Great location, up a little hill but walkable. Airbnb was all good with nice view, radiator in the bedroom wasn’t very strong but had plugin radiators provided. Only issue is they provided one roll of toilet lapsed so had to buy more. All round nice place, good price and responsive host :)

Overall, the stay was ok! There were a few damaged things in the house, a few inconveniences, and a bit dirty. Just needs a little maintenance as its probably an old building. Host was very communicative and its in a lovely area. Steep hill to get to but everything is within walking distance.

Very comfortable accommodation (big crush on the bathroom), very nice and typical English residential area, we love it! Host quite responsive overall! Simple small downside for our departure, asking to vacate the accommodation before 10 a.m. when it was indicated at the time of booking 11 a.m. On the other hand, it is impossible to park nearby, parking in the city is very difficult to find when you stay several days. The only ones available are very expensive... and I regret that the host did not give us a good deal as was the case with others. So plan ahead if you're going by car. Overall we had a good time in the very functional accommodation, I recommend it!

We were really happy with the location, it was a lovely walk into the centre, which made exploring very easy. However, there were a few issues that let the stay down. The listing advertised parking nearby for £6 a day, but this turned out to be inaccurate - the nearest option was actually a 15-minute walk away and cost £24 per day, which was frustrating and added a lot to our trip. We were three guests, but no bedding was prepared for the sofa bed. We did eventually find duvets and pillows, but no sheets at all for the third guest. When we messaged the hosts, they suggested it might be under the bed or in the wardrobe but that wasn’t the case, and in fact, there wasn’t even a wardrobe in the property. Their replies felt generic, as if they were managing lots of properties rather than being familiar with this one. On top of that, only two towels were provided for three guests, which made things inconvenient.

All in all we had a good stay , the area is nice and a bit away from the busy part of the city which we enjoyed. Two things we didn’t like that much: First the kitchen utensils were much used and not in the best condition. Especially the French press & the strainer (noodles) were broken. Either throw them away or buy new ones! Also we stayed as a group of three and used the sofa as a bed. We can not recommend this as you can only sleep on one side of the couch otherwise you fall of as the sofa tilts. Also the middle of the sofa was pressing through and sleeping on this was hurtful. Otherwise the apartment was clean and had a beautiful view.

Had a great stay at the apartment. It is a lovely space with great amenities. It’s slightly far out of Brighton city centre but only about a 25 min walk. There is an amazing view over Brighton from the apartment. It was slightly dirty when we arrived but nothing unmanageable. The lack of mirrors was slightly inconvenient. But other than that it was a lovely flat to stay in for a few nights.

The flat is very well positioned and quiet it needs a bit of maintenance but the company that runs it let me down as the incorrect keys left fir me to get in. An out of hours security company had to help me as no reoly from company. I was waiting outside for an hour. No blackout curtains too as advertised.

The home is wonderful, a cosy stay with such charm. The floorboards sound boards sound when you move, which adds character to the building. Nicely decorated Keep an eye on parking. Whilst it is about a 15min walk uphill from the beach, the view from the home in the evening makes up for it. Great team and customer support

Overall, it did what it said on the tin but not much beyond that. If staying longer, a small microwave would be good and more wine glasses etc. The WiFi was un discoverable but not really an issue for a short stay. Communication and ease to locate/enter the property was seamless. A good solid 3/5 stars.

Lovely house and area, only issue was the WiFi didn’t connect and even after contacting the owner the other WiFi also didn’t connect. The living room and kitchen area were slightly dirty with crumbs and stains on the sofa and table.

Nice place , decoration was very nice and comfortable bed . It was about 1 mile from the sea front , however the 15-20 min walk in was great as you walked past lots of shops , pubs , restaurants and entertainment

The host never sent us the code for the lockbox! We arrived in front of the listing at the scheduled time but did not receive anything on Airbnb or via message. Despite my reminders and calls (unanswered) Dale never sent us the code. We peeked outside for 1:30 waiting for a response with our two 3 and 1 year old children... That's unacceptable! We had to call on Airbnb support who canceled our reservation and we had to struggle to find a new apartment by the end of the day, much more expensive than the planned budget... We are disgusted and really don't recommend it.

