The space
Set in the grounds of the owner’s home, yet enjoying its privacy, Dovecote View is approximately 11 miles from the beach at Mundesley and 8 miles from the bustling seaside town of Cromer. The single-storey holiday let is also ideally situated for visiting National Trust properties, nature reserves and towns and villages with farmers’ markets and farm shops.Open the door to this well designed retreat to discover the heart of the home is the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Head over to the kitchen to prepare tasty meals or perch at the breakfast bar in the island with a glass of wine before dinner. Gather in the lounge area with your friends and family members to watch the Smart TV. Dine at the table inside on cool days or out on the veranda when it is warm.
Enjoy the convenience of having your bedrooms at the same level: these include a twin and a double, with Jack and Jill access to the family shower room.
Take your coffee out into the sunshine in the morning. Outside you'll find a private, enclosed garden which overlooks horse paddocks.
Guest access
Guests have access to the full property.The keys to Dovecote View are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in.
Private on-site parking is available for one vehicle. Please note that it is a short walk to Dovecote View from the parking area. A second space can also be made available if requested prior to check-in.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Dovecote View per reservation.

The hire property is fabulous, surrounded by a large immaculately maintained enclosed garden. Dovecote View is an extremely nice one level, open plan property, with high quality fittings. The garden is big and securely fenced, it provides good privacy & our little dog loved it! We're particularly picky about finding a holiday let with our dog & Dovecote View for us rated highly, so much so that we will definitely return. Spotlessly clean & extremely comfortable. A warm welcome from Toni who provided us with a little trolley to take our bags the few yards through the sweetest side entrance to our cottage. Big designated parking space. We later met Sue & Andy who are delightful, welcoming but also respectful of privacy. Extremely good information pack, the best I've seen, safety for their guests is definitely priority. A lovely welcome pack was waiting for us, thank you, I've never felt quite so spoilt from a holiday home. Thank you so much, we adored our stay with you 🥰

Lovely friendly hosts but didn’t realise from the listing how close the property is to the hosts house. There is also a passageway along the back of the property used to access the horses. Still secure and people were very lovely but it wasn’t as private as we had hoped. Lovely enclosed garden and property was clean and well maintained. A few basics missing for us such as baking trays. Main bed is quite short, a small double I think and duvets and sheets had a plastic covering to them which took some of the comfort away. Quite a few rules so no paddling pool or bbqs allowed. It was on the more expensive end of what we’ve paid for some so was expecting a bit more. Hosts were lovely though, if you don’t mind being closeby we would recommend but not really suitable if you are after somewhere more private. For us we have an anxious disabled dog so he can bark if he feels anything is nearby hence we try and go for private areas. Pheasants and birds were lovely to watch, as were the horses

The property was perfect and just as the photos showed. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and gave lots of info on places to eat nearby. We had bikes, as we’re doing cycling from the property and they were very safe and hidden. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The hosts Sue, Andy & Toni were very welcoming & friendly - the welcome pack was a nice touch. The accommodation had everything we needed and made for a very pleasant stay. The Dovecote's private garden was really nice to look out on and perfect for our dog Billy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to return when holidaying in the area again, also will highly recommend to friends & family.

Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 full days prior to listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- For a 50% refund of the nightly rate, the guest must cancel 7 full days before the listing's local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email), otherwise no refund will be given. If only 50% of the reservation has been paid, no refund will be issued and the remaining 50% will simply not be charged.
- If the guest cancels less than 7 days in advance or decides to leave early after check-in, the nights not spent are not refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
