A lovely place to stay. The hot tub being ready to use was a fantastic bonus at the end of the day. The host was very kind, leaving milk, fresh water in the fridge, and biscuits for tea. The house is comfortable and well located for exploring the local surroundings and coastline.

excellent accomodation, perfect central location, we had 5 adults 2 children and 3 dogs between us and this house accommodated us all beautifully. clean, well presented, nice layout the only thing I could ask for extra was handsoap and washing up liquid!

Very comfortable and modern , well prepared and spacious house in a quiet residential area with a nice park adjacent. The tennis rackets, basketball and bucket and spades that the hosts provide are very welcome too. Recommended accommodation if staying near Hartlepool and Seaton Carew beach is only 5 mins walk away and miles of golden sand.

A brilliant house, very clean, well organised, full of all essentials and utensils that you could possibly need, extremely spacious and location for 4 adults and a dog was fabulous right next to a large park / playing field /tennis courts and 5 minute walk to the seafront. The location felt very safe. The rear garden was secure for our dog and the adults all enjoyed the extremely large, clean hot tub ! sofas and beds were all comfy and bed linen was clean and fresh. This house had everything we needed and would definitely recommend and stay here again.

What a perfect home and host. The house was exactly as described, with a lovely, dog safe, outside space in which to enjoy the sunny weather, overlooking the park. The host was amazing, welcoming, friendly and helpful, who went the extra mile by supplying (amongst other things) tea/coffee/hot choc, milk and cakes on arrival, which was perfect after our long drive. There were lots of towels, which surprisingly not many hosts supply and extras like sports equipment, e.g. tennis racquets and footballs which added to the fun! Oh and did I mention the hot tub!? Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend this property.

Excellent property, super clean and just like the photos. Everything you could need in terms of kitchenware etc. Hot tub was lush Super friendly and helpful host. 5 mins from the beach. Would definitely come back!

The property was nice and tidy, location was quiet with well kept green areas. One minus was the hot tub seemed to be leaking water so had to be refilled regularly by the owner. Also temperature regulation was difficult to synchronise and at times the water was lukewarm.

The house is spacious and clean. Close to the beach which is very long and a good walk for the dogs. The accommodation had everything we needed, very well equipped with spacious garden front and back. Tennis/basketball courts literally next to the property and big open parks nearby. Hot tub is a great addition. Communication superb offering an online visitors guide which tells you everything you need to know. Check in/out easy and simple.

We have a fabulous stay, the house was perfect for our long weekend break, fantastic for the dogs, so close to the park and beach. Lots to see and do. Neighbours very welcoming. Big spacious rooms and downstairs was great for socialising. The hot tub was super clean. Nice touches we had milk on arrival and treats for the dogs.

Stonehaven was above and beyond our expectations. It’s tasteful, modern and immaculate interior looks as though its been done by a professional. Our host left us wanting for nothing, fluffy new towels, plenty of loo roll, tv’s in our rooms,a welcome hamper and even spices and essential condiments to name but a few . We would certainly give it a first class rating and go back in a heartbeat.

I made the booking for our employees who were assisting with the project in nearby port. they couldn't have been happier with the place - nice, comfortable and clean. Hot-tub added the extra cherry on the top :-)

Nice property and location. WARNING - you have to take out a damage waiver policy with an external company (superhog) before the host will allow check in. 2 options; they hold £250 on a card for a £10 admin fee, or £25 fee for £500 of protection. My reading of the small print was any damage above these values and superhog deem you liable and will chase you for the balance. We didn't have any damage issue so do not know what happens if there is a problem but did have to pay the fee.

Lovely house with everything you could possibly need and only a hop skip and a jump to the beach. The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of a busy day too, the only problem being that we didnt want to get out again! My grandaughter loved the house so much she says she is going to live there forever when she's older......enough said!

A great house in a nice location. Close to the beach and the park and tennis courts are great for the kids. Hot tub was plenty big enough for 4 and host communication was second to none. We stayed in the middle of two major storms and still managed to have a relaxing stay.

Fantastic location, huge house with heaps of space, very comfortable beds, lots of lovely touches too from the host. The jacuzzi was also great and felt plenty private! Location wise, it’s a very short walk to the main strip (less than 5 mins) and a 5/10 minute drive to Hartlepool Marina/shops. I’d recommend Larry’s bowling/the arcades nearby, Kitty Bills cocktail bar, and Matteo’s Italians.

This is a great wee house. Very close to the beach and lots of things nearby to do with toddlers. We had a minor issue that the host dealt with and there were lots of really nice little touches that made the place stand out. I would give it 6 stars if I could!

Absolutely spotlessly clean. Decorated beautifully inside. Lovely little touches on inside the property. Suzanne took amazing care of us! 😍 Only slight disappointment is you felt overlooked in the hot tub (despite the curtains) as located in a busy residential area. Having said that, we did have lovely neighbours each side and beyond.

Stonehaven is a lovely house, in a quiet area, with everything you would expect to find in your own home - we have never stayed anywhere with so many towels! Suzanne is a great host and has thought of everything to make her guests stay comfortable. The house is exactly as it appears in the photos with a good sized sitting room with ample seating. The double bedrooms are all large and each has a modern television. There is plenty of room in the kitchen and loads of pans/crockery including a pan that was big enough to cook pasta for all of us. We stayed at Stonehaven with teenaged grandchildren who loved the tennis courts (which are free and don't need to be booked) using the tennis rackets that have been provided for guests to use. The icing on the cake had to be the hot tub which is large enough for 7 people and we were able to make good use of it! The house really is only 5-10 minutes walk to the beach depending on which part of the beach you want to go to. Highly recommended.

Me and my family had an amazing few days at Stonehaven. The house is beautiful and was absolutely spotless upon arrival. The hot tub was a great feature of this Airbnb and all of my family enjoyed using it. It is in an excellent location, with the beach being a 5/10 min walk away and a play park and tennis courts just behind the house. It has two good sized gardens and even has a barbecue. The host was very helpful and sent us a link to a guide for the house and the area. 10/10 would definitely return with my family!

We had a great time at the property and the owner couldn’t not have been nicer. The house was in fantastic condition with a great back garden and the hot tub fit 7 of us comfortably. They also provided tennis equipment to use on the courts out the back which was a really great addition. It is quite a long journey to Newcastle via train but that was our fault for not looking into it ahead of time. The owner does come by 1/2 times a day to clean the hot tub but she was very discreet and respected our privacy which was very much appreciated. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break.
