The cottage was beautiful. It had lovely decorations and was spotless. There was everything and more in the cottage that we needed including bits for my dog.
The area was just what we wanted, with lovely walks especially to the beach. It was perfectly situated to be close to so many places.
The host was helpful with lots of information both before and during our stay.

The location was perfect. The beds really comfortable and there was everything we needed there. Stylish and rustic decor.

There was a strange smell from the storage cupboard where the cleaning stuff was kept. Couldn't find the source.

We had a lovely week in Nicholson Cottage. The accommodation was very well equipped. The walled garden was great for our cocker spaniel. The beds were very comfortable. Lovely walks and beaches nearby. Also lots of good places to eat.

Amazing modern property. Close to the beach and pub. Very chilled.We really enjoyed our holiday ! Big bonus for being dog friendly. Amazing garden with many butterflies! Beds very big ! Bathroom and living room are done beautifully. Positively suprised with milk, eggs and other essentials left for us when we arrived.

No shop nearby - you need to drive to tesco in other village. Could have extra frying pan in the kitchen and some knifes were not sharp. Unfortunately for the first couple of days someone was doing some renovations outside which meant we couldn't open windows or sit in the garden as it was quite loud

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming Norfolk cottage! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and pub. The cottage itself was cozy, spotless, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were incredibly comfortable. Garden was a lovely spot for morning coffee.

Nicholson’s cottage makes a great base from which to explore north Norfolk. Happisburgh is a little gem if you want unspoilt tranquility and miles of golden sand. You might have to drive to the nearest supermarket and farm shop (go find the Wagyu self-serve farm shop nearby) but the fresh fish shop, village store and great pub are all within 15 minutes walk.

Beautiful cosy cottage with everything thought of by the hosts for a relaxing break. Fabulous beach within walking distance, friendly local pub serving great food, lots to see around the area, the Broads, Cromer, Norwich and lots of lovely villages. This was our second stay at the cottage and it won’t be our last!

Nicholson Cottage makes an ideal base if you want a beautiful sandy beach within a 10 minute walk. The cottage itself is really comfortable with friendly neighbours. Plenty of great attractions are within an easy drive and there is something for every member of the family.

Great stay, in a beautiful place, we really enjoyed it. Unfortunately the beds were not made up correctly when we arrived, and I was not able to resolve the issue until the next day. But other than that everything was spot on.

We had a wonderful few days staying at this cottage. It was spotless, and beautifully designed. Lots of lovely touches, like a basket full of things for the dog. Very private, quiet and pretty location.

Absolutely every attention to detail was thought of. Welcome basket and doggie blankets, bowls etc a lovely surprise. Huge comfortable bed, shower was fab, toiletries supplied. Very pretty secure courtyard garden. Great location for exploring the area.

The one level cottage is totally gorgeous, the high ceiling means that it feels very spacious.
The ramp to the beach is currently closed which is useful to know, we found a way down that the locals use so make sure you ask as otherwise it’s a short drive.

Great place, great setting and a great location! We have just spent a fabulous week at Nicholson Cottage, in total comfort, with everything we needed and more. The property and surroundings are all very dog friendly. We enjoyed the short walk to Happisburgh beach along the coastal path (often via the pub, The Hill House Inn). And although we enjoyed trips out, we were always pleased to get back to Happisburgh, it really is lovely location. We will be back!

Very lovely cottage with a very pretty garden. Beautiful rural location near coast and village. Everything was comfortable and cottage well equipped. Clear instruction booklet. We enjoyed our stay.
