.
Finally, I think their customer service is handled by an AI because most of my messages were replied to twice. I’m not against chatbots however I would prefer more of a human-touch from an Airbnb property.

We spent a relaxing few days in the house, exploring North Norfolk. The house itself is in a quiet location on the edge of a small village.
We felt it was very good value for a charming property.
As others have noted, there is definitely room for some minor redecoration etc, but for the price paid there are no complaints at all. It was also reassuring to see that they have taken other reviews on board and the kitchen cupboards were better stocked with cups and plates etc.
There are two bedrooms each with a double bed, plus a small nursery. Despite signing up as two adults plus two children, the sleeping arrangements weren't questioned by the host - other families might not have been happy with the double bed for children, for example, so take a look at the photos carefully - and be sure to ask the host if you need accommodating!
We would be very happy to stay again, although perhaps we would choose a different part of Norfolk for a change.
