Not very clean, unpleasant smell, no wi-fi, a lot of long confusing messages from the host. I didn't like having a gas stove (!) just in the bedroom.

Flat 3 was ok but we did not book flat 3. The above picture is flat 7 which we did choose. Flat 7 has a table and chairs and a bed one can get into. Flat three comes with a warning for those with mobility issues! Bed not accessible.

Bed had to be climbed into from the living room, no access from the bedroom. Those with mobility issues can't access the bed. Needs better curtains in living room. Tiny basin in bathroom, impossible/difficult to use as so small. Breakfast bar, no table anf chairs. No parking.

Little things like having washing up liquid and a dish towel would make the stay more comfortable. Nigh on impossible to take a shower without water leaking out on the floor. Draughty, single-pane windows - I wouldn't want to stay in winter. Uneven floors were quite something!

Great location with easy access to bars, pubs, takeaways and restaurants on Unthank rd. Only a 15 minute walk into the centre of Norwich. Would definitely stay here again. thanks!

The location was good for the hospital which is what we needed. Everything we needed in the kitchen for self catering. Communication from the management team was good.
Check in was easy.

The heating went off at 10.30. it was chilly as a draught blew through the old windows. and not enough curtain covering to keep it warm. Just old office type vertical blinds. Which were not very good from a privacy point of view. No lamps in the living room so we sat under LED lights. And why not put wall lamps in the bedroom?..we had to climb over the bed to turn off the lights. The bathroom has a tiny cloakroom sink. Husband had to shave and wash in the kitchen. The apartment also needs a refurb. Paint work is dirty in places. The floor also needed a good sweep and clean. There is no parking in apartment 3 which was not made clear when we booked but I believe this has now been rectified after bringing it to the attention of the management team.

The kitchen/seating area had very small, uncomfortable seating. I was expecting the pictured accommodation but was severely disappointed in what I was met with. The building that the apartment was in was not obvious at all. The directions were incorrect. When questioning staff, they were unable to help. The third member of staff did acknowledge the directions were wrong and helped. The building was shabby and smelt of damp. I did not stay & made alternative hotel arrangements. I did not receive a refund. I was told that because the apartment was clean, that a refund was not an option. Overall a very stressful experience.

Flat was clean, tidy and generally very comfortable. There was a large fan in the main bedroom which was amazing as it was a very hot weekend. Could have done with one in the twin room as well though. Beds were comfortable.
Excellent location, close to the city and easy to get back to the A10 and ring road.
Biggest plus was the parking spot as there isn't much space to park on the surrounding roads so having an allocated space made life much easier.

The road it's on is quite noisy, only an issue in the living room as it's in the front. Not an issue for the bedrooms as they are in rear of the property.
Also not the best sofa but only an issue if you are spending a lot of time in the actual flat.

clean,well positioned

constant concern on parking which appeared on booking to be avialable.at the back. there were what appeared to be 2 spaces for our house which had 6 or so appts. One was permanently used the other was free so we used it luckily without interruption especially as my wife is somewhat disabled. On booking it said on street parking was 10 mins away which is a heck of a distance away plus knowing Norwich I doubt whether spaces would have been available. The situation should be absolutely clear on booking.
There was no toilet roll and the shower needs re tightening as it is not firmly fixed to the wall. The tiling on the front steps is in bad repair and loose tiles are becoming dangerously slippy. Finally as we left the Fire Hazard alarm was continually going off. A resident in Apartment 1 was trying to resolve but we also left a message with your office.

The location is good. The staff is very kind.

Although it was very clean, the dusty/musty smell was noticeable. I am allergic to dust, so it was kind of uncomfortable my staying in the place. The bedroom blinds does not shut completely, thus some light was filtered.

Great location and comfortable facilities. Local amenities really close by. City centre is not far away if you fancy a walk or you can take the bus (runs every 15 minutes) bus stop is across from the property. Would certainly stay again.

Good value, well-positioned apartment. We have previously stayed in a larger one upstairs but only needed a small one this time. The apartments have been refurbished to a generally high standard but see below. The 25 bus stop is just across the road.

The whole building really needs new windows. The existing ones are the originals, single-glazed, frames not in great condition, and only one opened in our apartment. We were comfortable in mild February weather, but very hot or very cold spells could be uncomfortable.
The bedroom in Apartment 3 has very bright ceiling lights with the switch in the living room. It needs a pair of reading lights, possibly just small LEDs on goose-necks. The bed takes up almost the whole room - not a problem for us but one person has to climb across.

Parking arrangements or lack there of could have been cleared in the ad. I think SOME of the apartments have an allocated space. Mine didn't, although I was able to park in the "alley" for all but one of the nights.