I really liked my stay at Dale's airbnb. The house is cosy, beautiful and as someone who travelled alone it made me feel safe and at home. Only had a problem with the water faucet in the kitchen each was constantly running. When i was sitting in the living room watching something it was a little annoying. I sent a message to Dale as soon as i got to the airbnb to report this problem. Aside from this i had an wonderful experience. The place is very quiet and i felt safe in the area. It doesn't have alot of restaurants and stores around but its a very short walk to the lanes and the city center.

Our stay was pleasant. We really enjoyed this vintage and cozy apartment on a hill with a stunning view of the city. The apartment was warm, and during storms, when strong winds blew, we sometimes used the heater. The apartment has everything necessary for a long stay. We lived there for a full month and didn’t need any additional household appliances. The photos of the apartment are honest. These are not modern apartments, but that didn’t bother us—in fact, we liked the vintage, old-fashioned style of the English house. However, the kitchen area is very well-equipped and stylish. The bathroom is huge, with an excellent shower. The only thing I missed was a mirror. The one in the bathroom is very dark, and it was inconvenient to use.

The bed and bedding, kitchen and furniture were great. Water pressure and hot water temperature was excellent. The rest of the property was a bit tired looking but very typical of the Brighton area. The property had great views. We knew in advance that the property had a very tight staircase to the bedroom from the pictures. The property was at such an elevation as to require 7 flights of public stairs (the better part of 80 stairs), of which we were aware mostly because we were familiar with the area. The public stairs were very close to the property. Proximity to the railway station was a £6-£8 uber, which certainly helped with the elevation and luggage.

a fantastic location. the walk up the hill can be a bit tiring if you have a child or carrying bits but soo worth it for the view. we watched a storm in the distance. The apartment was clean and modern. everything you need is walking distance. highly recommend.

Just stayed at this apartment for a week, on the whole it was a pleasant stay. The views are indeed fantastic and the location is great. There were also some nice touches like the origami towels and toilet paper. Check in was not ideal as the key was not available in the lock box, which took some time to resolve. The bath tub, oven and freezer need cleaning. But overall, it was a nice stay in a cute apartment

Great first time in Brighton, walking distance from the centre and seafront. At most 35 minutes walk. Close by is the ‘open market’, parks, pubs and foody places. Some steep streets locally including the road it’s situated on but this helps the views! Only negative is the parking has changed it’s rules and now restricts you to 4hours of parking in the area. If you’re driving you are best to use apps to book parking. Clean, great size, practical and good vibes

Great place looked exactly as described but does need a little TLC, I struggled to shut the front door as the handle was needed some work to it (could see the internal bolt). My boyfriend had to slam it shut, only other thing is they still had a light summer duvet on bed so was rather cold on night one! Other than than great walking distance to amenities, quiet area, very peaceful and great facilities within property. Just like I said needs some tlc.

It was a nice and cozy place to stay. Was a bit dusty on the less easy places to clean. Furniture and cutlery could need a replacement (couch and bed were saggy, knifes were blunt). We had electricity issues for almost a day, although it was resolved it took a long time to get it fixed. Overall a fine stay, just could have been better.

The flat was generally spacious, comfortable and quiet. Although the location was a bit of a trek from the centre of town, it was well served with excellent bus routes. I felt that the decor could have done with a refresh: the carpets looked old and worn and the paintwork on the stairs and on the bedroom floor was very scuffed. The plumbing was also noisy - but then one almost expects that in an older house. Unfortunately, the kitchen facility was cramped and not very well equipped. There was no storage space for the groceries I bought; no bread bin; no coasters or place mats; no draining board or washing up rack. Also, the bathroom had no plug for the washbasin and in the bedroom, the curtains were mismatched and of different sizes and shades. These are smallish details but at £125 a night, one expects such things to be in place. Even so, I enjoyed my stay and particularly appreciated the quiet and peaceful environment.

Our stay in Brighton was ok. The area is quiet as it is away from the city centre. The streets seem a bit shady and dirty, but all ok. The apartment itself is lovely but a bit dirty. The floors didn’t seem vacuumed, some of the kitchen equipment was still dirty.

