We have had a lovely weekend . The hideaway is in a great location. The property itself is lovely and secluded with a good dive and secure garden and very quiet .We definitely would recommend great location within a 5-10 min walk to the centre of town and all amenities. The location was in a lovely cul de sac. Bowling green pub within a 2 minute walk ideal when walking home from town. Overall a little TLC and this would undoubtedly be up there for places to stay in wells.

The bungalow felt very spacious - especially as there were only two of us plus dog. The back garden was also large, fully enclosed and not overlooked, though we didn't get to make much use of it, as the weather was on the chilly side. Not to worry, as we simply relaxed indoors most of the time for a few days, in what was a a quiet area, but with the main part of Wells an easy walk away, where there was plenty to see and do.

A lovely stay in the Hideaway ...everything we needed and the weather was lovely to be able to eat lunch in the secure and private garden whilst the children played with a ball. Loads to do within walking or cycling distance and beautiful countryside around. Would definitely return.

We had a lovely break in a nice bungalow with a great garden and easy parking. Was great to have dressing tables in both the bedrooms. House is ideally situated to get to a lot of places with easy access. Grandkids and Molly the dog enjoyed everything and us too.

We had a great Easter break at The Hideaway. We didn’t use the car as everything in Wells was in walking distance and on the two days we walked the coastal path we used the excellent bus service to get to our starting point. Everything in the bungalow was perfect!

The bungalow was in a great location to explore Wells and surrounding areas. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We had an issue on New Year’s Eve/Day with the smoke alarm battery beeping to be changed. Very responsive and attentive, despite it being a bank holiday. We will definitely be booking this accommodation again.

A lovely, quiet and relaxing stay. Very spacious property with all the facilities you need for a short break. Our toddler loved being able to run around safely and the garden was perfect for our dog. Great location, very quiet and we even saw shooting stars at night as so dark, yet a short stroll from the town. We look forward to staying again.

We had a very comfortable stay here. The property is very nice, bedding and towels are fine. Just a couple of comments: the tv channels are very limited, but the tv is up to date and wifi at the property is good so we logged onto our netflix for our stay. Also it's very dark at night and there is no security light at the front door, so bring a torch. The second toilet is in the covered passageway outside the main building so is cold. The property is 15 mins walk (for us!) to the front and there is a decent pub (The Bowling Green) about 5 mins walk away. We plan to stay here again.

The bungalow is really lovely and spacious and in a great location. I’ve been visiting wells for over 30 years and would definitely stay at the bungalow again we had a great time. Loved the games that were provided and the beds and living room furniture were all comfortable. The garden was a great size for the pooch and toddler to run around and would suit a family with older children. Outdoor seating for plenty with a bbq (we didn’t use the bbq) but in good summer weather it would be ideal! Would say that the carpet needs replacing, lots of suspect stains on it, but having a dog and it being pet friendly I’m not as bothered by it as some would be. Maybe some hard flooring would be a better choice. Could do with a better selection of glasses E.g some pint pots wouldn’t go amiss! All being said, we would book again and recommend.

The location is perfect (quiet cul-de-sac, 10mins walk from the quay) and there are some nice touches e.g. the owner’s artwork. The kitchen/utility are modern and all amenities are in good working order. The garden is big as is the driveway. The bedrooms are a good size and there’s plenty of storage/hanging space. There were a couple of minor issues (the soft main bed mattress has been mentioned in a previous review, and perhaps the carpets could do with a clean) but overall it was a good stay.

A lovely, spacious bungalow in a quiet location, but close to the quay and lovely French’s fish and chips! We loved hearing the cattle and birds, especially the pheasant which visited the back garden in the morning. The furniture is good quality, and the bed and bedding are so comfortable. The amenities are great e.g. ‘fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Norfolk Holiday Properties are very good hosts with good communication, and self check in was easy. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we will stay again if in the area.

Property was in a lovely quiet position , lovely big garden if you have children. Kitchen very well equipped and cosy comfortable lounge . Cleanliness was spot on and had everything you would need ! The only thing about the property we felt needed updating soon was the front bed / mattress. It was a little uncomfortable and we were rolling into middle of bed all the time. The location is great, very near the town and quayside with an ambundace of lovely cafe / bars/ shops and visit to the van on the front for food to take away was amazing . The only disappointment was the all the work we had to do before we left at 10 am on the last morning. My mother who was on the trip is disabled so the extensive cleaning requests left on the list before departure was a struggle. We pay a service fee and cleaning fee, so it felt dissapointing and a little unreasonable that its the guests responsibility to strip all beds, clean, take bins out and so on.... and be packed and out before 10am. We would always leave a property very tidy and the kitchen would be left as we found it but we felt the new cleaning requests was a bit over the top, even considering COVID. That's surely what the fees are for? Considering that, the fees are expensive.