The beds were lovely and it was so good to be able to have a warm bath in the evening. The flat was very clean and very well organised and it was great to have a carpark at the rear of the property. As I had lived on York Street for more than 22 years, the location was also absolutely perfect too. The bus stop being just opposite was so handy as were all the pubs, take-aways and Tesco express. A big thank you!

It was a shame that the windows were a bit old and so, not very ecofriendly.

The property was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Just a shame regarding parking

The advert said parking, we read the reviews and it stated that parking available.
On payment we received a email to say parking availability was at a nearby road 10 minutes away.
Their was no parking as the roads all had parking zones or 30 minute parking and no return.

Contacted the number provided and was told once again parking was available but you had to look for it.
The particular apartment we picked did not have allocated parking

The property was very clean. However, the kettle or cooker didn't work, so difficult to make a hot drink.

The apartment was on the top floor and there was no lift in the building, it made my family very inconvenient as I was travelling with elderly. It would be helpful to my stay if the host could tell which floor of the apartment is located during the booking process.

We had a guest arriving for a family event and wanted her to stay near our house. This was the best flat available near us.

Our guest was elderly. Nowhere in the booking did it state that the flat would be on the ground floor. This made our guest feel a bit unsafe as people can look in to the flat's kitchen. Furthermore, there is a staircase leading to the bedroom which is quite steep. Quite tasking for an elderly guest.
Another point was the building entrance, you have to enter a code to enter but there's no light. We found ourselves fiddling with the phone lights etc. Not nice, especially when it's raining.

I couldn't find the clotheshorse or hairdryer in the designated storage. 3 days in I found th clotheshorse under the bed but never found the hairdryer
I would suggest that an inventory be taken of the basics be taken of the room confirming the equipment is where it should be.

It was our second time staying in these apartments, this one was bigger than our last one, which we preferred. It's a very nice flat in a great location.

No fans are provided, so the flat was sweltering in the heat. Furthermore, the hist was not communicative in the slightest. I messaged them on our first night asking where the switch for the oven is located as none of the ones we could see/find worked. They never got back to me.
They also never told us that builders/workers would be starting on the windows of the bedroom on the morning of our checkout. We got woken up by loud scraping outside the bedroom, of which the windows were wide open due to the heat.
It's a shame, as we might not book here again.

Not enough cups/mugs for 4 people staying. Bathroom could have been a little cleaner for the price.

The location was great within walking distance of city centre and booked because of that and the parking.

The apartment is much needing tlc and decorating and could have been cleaner. The crockery needs renewed as chipped and that and the cutlery should be checked for cleanliness prior to guest arrival. The bath and tiles require attention and resealing.

Lovely flat in a great location - easy to walk into central Norwich, lots of buses and plenty of shops, pubs and takeaways. The parking space is invaluable.
It’s on a busy road so can get a bit noisy on weekend nights but we loved being in the midst of it - very buzzy and lovely.
The flat is comfortable and well-furnished, and had pretty much everything we needed. Storage space slightly limited in one bedroom but it didn’t matter too much. Really enjoyed our stay.

We booked for 4 adults. 4 beds made up but only 2 sets of towels, 2 mugs and 3 cereal bowls. Phoned management company next morning - spoke to a very helpful lady. Towels, mugs and bowls were delivered within 2 hours. Excellent service but shouldn't have had to ask.

Excellent location. Great apartment. Nice bedrooms, comfortable bed. Clean linen. Roomy living area. Great having shops and pubs so close. A comfortable walk into the city.

The toilet wasn't as clean as it could have been. The bathroom basin had a blocked drain and we had to buy a drain clearing product to fix it. There were chippies and other food scraps under the sofa cushions. When I got the brush and shovel out of the kitchen cupboard to sweep up crumbs, the brush was so dirty and covered in hair it made me heave. I left the brush and shovel out when we left and suggested it be thrown away and replaced.

The flat was in the location we like and was quiet as we were at the back of the building. It was very clean with loo paper & washing up stuff provided and marvelously a nice long shower mat 😊. We did have a minor problem which was sorted out very quickly be email - stellar service. We would definitely book again if it is available

Had a bit of difficulty with the cooker as it was electric & we are used to gas so an instruction manual would have been handy. 5he blinds were awkward to handle but a couple of emails sorted it quick smart.

Heart sank on arrival, the entrances were unkempt and unwelcoming. The carpets were dirty and stained. The paintwork, walls and woodwork, were cracked, flaking, scuffed and dirty; the whole place needs a repaint. The blinds were dirty and greasy. Curtain poles hanging off the walls and curtains thin and dirty. Bathroom tiles mouldy. Twin room no bedside table or lamp as shown in the photo. Sitting room furniture battered and stained. The kitchen was tiny with basic equipment. No welcome pack. The oven was dirty & none of the 4 hobs could rise to the challenge of cooking pasta with kettle boiled water. Cups in cupboard were dirty.