Nice place and fine for a short stay. We found it easily enough - it was about a 15/20 minute walk from Brighton train station. Great views from the apartment. It was mostly clean (a few cobwebs throughout) and stylish but as a few other reviews say, it feels a bit tired now and probably needs a bit of TLC throughout. No complaints about the host - great communication throughout.

This is a great place to stay in Brighton. The apartment itself is very spacious and the bathroom is great. I would say that it could do with a few more kitchen utensils (bigger bowl and also oven proof dish etc), but overall great and fair price for Brighton considering the space you have, the great view, the convenient location, and the amazing bath and shower!

Really nice clean quirky art’y place. Easy to find, but then I am from Brighton originally. Jessica (Airhost) was extremely helpful and checked on us to make sure everything was okay. Would recommend, but only for two, three was a bit of a squeeze. But that was more our own issue than the apartment’s. Loving view of where I grew up. All round happy with the whole experience.

The host spammed me with 2 or 3 messages a day, reminding me of fines to pay for bad behaviour. The property itself hasn't been properly cleaned in years and things like toilet seat were broken, lightbulbs missing, etc didn't make us feel at home. Overall the attitude of the host made me feel like chattel, simply to caugh up cash while the repair standard was extremely low for the price. Not worth staying here. I will avoid airhosts completely in the future.

Great location & well equipped. On a easy bus route to the city centre and marina. One suggestion; the place needs more mirrors, only one in the whole place. The bathroom mirror was poorly lit, so was unable to do my make up there.

Stayed for an entire month. Flat was in great condition, very well decorated, and extremely enjoyable to stay in. View from the flat is very enjoyable. Location is great as there's tons of nice places around such as the open market, a lot of pubs & restaurants, and the north laine is reachable within around 10m on foot. Finally the hosts were extremely responsive, professional and friendly. We had some issues with one of the heaters not working and we had a handyman come the same day to take a look at it. We were definitely sad to leave the flat, and will definitely be back.

The apartment was easy to find and at check in and we had very good communication from Airhost. On our first night we had a problem with the heating and Airhost tried to help us resolve the problem as temperature of apartment was around 17 degrees. Airhost we’re unable to get hold of owner that evening however owner came with thermostat the next morning which seemed to resolve the problem. The apartment was in walking distance of laines as described and location accurate. We got a JustPark space nearby to park our car. The living and kitchen area are really nice and modern with amazing view. Bathroom and bedroom are not as new and require some upkeep. There are a couple of improvements listed on previous reviews that haven’t been implemented and we feel would be good changes (mirror in bedroom and the flooring in bedroom looked at).

We were very happy with the apartment. The location was great and we used the bus system to get around Brighton. The bathroom and kitchen were very pleasant and we enjoyed having a TV with freeview, it kept us entertained enough! There's a few big grocery stores nearby (a 10-minute-walk or so) and plenty of Just Eat restaurants nearby if you're feeling lazy. We had a very good base for exploring Brighton for the first time. However: The street of the AirBnB has permit-only parking between 9AM-8PM, so check-in was a little stressful as we had to quickly unload our things into the apartment and then find a parking space. The nearest one was £20 per 24 hours as the one described in the booklet was not there anymore. We also did not have the correct WiFi information for 3 days, the host was a little slow in giving us the right information. We also missed a few things like oven mittens and a decent tea towel.

Easy to access the property. Bed was super comfortable and shower was great. Living room was a good, comfortable space for relaxing and watching TV. Walk into town is reasonable. A little uphill on the way back. Parking at the end of the street is useful and costs about £7.40 for the day (best to download and use the app). The stairs and landing carpet were extremely stained. This is despite the insistance of no shoes and no sign of pets to be left by the property managers. Some scuffed walls and generally needs a touch-up. There is a nail sticking out of wooden flooring at the end of the bed that could have resulted in injury. Shower head was unclean. Also, before and during my stay I was receiving continual messages from the hosts.

We had a lovely stay at this AirBnb. It instantly felt like home with everything easily accessible. The bus stop is nearby to get into the city. The place had all utilities which was great to give it that extra homey feeling. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
