The space
Situated at the scenic Royal Albert Docks in Liverpool, Chic Townhouse by the Docks exudes character with its newly refurbished interior and Art Deco design. The ground floor is enhanced by striking grey laminate flooring, while the upper floor is fully carpeted, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout.

As you enter the front door, the living room is a welcoming space with a comfortable corner sofa. A flat-screen TV is provided, offering both terrestrial channels and Smart TV features for streaming your favourite apps.

Sharing the living room is the dining area, which comfortably seats your group with a wooden dining table and chairs for all guests, complemented by decorative flowers. The large window adds plenty of light to the space framed by the light interior walls, making the space even more inviting.

This space is also home to the modern kitchen, fully equipped for cooking at home, with a fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave, toaster, and more. A washing machine is also provided for your convenience.

Up one flight of stairs from the front door, you'll find two bedrooms. Both bedrooms include a comfortable bed. Both rooms have windows with views of the neighbourhood and are equipped with storage space for your belongings.

The family bathroom is located on the same floor, featuring a modern design with a bathtub and overhead shower, WC, and wash basin.

We had a wonderful stay in Liverpool. The home is well appointed, bright, comfortable and spacious. Walking distance to all the main areas we visited. The Welcome Pack provided was very generous and much appreciated. We also valued the secure parking adjacent to the home. Communications with our host was very clear and timely. We would highly recommend this accomodation and will return to stay when next in Livewrpool.

We couldn’t get the heating to work. There were several phone conversations before the Host and Stay staff agreed to send someone from maintenance to fix it. If the agents knew more about the property they could have told us over the phone how to correct the heating. We had a parking ticket on our windscreen on the first morning even though we were parked in the allotted space. When I contacted Host and Stay they told me to contact the council to appeal the fine. I expected them to be more pro active as they were the ones who told us we had a parking space at the side of the property. We are now waiting to hear back from the council as we have challenged the parking ticket. It wasn’t helpful being told to get on with it ourselves! It was quite noisy at night due to being right by the YHA. The inside of the house was nice, clean and modern but the issues with no heating and then getting a parking ticket left a nasty taste in the mouth. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The apartment was very nice. We were welcomed with snacks and oatmeal that make you feel very welcome. There were also coffee capsules The smell is also very pleasant. The only thing that was a bit awkward was that the plug of the tub got stuck and the water wouldn't go away.
