Newly refurbished for 2021, Mallard Annex is one of five charming self-catering apartments at The Eiders. Located just outside West Runton and only a couple of miles from the beach, it’s a perfect spot for a peaceful North Norfolk escape. With access to a shared on-site outdoor pool, fire pit, and gardens, it offers a truly relaxing setting. Mallard Annex features a spacious bedroom, comfortably sleeping up to two guests.
The kitchenette, located at the entrance, includes a kettle, toaster, microwave oven, two hobs, fridge, and sink.
A large bathroom with a rainfall shower is situated just off the kitchen.
Set within two acres of beautifully maintained gardens and woodlands, the property also offers access to a solar-heated outdoor pool (open from 17th May to the end of September), with seating and sun loungers available. There’s also a shared garden with a fire pit seating area for relaxing.

We had a great stay at The Mallard Suite. Fab, modern, clean, it felt very covid friendly. “Studio room” and bathroom were larger than expected, kitchen was snug but workable with little stove and two rings and fridge. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen too. Good parking and shared outdoor gardens with seating and bbq. Bistro table and chairs directly outside the suite. Pool area was nice, again, bigger than it looked on the pictures with comfy chairs and beds around. It’s on a main road but with windows closed there is no noise at all. Highly recommended.

- If the guest cancels fewer than 30 days in advance, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