This property was tiny , the pictures make it look spacious it certainly is not that !! All areas of this property are tired , mould in the bathroom, dirty kitchen . Dusty dirty skirting boards bubbled vinyl flooring not reaching the skirting boards . The sofa was so marked and stained we didn’t even sit on it !!!!

The grill thermostat didn't appear to be working; the light was on in the oven but the element didn't heat up.

Lovely flat in an excellent location - ideal with plenty of really good local amenities and just a short stroll to Norwich city centre highlights.
Parking for car was invaluable.

A spacious apartment located near to pubs, restaurants and grocery stores. Bus stops on the same block. It’s a short walk to the city centre, and a medium walk or shot bus ride to UEA. The kitchen is well-equipped. Staff is very helpful.

The wifi was very slow sometimes. The room was not very clean when we got it. Some of the kitchen equipment is old and worn.

excellent location and lovely spacious apartment for my adult daughter and myself. We were only a twenty minute walk from the City centre and able to use little local shops very close by. The apartment was warm and complete with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. It was very good to have a car parking space at the apartment.

The apartment is lovely - bright, spacious and comfortable. It’s a 15-20 min walk into town so well-located and great that it has its own parking spot. Although on a busy road, the bedrooms are at the back so it’s nice and quiet at night. There’s a Co op, Tesco Express, newsagent and takeaways just a minute away. I had to ring for info on how to get in on arrival and the phone was answered straight away and I received the help I needed. The apartment is at the top of the building so there are about 30 stairs to climb. Would definitely recommend and would be very happy to stay there again.

The first reason to pick this property is the location, which is good for the centre of town, and near to a bunch of restaurants and pubs as well as handy amenities like the local co-op. The designated parking space is also a major plus.
In terms of practicalities: the bedrooms are on the back of the property so nice and quiet, the shower functions well with decent water pressure, there is a small but functional kitchen including all the basics and some items you don't always get such as chopsticks, a french press and a tea towel (really appreciated that hand soap was available on arrival as well - not everyone thinks of this)! Wifi works throughout the flat and was fast enough for us to stream Netflix, and the remote check in process was clear and easy.
It's not a boutique hotel or a 5* luxury experience, but if you want something convenient, practical and stress free, I would recommend this property 100%

Do not stay if you’re disabled and pack lightly as you have to climb quite a few floors, take your own toiletries, coffee, soap, toilet roll, etc as you will struggle to find any of these on offer.
I wouldn’t really stay here again for a nice get away, more somewhere to rest your head and are out of luck elsewhere.

Perfect stay for 4 adults, 6 nights, over the Christmas period. Hosts were easy to contact, quick to address any questions (even dropped off some extra fresh towels on Christmas Eve) and check in and out was a breeze. Good location to wander into town and explore lovely Norwich.

Delightful stay. Perfect apartment if your coming to Norwich, close to the city, with shops and restaurants nearby. The Apartment itself was really cool, very clean and nicely decorated. Response rate and service was exceptional. Exactly what I wanted, would certainly recommend!

Per accedere all’appartamen si deve salire per una scala stretta e un po’ ripida, non adatta al trasporto di bagagli ingombranti e pesanti , anche l’appartamento è su più livelli.

I’ve been there for three weeks with three other people and I can only recommend this appartment. It‘s very good located and there are some nice pubs and restaurants near the accommodation. It was a pleasure.

Great little place to stay for a weekend in Norwich. Clean and tidy with very well equipped kitchen. The parking space is a real plus point. Some really good places to eat and drink nearby along Unthank Road and just a short walk into the city centre.

The images bear no resemblance to the current state of the Apt.
We booked two nights and travelled from Devon left after one. We would have checked out on the evening we arrived but unfortunately, we were unable to find another Hotel.
The whole place is absolutely filthy and has a very strange smell which we think came from the carpets which were absolutely filthy and badly fitted.
The bathroom was disgusting and had the following problems:
1. Mould and drip stains on the walls and Velux above the shower. The extractor fan doesn't work and clearly hasn't for some time. Images provided.
2. Black hairs in the shower and on the door. Images provided.
3. The sink and surrounding walls were filthy. Images provided.
4. The Shower tray and surround were rotted out on one side. Images provided.
All the skirting boards were disgusting and had obviously never been wiped or cleaned and this also goes for the walls which had marks all over them.
One of the towels had bird muck on it!
We did contact the host the following day and made everything clear.
We have numerous images of the dirt and mould, hairs in the shower, dirty carpets and also of the bird muck on the towel. I am more than happy to share these with anyone.
We have asked for a refund and did provide photos but we have been refused on the grounds that we didn't contact them on arrival! How on earth we could do this so late and resolve the matter is beyond me.
After the ridiculous response from these people, I will be taking further action and I truly hope the whole place was steam cleaned before the next guest's arrived!
I don't want to ruin anyone's business but customer service and satisfaction should be a top priority and this case it clearly isn't. Even when presented with images of the mould and bird muck on the towel these people still refused to refund us. Do you think they would accept this if they were staying in a Hotel? I think not.
I find it incredible that reviewers are unable to upload images on Airbnb and it seems to me that most people would be scared to leave negative feedback for fear of receiving the same back.

