Very nice cottage, in quiet location. Had issue with heating which wasn’t warm enough. Had to set manually, also used the fire one night. The fire is simple to work. Berwick, Tweedmouth, Spittal and surrounding areas really lovely. Holy Island a must.

It was good but the garden was unusable and dangerous with broken glass and pergola which was disappointing as was the main reason we booked with having the dog and no offer of a refund.

It was overall my most disappointing stay at an Airbnb unfortunately, and I have been to quite a few. Parts of the property are great; art work, books and lounge area. However my first impression was terrible. Having enter the back garden area through a very difficult gate I was very surprised to see small pieces of broken glass everywhere outside!! My husband and I had to deal with it before bringing our dog in (over an hour later!!). Doing this after a long drive is not what I expect for the price paid. The garden of property has obviously suffered storm or severe weather damage (which would have been weeks ago) but has not been tidied up to a safe standard for pets or children. Two out of the three toilets were dirty. The shower in is ensuite was dirty and contained short hairs. the main bathroom smelt dirty. The beds in the twin room smelt of sweat and finally realised it was one of the duvet inside its cover, yuck. Again not what we would accept for the price paid.

Lovely, well equipped property. Close to Tweedmouth Docks but very quiet. Pleasant walk one way to Bewick and the other to Spittal.

Beautiful and modern with all the necessary conveniences. Plenty of hot water and a very large bath. The living room was also very comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful. I highly recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great accessibility for Holy Island & Bamburgh We did loads of walking - would recommend St Abbs The house was as described comfortable and clean with everything provided and also some lovely shortbread waiting on arrival which went down a treat with a brew after a long drive!

Such a lovely stay! Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Great location, only a 10 minute walk to the centre. The property was lovely, had everything we needed. The host was very helpful, lots of recommendations of what’s available in the area. Thanks again for an incredible stay.

We had a great holiday at Harrow Bothy. The property was well equipped & had everything we needed. Lovely quiet location within walking distance of shops, restaurants and cafes.

Harrow Bothy was a lovely place to stay. Well equipped and a great place to explore the area. Being to just walk over the bridge into Berwick and walk to the beach was ideal. Unfortunately, we arrived there was no hot water or heating and it took almost 2 days to get someone to repair the boiler.

We loved the close proximity to Berwick town, just a lovely short walk over the beautiful bridge. The house was very cosy and we enjoyed the garden. Easy parking on road outside made life easy. Thank you.

A lovely little place, just five minutes' walk from the centre of Berwick-upon-Tweed over the old bridge (look out for the dolphins!). The house was clean and tidy and we had regular communication from the owners. There was a convenience shop, fish and chip shop and two Chinese restaurants around the corner, and an Asda within a few minutes' walk. The house contained all the facilities me and my family needed, and the neighbourhood was quiet. I'll certainly be coming back there for another stay in the future.

The ideal place to stay to explore the area, we were there for some golf a few miles away, but it is a short walk into town to find food and drink. The apartment is great, very clean with nice space and well equipped, wholly recommend.

Lovely accommodation, perfect for a couple nights stay in Berwick upon Tweed. The air bnb is in a good location, easy to walk to the centre of town that has a great selection of eateries. We initially found it difficult to find the accommodation, don’t follow maps! but when rereading the additional hosts instructions found the gate on a second walk along the street. The accommodation is presented well and nicely decorated. However the floors have a number of stains that require some tlc, the bins outside were also full with bottles overflowing onto the floor. Which didn’t give the best first impression.

We had mixed feelings during our stay at the Airbnb in Tweedmouth. The town is quiet, but there isn't much nearby. The takeaways and restaurants leave a lot to be desired, so we decided to head to Alnwick for a better variety of dining options. If your plans are similar to ours and you intend to visit the many attractions, like the castles, the Farne Islands, and other spots in Northumberland, you may find this location less than ideal, as you'll spend a considerable amount of time traveling. In comparison to other Airbnbs we've stayed at, this one had a rather business-like feel. We encountered a couple of dirty towels, found loose hairs on the floor from previous guests, and dealt with a constant beeping from the utility room that we couldn't turn off. Additionally, one evening, one of the neighbours banged on the gate at 10 PM to speak to us while we were trying to settle down for bed.

From a few days before our check in date, Dale was in touch making sure we had all the information we needed for the trip. He always responded quickly and was very helpful. The property was spotless with fresh decor and felt homely with everything you could need and more. Very comfy beds, spacious, squeaky clean bathrooms, well equipped kitchen with an all important coffee machine! I'm just disappointed I didn't have time to use the fabulous big bath! Location for me personally was perfect, a short walk into town and a shorter walk to where my family are. I will be back again!! Very highly recommended.