Fantastic home to explore Wells and the surrounding area. Very high spec and comfortable. The house is quiet, airy, spacious and feels just like home. 20 walk / 10 min drive to the beach. 5 min drive to supermarket Almost didn't leave a review so that it can stay my secret for next year!

Had a lovely week in The Hideaway. It's such a peaceful spot, very relaxing. Our boys loved the size of the garden and being able to run around the property, it was great being away from a busy road and tucked up out of the way. Everything we could need was provided. A great location to see the area and walk/ride to the beach. There are some amazing and beautiful places nearby that we explored. We would definitely return.

A lovely, spacious bungalow in a quiet location, but close to the quay. The furniture is good quality, and the bed and bedding are so comfortable. The amenities are great e.g. ‘fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Norfolk Holiday Properties responded quickly to my request for non-feather bedding. One of the best Airbnb places I’ve stayed in.

This is a great house in a lovely location. The garden is ideal for dogs and children to play and is completely enclosed. A wide variety of board games are provided and the option of eating in the kitchen area or lounge area was ideal. Only a ten minute walk into Wells-next-the-Sea. Would recommend the nearby Bowling Green Inn, Snettetsham Farm Park, NNR Poppy Line Steam Railway, Holkham beach and the adjacent pine woods, Wells beach - All of these locations and kiddie and dog friendly

This is a modern, well appointed, warm and comfortable spacious property. Only a short walk into Wells but could be bit too far in very wet weather! Kitchen is well equipped. Would be great to use the garden, but not in a chilly October!

This is a beautiful property with everything you need to feel at home. It is very warm, which can be unusual at this time if the year, and, although the heating can be activated at any time, the house is so well insulated that we had to turn it off many times. Everything about this property is to be recommended: the space, the extra toilet, the comfortable sofas (two of them), the lighting, the garden, the location, evrything. Our host checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed, which was thoughtful and reassuring. All in all, a beautiful property.

Location was great, about 10 minute walk to the Quay, shops and pubs. The Property was well laid out with plenty of parking and also in a quiet tucked away place. The check-in and out process was simple and communication was great. Overall; a hassle free break in a great location.

This is a great bungalow. It’s clean and spacious, with great facilities including a utility room with washer, dryer and iron and ironing board. The house is on the edge of Wells and isn’t overlooked at all despite being in a residential area. The large back garden is completely enclosed, so great for dogs. It’s only about a 10 minute easy walk to the sea front. I loved it and would definitely return.

The Hideaway is a lovely property standing on a larger plot with a large secluded garden. It is tastefully decorated and very clean. Large rooms with plenty of space and very comfortable. We visited in November with a young baby and it was nice and warm. Everything we needed for a short stay was provided. The kitchen was very well equipped. The location was good just a short walk into Wells for shops, pubs and restaurants. I would highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely time at The Hideaway. On a great plot, tucked away so its very quiet. No passing traffic at end of a turning. Good size rooms with plenty of storage space. The beds and linen are great. Garden is lovely plenty of parking. A bit of a walk into town but very near the bowling green pub. We will definitely return!

A wonderful and spacious property perfect for anyone travelling with Young kids or dogs. Has everything you need for a longer stay and is great to relax in after a day walking on the beach. Dogs can dry off in the spacious kitchen or utility room, whilst living room offers a lovely cozy feel to it. Having a good size private garden is good for warmer weather and for dogs to run around in. In a perfect location for Wells or Holkham and even though only a 10 minute walk parking around is easy so literally minutes away.

We had a great few days at the Hideaway. it is exactly as you see in the pictures - clean and comfortable, with good facilities. We had excellent communication from Norfolk Holiday Properties in advance and they also responded promptly to a query we had while we were in the property. It is in a great location, at the end of a cul-de-sac therefore nice and quiet, but only about a 10 minute walk from the seafront. A co-op supermarket is about 4-5 minutes' walk away.

The bungalow is a lovely place to stay, just a short walk from the harbour. Close to shops, coffee shops and restaurants. The beach is a little further but perfect if you have a car or don’t mind a walk. All essentials were provided and the place was clean and inviting. The beds were amazingly comfortable too! Lovely big garden that my son and dog loved running around! The host even provided a travel cot, high chair and changing mat after I asked if a cot was provided! Would definitely recommend and Wells is a beautiful place with a beach that gives any place abroad a run for its money!

We had a great stay here. The large garden is great for dogs and the entrance hallway with loo can be totally closed off from the house if the dog is messy and needs to be cleaned up before coming inside. The house is very spacious and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped and all the basics are provided. I wished I had booked a longer stay.
