The space
Situated at the scenic Royal Albert Docks in Liverpool, Chic Townhouse by the Docks exudes character with its newly refurbished interior and Art Deco design. The ground floor is enhanced by striking grey laminate flooring, while the upper floor is fully carpeted, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout.

As you enter the front door, the living room is a welcoming space with a comfortable corner sofa. A flat-screen TV is provided, offering both terrestrial channels and Smart TV features for streaming your favourite apps.

Sharing the living room is the dining area, which comfortably seats your group with a wooden dining table and chairs for all guests, complemented by decorative flowers. The large window adds plenty of light to the space framed by the light interior walls, making the space even more inviting.

This space is also home to the modern kitchen, fully equipped for cooking at home, with a fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave, toaster, and more. A washing machine is also provided for your convenience.

Up one flight of stairs from the front door, you'll find two bedrooms. Both bedrooms include a comfortable bed. Both rooms have windows with views of the neighbourhood and are equipped with storage space for your belongings.

The family bathroom is located on the same floor, featuring a modern design with a bathtub and overhead shower, WC, and wash basin.

The property also features a lovely patio, accessible from the front door, featuring a traditional wooden bistro table and chairs, perfect for a relaxing moment outdoors.

Based on the photographs and location of the place as well as the amount I paid, I was expecting this property to have no issues. Unfortunately, it had plenty and I felt ripped off. 1- bathroom leaks every time you shower and floods water all over the floor 2- car Parking is tricky and not easy to understand the first time you do it as there isn’t any clear guidance; I had to phone a few times to get advice and it was raining after a 10 hour journey 3- stingy on shower gel and soap. Bear in mind this is a two bedroom apartment with the ability to sleep four adults. There were two tiny shower gel sachets for all of us and a tiny bar of soap. 4- locks: the bedroom doors don’t have locks on them and the upstairs bathroom door doesn’t lock 5- stains on the bed cover in the master bedroom

Had a really enjoyable stay. Well positioned to walk everywhere and comfortable enough to all relax in the lounge to unwind before bed. Instructions were clear and had a seamless arrival and departure.

We raised issues during our 3 day stay. We resisted leaving a public review to allow time to respond. Apartment not ‘perfectly prepared’ (your words). Entrance paving slabs loose, one potentially dangerous. No handrail at entrance. All window blinds faulty Living room window wouldn’t open. Kitchen tap loose & drips Limited kitchen equipment for party of 4. Kitchen extractor fan flue doesn’t go anywhere! Major issue when cooking. Had to open front door to let out smoke from oven Downstairs toilet tap loose Shower leaks heavily. Floor flooded. Black mould present Water damage bottom of bathroom door frame. Radiator in bathroom loose Bathroom tape plumbed incorrectly. Tap works in opposite direction Only 1 thin pillow each 2 hand towels between four people 1 hand towel in kitchen no tea towel Dirty throw on one bed Positives: Welcome pack, location. Comfortable lounge Good communication until things went wrong. Ongoing complaint.

It was exactly how described. Beautifully presented and very well equipped. The two parking spaces were definitely a big bonus! Very good comms. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.
