The accommodation is so peaceful with beautiful interior, the bedrooms & bathrooms are a lovely size but the living room & kitchen is far too small for 4 adults. Only a sofa & single chair so 1 person had to sit on a dining table chair. Only 2 chairs at the table so couldn’t sit together to eat, 2 people had to sit on the sofa . I love dogs I have a springer & we had a visit 2 evenings from a beautiful cocker which was ball obsessed & wanted us to throw the ball for hours . The 2nd night she came round & chewed a big football which was better than having to entertain with a ball then sat with us wanting attention. At midnight we shut the door & she sat crying outside to be let back in, we were so upset & worried about where she slept at night I don’t let my dog out of my sight never mind for hours on end.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 We had a wonderful stay at The Stables in Yarm! The accommodation was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. It felt peaceful and private, with beautiful views of the northern countryside yet conveniently close to Yarm’s lovely high street with its great cafes and shops The host was friendly, responsive, and was quick to respond to queries - every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the cosy bed to the well-equipped kitchen. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a charming location.

Myself and my partner has a fantastic stay at The Stables. From check in to check out everything was easy. The accommodation was stunning and the views amazing. Everything listed was provided and we had absolutely everything we could’ve needed. The hot tub was a lovely extra to the trip which is a lovely feature within the property. The only issue we had was a problem with hot water that was fixed immediately the host was extremely helpful and responsive in this instance, we could not have asked for more. We would highly recommend this property for a peaceful and relaxing get away with the option of activities should you wish.

We stayed at the stables for 2 nights for relaxation & that’s what we got. The private entrance was easy with a code for the gate & the parking was ample and private. Once we retrieved the key at the door & entered the building we was greeted with a nice fragrant smell inside. The rooms were decent size with enough clothes storage for hanging & the en-suite was a good size with a quality shower. The kitchen was very accommodating plenty of space and utensils with the open plan living area. The outside space was tranquil & peaceful with no road noise or neighbours overlooking. The hot tub was nice & hot which we used first which was private and still able to admire the rolling fields. We did have issue with connecting the Bluetooth to the tub as the volume was very low and we messaged the host about how to increase the volume but never got a reply throughout our stay. The living room lightbulbs were not working & the bifold doors from there wouldn’t open but overall I’d come back again.

Absolutely loved staying here. Wanted to book again for October half term but was pipped to the post. Location was lovely. We loved watching the 2 horses play in the field. Close to Yarm town centre and enjoyed looking around the local shops and even came back come with some furniture from Cloud Cookoo. The accommodation was everything and more, better than the photos! Hot tub was lovely and warm and a warm welcome when we had some drizzle. I would 100% recommend staying here! Looking forward to booking again.

Good spot. The directions could be clearer. The main gate for owners house and the place to stay are both green and next to each other and have the same access code. Bit of an oversight and safety issue there. The bathroom showers are not the best either…it cant keep up with the shower and will overflow. I had to mop up the bathroom. But the kitchen, bedrooms, sitting area, garden, tub were really clean and good. Happy with those.

I booked this as a surprise get away for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was everything we could’ve dreamed of. We fell in love with the place and the grounds instantly. Super clean and the interior was amazing and unique. The hot tub was perfect. We spent a lot of time in there on a night and first thing in the morning with a cup of tea. The speakers in the bathrooms and outside were a fantastic touch. We will definitely be staying here again in the future and we already cannot wait. The perfect home away from home for 2 nights.

What a wonderful hidden gem! We booked to enjoy a girls weekend away for a ‘relaxing’ hen weekend and it was fabulous. The peaceful surroundings enjoyed whilst in the hot tub and catching up on the patio area was wonderful. Everything was as described, super clean and we really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend the Stables to anyone looking for a getaway in a place that someone really has put a lot of time and effort into building and looking after and making sure guests really enjoy. Thank you and I think all of us will be back!

