We enjoyed our stay at Tysie cottage and it was in a good central location along the North Norfolk Coast. The allocated parking out the front was very handy. Having Salthouse to walk along to was great and we highly recommend the Dun Cow pub and Cookies seafood. Also the Salthouse village store was well stocked with lovely cake and bread. Some aspects of Tysie Cottage could do with a deep clean - there is brown limescale under the rim of the toilet - very noticeable when sat in the bath!! The shower pressure is very low and difficult to wash your hair under. Would also of been nice to have a cafetière to use and a basic welcome pack such as milk on arrival. The photos and other reviews are a little miss leading. We were expecting to be the house at the front over looking the salt marsh - but the view was blocked from all but the 2nd bedroom window. The outdoor space is also very dark & tiny - not somewhere you would want to sit out. It never gets the sun.

We had a wonderful stay in Salthouse. The house was spotlessly clean and well presented, and the communication from the host was clear and comprehensive. The area is absolutely beautiful. A birders paradise combined with a wonderful collection of villages that have enormous charm. The house was a stones throw from the start of the nature reserve and beach and had a pub and shop a very short walk, both providing great food and drink. We thouroughly recommend!

We had a fantastic few days staying here. The location was perfect and so was the house with gorgeous views out to sea. It is close to lots of gorgeous villages, beaches and towns. I could walk to the beach from the house with an early morning cuppa to take in the ocean. There was a lovely pub and seafood shack selling delicious fresh crab just 5 minutes walk away. The house was lovely, it had everything we needed and it was very clean and easy to find. We will definitely be back.
