Our stay in Whitby was good. The apartment is located in a holiday house with many Airbnbs in a quiet area. The communication with Host and Stay was smooth and too (?) professional. The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped.

Nice apartment, about 15-20 mins walk into whitby. More or less everything you would need for your stay. Quiet housing estate and apartment block. Worth looking in the welcome pack for information, especially for the short cut route to walk into Whitby

on arrival it became the apartment had not been cleaned rubbish in bins stains on sheets and linen not changed i had to sleep in a sleeping bag and my wife on settee as host was unwilling to give us clean lining at five in afternoon. toilet brush dirty. dust in bedrooms. cleaners came in next day but first impressions had gone by then . been contacting host for compensation or refund since 3 june told me investigation will take 7 to 10 days only yesterday got fobbed of yet again. have all photos to back up my claim absolute shambles

A good location, can access Whitby centre using the Cinder path which is a pleasant walk along the old railway line , quiet and free of cars. The Cinder path also goes inland and the larpol viaduct is a 30 minute walk, stunning views.

The flat was modern and spotless, very quiet and well equipped. Whitby was a great place to visit and the handy location of the flat made it even better. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice peaceful location, had everything you needed, and the hustle and bustle of Whitby was only a 10-15 walk away , and also great location with several other sea side locations not far away 👍

Lovely apartment. Perfect base to explore Whitby and the surroundibg area. There is parking at the property. We will definitely come again, great find.

Only stayed two nights so didn’t really use any of the kitchen facilities as ate out all weekend but the flat was clean, very quiet and suited our needs for a weekend away. A bit further out of town but we are very familiar with Whitby so wasn’t a problem for us. Would definitely book The Sanctuary again.

Had a fabulous time at the Sanctuary, very clean everything as described. Host and stay were great hosts, easy to contact and fast response. The property was in great location, great walks lots of things to do. I would definitely recommend Host and Stay and would use again.

Very clean comfortable and peaceful flat. Would return again. However did communicate some issues with host :- Only supplied one toilet roll and one hand towel for four adults for a four night stay , this is not enough , messaged host who said they would do a delivery this didnot appear asked again and the apologised but didnot rectify the problem. Also didnot supply any bin bags apart from the ones in the bin again this was not enough would be nice to have some spares left in the kitchen.

A wonderful place to stay in Whitby! Spotlessly clean and very comfortable - really well appointed accommodation in a great location for us. Only a 10 minute walk to the harbour which made exploring the local area very easy. We enjoyed staying outside of the centre so that our children could have some down time and the apartment was perfect for this. The free parking space right outside the entrance also made life much easier! Thanks so much!
