A comfortable stay in a good location

The apartment is well located and very spacious - we booked last minute and the price was significant for a weeks stay. Our issue was with cleanliness. The area directly outside the flat was dirty and hadn’t been swept and there were cigarette butts on windowsill where key box is. Inside, the floor throughout was dirty - fortunately there was a brush and dustpan so we could sweep through. Other surfaces were also grubby - table top & shower edges. Bed linen & towels were clean. We reported the cleanliness issue straight away so hopefully it will be addressed.

I booked this property for a colleague undertaking some local work. All went very smoothly and the space was lovely. Instructions were clear and communication straightforward. We'd happily book again.

We had a fairly pleasant stay here, the location was a pleasant 20 min walk into the town centre and the parking was a great bonus. However the property smelt considerably in the kitchen and bathroom of smoke and other substances (we suspect this was due to neighbours) and needs some maintenance. We did not like that the bathroom door is glass and only half frosted, does not give for much privacy. Fairly good value for money as the property was very spacious.

As visitors from the States, visiting my husband's mother, we found the location to be perfect for our visit – it was easy access Norwich City Center and the train station 🇬🇧 The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive to ensure our stay was comfortable, providing us with all the amenities we needed. We found our evenings relaxing and cozy. 🛋️ We highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a home away from home. 🗝️❤️

The apartment is located directly above an Indian takeaway, parking space is located at the rear of the takeaway which is only big enough for a small car, access is also at the rear which didn't feel nice coming and going, once inside apartment is OK as shown in the pictures but did have to clean crockery and cutlery on arrival as was left dirty and no washing machine which was as advertised but we stayed for 5 weeks and Norfolk holiday properties never offered to change bedding or towels for us so be prepared to go to the laundrett

This flat was very convenient for the centre of town, off-road parking was a big bonus. I had everything I needed here, there is a café and corner shop within 2 minutes of the flat. The host was very helpful and responsive.

We loved the size of the flat and the location, easy walking and driving distance from the main sights in Norwich. Lots of space and a well-equipped kitchen. When we arrived, and unfortunately throughout our stay, the front side of the flat did often smell of smoke which was rather unpleasant. Not the fault of the owners as it was coming from next door, but not ideal for us as I’m asthmatic. There was also a constant puddle on the landing outside the front door of the flat which was impossible to avoid, meaning we always came in with wet shoes. Other than those things (and the shower being on the weak side), we had a lovely stay and would recommend the flat for a short stay in Norwich. Hopefully the owners can do something about the neighbors smoking - they were very responsive and apologetic about the situation.

This is a great property, just round the corner from Norwich station and an easy walk to the town centre. The living room is spacious, with nice big windows that mean the room is bright even on a winter morning. There's a helpful pack in the kitchen with washing-up sponge etc (plus tea in the cupboard), but you'll need to bring your own shower gel/shampoo for the bathroom. We had a great time, and would happily stay here again if we were in the area.

This was a nice, comfy and clean place. It was literally 5 minutes from the station and really close to the river for a nice walk into town. The downside is that it overlooks a main road, including the bedroom, so if you are a light sleeper you might get woken up by traffic or people talking loudly.

Light and spacious South facing flat with bay window view of the castle. Good bed and bedding. Excellent Indian takeaway below with no odours or noise to disturb. Easy walk to the city centre with many restaurants nearby. Single glazed windows mean some traffic noise. The parking space is useful but very tight (VW Golf overhung the pavement a bit). Had a great visit and would stay there again.

Lovely flat with all the facilities one could need. It may be awkward for some with mobility problems as its on the first floor with need to use an external fire escape staircase.

The flat is located very conveniently to the train station and many shops within 10 minutes walk. Many restaurants, pubs, and grocery options. I found the flat very clean and easy to access. easy access to the river walk was fantastic.

Host provided good instructions on how to find the apartment and general information. The apartment was a nice, clean place to stay. Prepared for the heatwave when we stayed, which was very hot and the flat is above a takeaway store; The host however provided a fan without knowledge, but thank you for this as it was very helpful. Very close to train station (if you have no car) and a good walking distance to shops and local pub, also the local bus stop, which I would say is about a 5 minutes ride to the city centre. But if prefer to walk - 15 to 20 minutes to the city.

This was our experience – when we arrived, I had to clean the hob, microwave and fridge as there was food deposits over all of them (pictures on request) I found myself with a deep sense of disgust. I spoke to the manager and he said they had been having problems with the cleaners and he would get back to me. He did when I prompted him around two weeks later. He apologised. If it was me, I think I would have done something better than sorry you had to clean up after the last guests, make sure it doesn’t happen again. But, Norfolk Properties are ok because they got paid anyway so no skin off their nose. The apartment is above the Ocean Curry shop. Every time a driver left with a delivery the door banged so hard the apartment shook and it was loud. After a couple of hours of this I went downstairs and very politely asked them to stop the door from banging. They smiled and said ‘of course’. It didn’t stop. And, for good measure they banged it really hard 3 times when they left. They were closed the next 2 nights for Christmas. When I was unpacking the car across the road there were two very gaunt men and four policemen searching them. During the stay, I was concerned about the health of the woman next door. Her cough sounded like she had TB. But then the smell of cigarettes wafting through our apartment made me think that it was a smoker’s cough. And we could clearly hear her laughing intermittently so guessed she was ok. We had traveled down from Scotland, had already stayed in two properties and were then off on holiday abroad. We were down to see family and were just using the apartment as a base. We were tired and just could not be bothered arguing , trying to find somewhere else at Christmas and moving so we decided to just put up and shut up for an easy life. And we have all been there haven’t we. We just put up with it because its easier than the alternative…. But we shouldn’t have to when paying £100 a night. So, that was our less than lovely Christmas experience. I won’t stay in the area again. I won’t stay in any apartment run by Norfolk Properties again. I would say that my usual experience with Airbnb is stellar and my reviews have been 95% positive.

The flat was exceptionally comfortable and clean. It was only a couple of minutes to the train station by foot, so the location was perfect. I have no complaints -- the entire stay was smooth and enjoyable.

Great self-contained flat, which was perfect for my week working in Norwich. Lovely and warm with timed central heating - great for getting up in the morning! Comfortable bed and excellent amenities; including hot and powerful shower. To have a full working kitchen was an added bonus. Wifi was a little temperamental when I first arrived but it was promptly sorted by quick and easy communication with host. Check in was very simple and convenient. Little noisy at night as on a main road but only 2 minutes walk from the station which was extremely advantageous with heavy bags! Highly recommend staying here :) thank you Sascha for your hospitality!
