We had a lovely stay at Serenity. The property was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated and the setting on the lake was stunning, which made evenings feel so peaceful and relaxing. Location is great for exploring local attractions like Castle Howard. We’d definitely return.

We had the most fantastic stay at Serenity. It was extremely clean and well prepared for our stay; I was pleased to find tea and coffee had been supplied as well as cleaning products and family games. It really helped to make our stay more comforts and manageable with 2 young children. The property and location was beautiful, we enjoyed sitting out watching over the lake at night after busy days exploring the local area and York, itself. We would definitely stay at Serenity again if we ever get the chance to come back again!

Very tight space and definitely not suitable for anyone over 6ft; particularly in shower and bedroom.

The location is absolutely stunning if you don't mind the country roads to get there. Super lovely place to stay, with all you might possibly need gor a short stay.

Lovely location but few things that let it down, for example: Struggled to find the place, ideal if W10 was communicated with description Really strong smell which came from sink Few little maintenance touch ups needed, like a blind in bathroom

We had a lovely stay at serenity. The scenery from the lodge is beautiful and very peaceful. The beds are comfortable and the lodge is described as seen, clean and tidy. They have games etc in the lodge too which is a nice touch. It was very hot when we were there so could have done with an umbrella on the deck, there is a stand there but no umbrella unfortunately. One thing I was disappointed in is it’s advertised as flexible but after booking, when I asked about flexibility they were unable to help me with even a slightly earlier check in or later check out. Check out is at 10am and check in is 4pm so even if other people are staying the night before I do feel that is more than enough time to do a change over. Even getting in an hour earlier would have helped us massively on the day of our arrival. Having said that, the place is very picturesque and many people have asked me about it so I have recommended. I would return as we did have a nice break away :)

A last minute 2 night short break. Booked as we knew the area. Positive Great spot for fishing Nice decking Good quality bedding Good location for touring area Negatives Instructions for caravan location not detailed enough. A map of the site prior to arrival would have been beneficial. A cleaning pack was provided which was not eco friendly as all disposable items, this included dishwasher tablets but no dishwasher. Cutlery poor quality. Cigarette butt outside near ash tray. Shower cubicle very small We had to get patio equipment from under main bed which could be difficult if you have mobility issues. TV in main bedroom blocks mirror. Personally have stayed in other places cheaper with more luxury items.

Lovely park, my partner loved the fishing, absolutely beautiful accommodation, Serenity was the perfect name for this lodge, it is in a serene location and had everything you needed and more, cannot fault it, we will be back x

The lodge is very comfortable with good beds and a great shower. There are plenty of bathroom supplies and generous sized good quality towels. We self catered and the kitchen had everything we required, although we brought our own gas bbq. The best thing about the lodge is its position on the lakeside , which meant watching the ducks and the fish and great sunsets.

Very nice quiet place. Having the lake just off the veranda gave lovely peaceful views. Each plot seems to have its own fishing pitch. The place itself felt homely and open
