A beautifully presented property that I felt right at home in. Tucked away in a very quiet and peaceful courtyard yet just five minutes walk to everything from bars, cafes, shops and pubs. Clean comfy bed and the best bath I've ever had the privilege of using. Very highly recommend!!

Lilac Cottage was a really great find for our stay in Morpeth - easy walk from station - beautiful cottage with everything we wanted. Nice touches like a welcome pack with coffee tea and treats; and very nice choice of high quality toiletries and soaps/handcreams We requested bedding for the sofa bed and this was available on arrival. Really felt so comfortable and welcome straight away. Thanks very much - we will be back

This is one of the most comfortable cottages I have stayed in. Every possible need catered for, human and animal! Lovely selection of biscuits and wine on arrival very welcomed as well as plenty of tea and coffee . Lovely beds and linen and so nice to have two bathrooms with baths! Luxury!! The small garden is delightful for sunny breakfast or evening aperitif before a BBQ. Morpeth is a lovely market town with a great variety of shops and restaurants. We didn’t make full use of the cottage as my son lives on Morpeth but it would be a great place for a peaceful holiday. Excellent internet, free view TV, books galore and plenty of games. Excellent bake house cafe for breakfast and lunch right on the doorstep. We will definitely be back as a great Morpeth/Northumberland base.

This is the best Airbnb that we have stayed in. What a treasure we have found. The location was perfect for accessing beautiful walks and the town centre. The host thought of everything. Beautiful welcoming touches in an immaculate ly clean property. I would highly recommend a stay here. We will definitely be back.

Not a place for families with young children. Cot and high chair were not to be found at the property, despite both being listed as amenities. Host eventually bought a cot (without mattress) and high chair for the property, but only after attempts to get us to go out and buy them ourselves on a Sunday evening - helpful! Be prepared for dog hair on the ground floor. Good location in a nice area. This place is best suited for couples with dogs.

Beautifully furnished house in the center of the super nice Morpeth. All amenities in the house are provided, including extras such as a welcome package, bathing supplies etc. Shops and restaurants can all be reached by foot, super nice location. We found the disadvantage of the treatment. Standard messages with an impersonal feeling and a "check in form" that needed to be filled out but we never received. In the house, various tickets are also distributed through the house that give you certain assignments, which gives you a inhospitable feeling. In addition, not accessible with a large car (1.90 m wide gate), but that was already stated in the description. I had only read about it myself, so it's good to mention here. We also indicated to come with a baby when booking, but there was no crib ready for her or high chair. Fortunately, we also had a bed as a spare. So my tip is to explicitly indicate this in an extra message.

This is a lovely cosy cottage, is warm, spotlessly clean and in a fab location, making it quiet, private but very close to the centre of Morpeth. Parking is a plus point as well. I would happily stay there again!!