Such a lovely apartment & perfectly situated. Great place to stay if you want to be within walking distance of the city centre. Loved the style of the apartment and fell in love with the sofa. We had a lovely time. Just bare in mind that there are some low, sloped ceilings and a fair amount of stairs. Would highly recommend!

This is a well equipped flat. Everything you might need was there but lots of stairs to top floor.
Good location for getting into the city centre about 15/20 min walk. Parking good , and essential as Norwich is very busy and parking in town is not easy.
Plenty of cafes/shops nearby for essentials.
Also easy to drive out to the Broads or the coast from here.
Host was prompt to respond with details for arrival etc.

We loved staying here: the flat is in a great location with pubs, shops, everything you could need nearby. It's a pleasant 15/20 minute walk into the centre.
The flat was well equipped, light and airy and a pleasure to spend. couple of days in.

We stayed in this flat while we were in Norwich for our daughter's graduation at the university. It was perfect for what we wanted and in an excellent location with great shops and places to eat nearby. The parking space at the back of the property is very handy too.
The furnishings and interior are of a very high quality, and it is a very pleasant and relaxing place to stay.

We had a nice time staying at Sascha's appartment in Norwich. It's in a quiet neighbourhood with shops and restaurants close by. Sascha was very responsive and answered quickly. The only negative point was that there wad only one toilet paper roll for 3 days and 4 people so we had to get some ;) but overall we had a fantastic stay and I would recommand staying at this appartment.

It was a good location for the UEA Sport Park or heading into town. The local shops were handy and the Farmhouse Pub just up the road was lovely- good food. We had everything we needed and all slept well. There are a lot of stairs but the flat is great. All the appliances are good quality and the shower was hot. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone!

Lovely spacious apartment. We had a great weekend stay here, just a short walk into the city centre, perfect location.
I left some items of clothes in the appartment and they were posted to me and arrived the next morning, Sascha was a fantastic host and responded quickly to any messages. Would highly reccomend and plan to stay again.

Bright and clean second floor flat but not suitable if you struggle with stairs. Everything you need for a short break is provided including towels. Sascha was an excellent host, providing lots of information prior to arrival and access was exactly as he said although getting into the car parking space was a bit tight. Great location for the city with everything within easy walking distance. Thanks Sascha!

Pre visit our service was excellent with prompt responses to our enquiries, on arrival the flat was very clean and tidy. Great location and minutes from Warwick St Social (Superb food and gin BTW). I was in Norwich for Business and was lucky to find this apartment. The property is stylish and comfortable and has been furnished to a high standard throughout. A good size living room, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen made it a home from home for me. It is situated in a popular area with coffee shops and restaurants on your doorstep and a Tesco within 5 minutes walk. Highly recommend this apartment for any Business travellers. I very much enjoyed my visit and hope to stay again soon.

I stayed in Sascha's flat with my girlfriend for three nights, and we loved the flat. It's cosy, characterful, has some great restaurants/pubs right on the doorstep, and is only a short walk into town. Having a designated, private parking space round the back was also a big plus for us. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Norwich.

We had a 2 night stay. I can thoroughly recommend it . The flat was a good size and was really well furnished and presented . Sascha communicated well prior and during our stay .
The flat was located opposite ships, cafe and bars . It was a 15 minute walk in to Norwich . Simply brilliant !!

The flat is beautifully presented and the layout is great. We went to the pub across the road for a cocktail and sat outside in the sun, very relaxing. We also walked to The Earlham Arms one evening for a meal, nice food. We didn't walk to the centre/shops but you would be able to from the flat. The flat is very accessible and a good base to visit The Broads, Great Yarmouth etc. Parking is fine. Make sure you make a note of all the door locks!!!!

Sascha' apartment was perfect for our weekend in Norwich. A comfortable 20 minute walk into the city centre, there is a lovely coffee shop, takeaway, pub and restaurants opposite the apartment should you need. The apartment block was smart and felt safe despite being a busy area.
The kitchen was well equipped and the bedding and towels were lovely and fresh.
We appreciated the designated parking- just be careful if you have a big car- it's a tight squeeze!
