Great location with good bus links to get around places you may want to visit
Well equipped kitchen
Nice and clean rooms

The check out is by 11 am but we had a message an evening before that we have to leave by 10 which was confusing.

The house was very clean light and airy and nicely decorated throughout. Good position with access to the beach and town.

No parking. Was told just before the visit that the wood burner was out of action, which is a main feature in the winter. The check out time was 11.00 am in the guest information and was told 10.00 am just before. The house is lovely and was ideal while the pub adjoining the property was not busy, but would not be as pleasant in the summer. There were no mirrors in the bedrooms so difficult for hair drying.

Our stay place at Olde Place Cottage was fantastic. We had a wonderful week in Rottingdean and the cottage was just what we needed. It was clean, very comfortable and stylish. The location was outstanding being central in Rottingdean and only a few minutes walk from the beach. You can also walk up into the hills within 15 minutes and only a 4 mile walk along the lowercliff into Brighton.
We highly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to stay near Brighton for a relaxing week away.