The place was amazing, very clean and the scenery was beautiful. Would definitely stay again. The only faults were the speakers not working and if check in was earlier so we could spend the day there and get the full 2 nights.

The home was really nice, the big garden and hot tub particularly stood out but the whole place was very nice. I do think for 4 adults there could be a little bit more room and also the ceiling window above one of the beds is not ideal as the room was very light in the early mornings, but generally very happy with this place and would stay again.

True test of a host is how they deal with any issues that arise. Unfortunately although listing states towels included we had none! Mistakes happen but issue wasn't resolved or even acknowledged. Just said 'we don't provide extra towels' which was a confusing respobse as we only had a tea towel for a family of 4. There was a junk room that had had the key left accidently so we found 1 towel and a bath robe made do with these. Property is beautiful and clean with gorgeous views so can't say I wouldn't recommend but host's response to missing towels was poor.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Travelled as a group of four! (Two couples). Originally booked for 2 days but managed to extend our stay for an extra day. The place is so clean and decorated lovely. Underfloor heating kept us warm during our stay and beds were really comfortable. We really enjoyed the hot tub and peaceful atmosphere. Would definitely like to return to this place, maybe in the summer time.

Had a lovely birthday weekend recently at The Stables. The bedrooms and bedding were fantastic as was all the decor with lovely personal touch of art decor throughout. The bathrooms had huge walk in showers and a wow factor. Very impressive from the minute you walk in. The kitchen is well enough equipped, just lacking an oven glove and a few more tea towels for a multiple night stay. There are a number of glasses, potentially the glass selection could do with a re vamp. There were odd numbers. Our only thought was the lounge area had only one sofa to seat 3 at the most and a chair. A larger sofa or additional two seater would have been more comfy for socialising as we were sat shoulder to shoulder. The outside area would be lovely in summer but due to the weather we didn’t use it, however we had a dip in the hot tub which was great but could do with a side screen for privacy and wind shelter. These are only minor points and would certainly go back and recommend here. Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at the Stables. The property exceeded our expectations which were very high based on the photos before we visited. Hot tub adds that extra bit of luxury/novelty that you need in a getaway. Great views out the property and Yarm itself is very charming. Can't fault it, would highly recommend and we will hopefully be booking again at some point in the future.

From making the booking to checking out everything ran perfectly. It was definitely a ‘Wow’ moment when we arrived . The place is stunning and has everything you need. The host has thought about every little detail. We staryed for 2 nights and enjoyed the local area too (Polar express, Preston Partk Museum & W2 World buffet restaurant- all around 20/30 minutes drive). The hot tub was lovely, relaxing with gorgeous views. Cannot recommend this place enough … We would love to visit again !!

Me and the girls celebrated a couple of birthdays at the stables. Amazing and peaceful had the perfect weekend. Hot tub was a lovely touch. Only fault we had was trying to get into the property we had to ring the number provided because we didn’t know the code to open the main gate to get the car in. Perhaps we missed it? Apart from that absolutely perfect!

The Stables exceeded expectations. It’s full of character and very beautiful. Charlie helped us with hot tub and checked in to see if we were okay. The interior of the rooms is stunning and the quality of everything was superb. We will definitely be coming again! Yarn is beautiful and this place was amazing. Perfect for a relaxing getaway!

A beautiful and well presented lodge which was well equipped and had lots of great features. It feels really homely and cosy inside. The beds were really comfortable and the place was always kept nice and warm, even the floor with the underfloor heating. The location is on a secure site with coded access which meant our car and motorbike were safe all day and night. We really loved the place and we would definitely be interested in booking again!

a gorgeous home with lots of quirky touches .. very peaceful and quiet., although didn't realise we would be sharing the grounds with a small gym opposite, a group of children using whilst we were in the hot tub . the hot tub was lovely except it had too much chlorine in and made everyone eyes sting ! but all the facilities you need for a weekend stay .Underfloor heating was a plus too.. The only negative is the expensive cleaning cost.. as when we arrived there was cans around the hot tub. washing still in the washing machine, rubbish left in bin and crumbs down side of sofa..especially since the housekeepers were waiting for us to vacate the property a good 30 mins before checkout, a bit off-putting, I also think the damage deposit of 500 pound Is a bit steep , never had to pay anything like this in any other property I've booked over the years, overall fabulous property and we enjoyed our stay .. the drive into Yarm is worth a visit,a quaint little area. coffee shops,restaurants

