Located in Wells-next-the-Sea, The Nest is a snug and welcoming spot perfect for couples exploring Wells and the Norfolk area. It features a comfortable bedroom with an ensuite, a compact kitchenette, and outdoor seating to enjoy the fresh air. Just a 10-minute walk from Wells Quay, you’ll be close to an array of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, and ice cream parlours.

The space

The Nest is a cosy one-bedroom annex with a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom (with shower and W/C), and a small kitchenette just outside the bedroom.

The kitchenette includes a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and kitchenware.

The bedroom also features a table for two and a flat-screen TV with a DVD player. High-speed Wi-Fi is available.

Guests have their own private entrance, allowing flexible arrival and departure times. The entrance opens onto a shared hallway occasionally used by the artist owner to access their studio, while The Nest’s private accommodation is upstairs.

Outside, there’s a table and chairs for relaxing on summer evenings, and a sheltered parking spot in the carport is provided.

The apartment is in a quiet location and ideal for a couple. It's bright and clean with a reasonable sized bedroom and ensuite bathroom, but a fairly cosy, though perfectly adequate, kitchen. It's a short walk to the harbour front and the many good restaurants in Wells. The apartment provided us with a great base from which to enjoy cycling and walking along the coast in both directions. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Hosts Peter and Linda made us feel very welcome on arrival and were available whenever we required anything. The self contained annex called the Nest is attached to their beautiful property (called The Barn). The description details the property well. There is a lovely garden space. There is ample parking within their grounds and although the double gates aren’t locked at night they are shut and parking felt safe and secure. There is a pub 30 second walk away which is homely, friendly and serves great pub grub! I have spent many years visiting Wells and this is a perfectly situated spot for visitors who wish to stroll round Wells or jump on the Coastliner bus to all of the costal local towns and villages. Highly recommended this location!

Great location within a few minutes walk of the quay. Perfect stay for couples/single travellers with somewhere to park or easy access to Coasthopper bus. Very pretty location and lovely hosts with plenty of tips. Quiet and peaceful and very comfortable. A great little find for an impromptu weekend trip.

Lovely place to stay in Wells. Close to local pubs and a short walk from the quay. Recommend the globe inn for an evening meal and the Wells Deli for for breakfast/lunch.

We have stayed in Wells many times over the years and was delighted to find this accommodation. It is perfect for a couple, close to restaurants and the quay/ shops. Having a parking space was an extra bonus. You only have a microwave and toaster as cooking equipment but we only had breakfast in the room and was happy to eat out. There is a fridge and plenty of crockery / utensils so we had all we needed for our stay. Nice comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom, it was nice and warm too. We will definitely book here next time.

A great property which was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed, simple kitchenette with all the utensils that were needed, spacious bathroom with shower that was a delight to use and friendly, welcoming hosts. You are on one of the main thoroughfares through Wells so during the day you do have some traffic noise (we were out most of the days we visited). Great to have off street parking and just a short walk through the Church to get to the town centre. We would recommend 'The Nest' and would visit again.

A quaint little bolthole in a fantastic location. Close to shops, restaurants and a wonderful harbour. Everything was within walking distance. Whilst small, the rental had everything needed for a short stay. Parking was excellent. Comfortable mattress and a really good folder full of information and local walks. Definitely will stay here again.

Thank you for a wonderful weekend stay: the property was as per the description and squeaky clean on our arrival. Lovely place to stay for a quick get away . Hosts were very friendly and happy to help. Don’t expect too much if you want to watch tv in the evening!!!! You’re in rural Norfolk !! A constant tv signal is a bonus . All in all we were very pleased with our choice of Airbnb .

The Nest is a wonderful spot on the beautiful Norfolk coast. The hosts have thought of all the necessities, while leaving the place feeling clear and calm. The hosts were available and friendly. Wells-Next-the-Sea is a quaint spot, full of good restaurants, along beautiful coastline. We did a one-day birding tour which filled the day and we had the Nest to return to. Perfect!

Good points: Very comfy bed, good location, place was very clean and tidy, good location for local amenities. Bad points: There is no kitchen (just a toaster, microwave and kettle at the top of the stairs), as the place was advertised as having a kitchen I would have expected at the very least to have an oven and hob particularly when paying £145 per night! The blind for the roof light is very thin and so the room was very bright early morning (we stayed over at the end of July)

The Nest is the perfect place for a few nights away on the Norfolk coast. It is in a great location and very peaceful. The owners are very friendly as are their 2 x Labradors. The room is lovely with lovely decor. Wells is my favourite place and there is plenty to do - beautiful walks and lots of lovely places to eat. The perfect chilled start to a new year!

