The space
Situated on a beautiful street in the centre of town, the location of this pretty Victorian townhouse is absolutely fantastic - everything on offer across the city can be reached on foot: stroll to the beach, shops, theatre, Brighton Pier, restaurants, the train station etc.Set over 4 floors, there is plenty of room for guests to space themselves out!
Enter on the ground floor into the living / dining room with a comfy sofa, leather occasional chair and dining table that seats up to 8. This directly links to the fully equipped, contemporary kitchen, which also has a breakfast table that's perfect for 2. There is plenty of cookware, cutlery, glassware and crockery so you can cook up a brunch or dinner for friends and family. We also provide tea, coffee, sugar and cooking basics. From here you can access the private courtyard with a table and chairs - perfect for grabbing a coffee in the sun or eating lunch with friends.
Head downstairs to the 'snug', or second living space. Here you'll find a couple of small sofas so you can lounge around and watch TV, if you wish.
Up on the first floor, you'll find the contemporary bathroom with bath, sink, WC and separate shower cubicle. Next to this is an additional WC. Plenty of guest toiletries are provided.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed and wardrobe for all of your belongings. Head up the stairs to 2 further bedrooms - one has a king-size bed and the other has a small double. Plenty of fresh bed linen and towels are provided for all guests.
The house is positioned on a quiet street in the North Laine area of Brighton, famous for its vibrant feel, independent shops and quirky cafes. It's a great place to stroll around, grab a coffee and observe Brighton life. From here you can walk to the beach within 10 minutes and you can easily access Brighton train station, too.

Just got back from 4 days at this property. We were my parents (in their 70's) and a couple with teen kids in town for a wedding. Overall we found the house met our needs for our time in Brighton. Pro's: The location is brilliant - close to the station, in the Lanes for shopping (teens loved it!), everything is walkable and there are some great places to eat/drink close by. It makes life very easy. The house is generally well equipped. We cooked in 1 night and managed fine. Bedrooms are comfortable, enough pillows for everyone, fans available in the rooms. Plenty of hot water for everyone to shower. Con's: the basement does smell a bit musty. We were busy the whole time so didn't use it but worth noting. The outdoor space is messy but if cleaned up, it would be a nice spot. * We used the car park at Sainsbury's via Just Park. It's a 7 min walk. Overall we found the property to work for exactly what we needed and allowed us to have a brilliant few days in Brighton.

Beautiful house (our 2nd time staying). Very clean. Great location for the lanes BUT the floorboards!!! Creaked with a small amount of movement. Which was tricky with 4 young people on a different time zone to us olders. We all missed a lot of 💤. The bedroom next to the bathroom, is a hazard where the end slat sticks out more than the others (I have medicinal created thin skin, and had huge bruises from this). The snug smelt strongly of damp 3 years ago - it’s marginally better not even my teenagers wanted to spend long down there

The location is great. Short walking distance to North Laine and the Lanes. The house is nice, tidy but a bit dusty in places. The basement room had quite a musty smell so we didn’t use that. The kitchen is ok equipped for making a lighter meal. The lock to get into the house is very fiddly and we didn’t feel safe to to leave the house without getting locked out at first. There was also a misunderstanding about the checkout time that needs to be sorted. Other than that we had a good stay.