We are a family of four with two young children (3 and 1) and we all had the most amazing stay here. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and felt like a luxurious home from home stay. The photos don’t do this place justice it truly is a beautiful property and the owners have put a lot of thought into the accommodation with lots of added luxuries such as underfloor heating, hot tub, Sonos speakers etc. there was also plenty of garden space for our two dogs to roam freely! We all had a wonderful time and can’t wait to book again! Thank you!

We had a brilliant stay at The Stables. As a family of 4, it was great. The accommodation and grounds were of a really high standard. Beautiful fixtures and fittings. The owner clearly has taken a lot of time and money to design and fit out the property. The only thing we would say and it wasn’t a huge problem or issue was the cleanliness and attention to small details. In every other air b&b we have stayed in, there was a welcome basket with the essentials- milk sugar etc. we arrived late afternoon on a Sunday and all the shops were closed so that would have been really helpful. The hot tub hadn’t been cleaned after the last visitors. The bbq was covered in green mould and the property could have been cleaned better and there was things broken that could have easily been fixed before our arrival. When the owner has spent so much money making the property what it is, it just felt that was the only areas that was lacking. We would definitely return.

Absolutely fantastic stay really enjoyed our stay. Only thing is beds are small a king and double. Plenty room for super kings in both rooms. If staying with friends second bedroom is accessed through main bedroom unless you go outside and back in again. If you have kids would be sharing a small double. All in all very good. Very well finished

Beautiful rooms, loved the bathrooms and bedroom and kitchen/lounge area. The hot tub was warm and ready to get it which was great (Bluetooth speakers didn’t work on it but just used phones in the end) Enough kitchenware and utensils to cook meals, I contacted them about pans that needed replacing and Host & Stay apologised and said they would sort replacement for future guests. Took a minute to figure out getting out as the gates aren’t automatically opening when you go to drive out and there was no outside blue bin to the right of the property as mentioned but again quickly responded to when queried. Lovely peaceful getaway for wife’s 40th birthday and the hot tub was the highlight.

We had the best weekend at the Stables, beautiful property and amazing views. The property looks exactly like the pictures, and we loved using the speakers in and outdoors. Everything you could need for a home away from home. Peaceful back garden views, with lots of wildlife. We enjoyed watching the horses, birds and even spotting a wild rabbit. Pictures for this place don’t do it justice - bigger than it looks & quality is brilliant. It’s a really nice place. Feels so private and concealed. Location is great if you are happy to drive. If you are there to fully relax and unwind this is perfect. Can’t walk to the local town but there are walks along the river. Close enough to go to Durham which we did & to the beach. All in all great stay!

The place was really easy to find with very clear instructions how to enter the property. It’s amazing when you walk in, very clean with all the amenities you will need. The bed is super comfy with smart TVs in each room. The hot tub is amazing! You can easily connect to Bluetooth to play music, lots of space and it feels very private. The town isn’t far at all and has cafes restaurants and takeaways that you can order from. Overall I would highly recommend this place. Really lovely area, feels private and very comfortable for a trip away.

Lovely hidden gem! I had a feeling I had found a good listing and oh boy it didn’t disappoint. The location is just a few minutes drive from shops and local amenities, and the property itself has everything you could need - plenty space for food shopping if you’re self catering, ample space for relaxation and much more! I’ll definitely be on the lookout for this venue going forward because it was perfect! Massive shout out to the team at Stay as well. They were super helpful and responsive, and the handbook sent to us (as well as emails) equipped us with everything we needed for a really smooth and seamless experience.