Third visit at The Nest and it never disappoints. Everything you need and just a short walk down to The Quay. The Edinburgh Inn is just minutes down the road and it’s always worth eating at Ollie’s. The Nest has always been spotlessly clean and tidy and there’s always a warm welcome. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could. Will certainly rebook. Thank you!

Just returning after a long weekend staying in the nest in Wells next to the Sea. A wonderful find. The nest was warm, cosy and really comfortable and clean. Owners were friendly and gave good advice on places to visit. Two lovely friendly black labs that were always happy to see us. Undercover off street parking. Less than 10 mins walk down to the quay with lovely walks and quaint shops and places to eat. Would highly recommend and we definitely hope to go back. Only one regret is that we didn’t get the chance to have a look around the owners art gallery below the nest so definitely on the list for next time.

A comfortable bed and lovely shower. The labradors are a welcoming addition and when we bumped into the couple in the main home they were friendly and gave us some good recommendations. Only watch out would be the road next to the property can be a little busy and therefore noisy when you have the windows open overnight.

This space and its hosts are as charming as Wells-next-the-Sea itself. The space adjoins a large garden (flying the flag of Norfolk) with space to safely park a car. This is the perfect base of a short weekend trip to enjoy the excellent food, produce, craft and surrounds. The space is well kept, clean and functional; the listing is an accurate portrayal.

We were very happy with our stay at the Nest. The booking and check-in processes were seamless and the hosts were friendly. The property was clean and well located. We were given very helpful tips for the local area. Some of our highlights included Holkham Hall (saw lots of deer), Holkham and Wells beaches, Alpaca Trekking (a 2-minute walk from this property), The Hero (expensive pub, but good food in the lovely Burnham Overy Staithe area, Beans Seal Trips (we didn't see too many seals on this occasion, but was still worthwhile) and French's Fish Shop (in Wells).

Lovely space in a great location for exploring Wells and the surrounding areas. The Nest is a nice, private extension to a family house. Stayed in peak summer when the traffic was quite loud from the main road with windows open if you’re a light sleeper, but quietened down by 11-12pm. Overall though would recommend staying here.

Very conveniently placed for shops,cafes ,pubs and bonus of safe ,off-road parking . Nice view out of side window over the church. Due to COVID would suggest prebooking your evening meals at The Crown or The Globe before leaving home .Bang in Wells Cafe great for breakfast ,lunch or afternoon tea .On nice evening , sit outside and have a drink at the Bowling Green pub with nice view over the church .

Warm, cosy and cute! The perfect location for a weekend away in Wells. You can walk to every pub, fish & chip shop and bakery that Wells has to offer (I speak from experience!). The Nest was a welcome warmth from Storm Ciara, a cosy little room with a comfy (although slightly noisy) bed. Everything was spotlessly clean and cannot be faulted. Great location, lovely clean apartment. Instructions for access not to clear as past the pub is another turning, took us a while to locate and makesure it was the location before we drobe on someone else's property. Take some ear plugs as the road is noisey, mattress was a bit springy too. But was very clean and great amenities! Just small suggestions to help make it a lovely stay for future guests! The Nest is a small self contained apartment with a very clean en-suite w.c and shower room. Bedding is provided as well as some basic toiletries. There are tea/coffee making facilities and a toaster plus a microwave/grill/oven in a small kitchen area with cutlery and crockery for two people. A dining table and chairs are in the room along with a tv with integrated dvd player. There is parking on site which is rare in Wells. The Nest is about a 10 minute walk to the centre of the town and Quay. The beach is a good 15-20 minus walk from the town but in summer a minature train runs every 15 minutes. Peter and Linda are lovely hosts and have lots of tips and recommendations for places to visit and eat.

My partner and I stayed here for a few nights over the new year period and had a great time. Really good location, only a 10 minute walk from the harbour, and a great pub just a few doors down. Hosts were very accommodating and friendly, and the 2 family dogs on the property were an added bonus for us :). Overall we highly recommend a stay here.

Great place just 5 minutes walk to town centre. Small but well thought out kitchen area and a great base for a couple of days relaxing in the North Norfolk area. House owner (its a joined but independent entry/exit annex to the main house) was very welcoming and friendly - great stuff. Would stay again.
