This was a fabulous stay! Amazing location close to cartmel and a walk away from local businesses with easy access to the house itself. The property was immaculately clean with nice modern furnishing and the hot tub was an added bonus. Great communication from the hosts. Cannot recommend enough !

Gorgeous house, we visited for a family members birthday and there was something for everyone to enjoy, and feel at home for the weekend. Location is great, tesco express and bargain booze right around the corner (what more do you need!), and only a couple of mins into the middle of town. View of the bay is amazing, would recommend having binoculars to see what birds and wildlife you can spot. Hosts were lovely, very responsive to messages and set up some rooms into twins instead of doubles. There was also a handbook in the kitchen and house website with all info we may need, as well as local recommendations We had a day trip to Cartmel and Holker Hall, both of which were lovely and only 5-10 minute drive away. Would definitely stay again - thank you again for a lovely weekend!

Lovely spacious accommodation with an amazing view, location and nearby shops and lots of positive but some disappointments including problems with hot tub ( perhaps due to water restrictions due to heat ?) and a block bathroom sink ( this was resolved with in 48 hours) Overall tho a great space for a family get together .

Everything was perfect however the only minor thing was the amount of flies that got in through the big windows which ruined the bbq we was having I would suggest a magnetic net which closes after walking through the big and a fly zapper apart from that it was perfect

It is a beautiful house in a stunning location. Every bedroom was large, comfortable and in 3 of them had the most incredible view of the most glorious estuary. We had great weather and sitting outside looking at that view will remain with us always. It was a special event for us as a family to celebrate my Wife's 60th birthday. I would totally recommend this house

The house was easy to find, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained. Each bedroom matched the description perfectly, and we were delighted with how cosy and comfortable the house felt. The view from the garden was breathtaking, peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to relax. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily give the host, the location, and the house a well-deserved 5-star rating. Highly recommended!

This house was absolutely fantastic. We stayed as 14 school friends and partners in our 30s, hiking in the days and enjoying dinners and drinks together in the evenings. The house itself was modern and gorgeous, with ample amenities for that amount of people. We never ran out of mugs, glasses, utensils etc, the property was extremely prepared for the amount of people with multiple ovens, dishwashers and fridge/freezer space. It was lovely to have 14 people able to sit and eat together around the long banquet table, and the view of the Bay was brilliant. We parked 5 cars on the property's private drive without issue, and the hot tub was ready for us upon arrival which could fit 7 adults. I could not recommend this property more if you are looking for a big group trip where you want to really catch up and have plenty of communal space. Thank you Bay View House!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is spacious, modern, and exceptionally well-equipped with everything a family could possibly need. The gardens and surroundings are beautiful, providing a lovely, peaceful environment to unwind. The views over Morecambe Bay are absolutely breathtaking—waking up to that scenery every morning was a highlight of our trip. The property itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly peaceful. It felt like a true home away from home. It's in a fantastic location, close to the train station and within walking distance to local amenities, cafes, and great pubs. Communication with the host was seamless and friendly from start to finish. We made some unforgettable memories here and would definitely book again! Highly recommended.

This is a truly lovely house and is more than capable of welcoming our full family of thirteen - spacious and with plenty of space to spread out, even if the weather is not great. The house was cleaned to a high standard - spotless bathrooms and communal areas. It is fully equipped with plenty of glasses, crockery and cutlery. For a big sit down meal, the two ovens and dishwashers were superb. Overall we were more than happy with our stay and wanted to give Bay View a 5 star review. What stopped this was: - 1. The hot tub leaked and lost half of its contents overnight both mornings. I filled it myself. 2. The balcony from the master bedroom was closed during our stay - the workman was waiting to do the job so hopefully won't affect future stays. It would have been nice to know of this beforehand though. 3. The mattresses were all on the firm/very firm side. That's personal preference. 3. A few very small easy fixes - no oven glove, no small sauce pans (eg for doing a boiled egg etc

The house is beautiful, very spacious over 3 floors, ideal for large party. The downstairs open planned living is ideal, kitchen beautiful large dining table,everyone can be there, with large patio doors looking out onto the patio and hot tub, we were lucky to have sunshine and were able to use the lovely outside furniture. The bedrooms are virtually all en-suite and very spacious. We highly recommended this property and would definitely go again .

We had an amazing stay in Grange-over-Sands — there were 7 of us and the house was perfect. It’s really spacious, so we never felt on top of each other, and it has such an utterly relaxing feel the moment you arrive. Everything was clean, comfortable and well set up for a group stay, with plenty of room to chill out together (and also escape each other when needed… which is important with seven humans ). The hot tub was absolutely fab — a real highlight, especially in the evenings — and the views are genuinely amazing. It’s the kind of place where you end up sitting with a drink just staring outside like you’ve become a thoughtful countryside person. Great location as a base for exploring, and overall we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’d 100% return.

We had an amazing stay here, the house is beautiful. It was immaculate and clean, with everything we needed. Thank you for the welcome hamper! It was a great space for our families to get together without feeling squashed in. Great communal space which accommodated everyone. Hot tub was really lovely, again immaculate and outdoor area all lit at night time. Views are incredible, great location for shops, walks, base for venturing out. We could not fault this beautiful house, left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Thank you so much, we all had the best time and will definitely return.

An absolutely fabulous property! Booked for a family get together and delighted we choose Bay View House. Once inside, the house itself was absolutely perfect for our large group. The open plan downstairs was a brilliant socialable living space whilst the upstairs sitting room was a beautiful bolt hole with fantastic views over the Bay. Our youngest - 4 year old - absolutely adored the surprise mini room. You need to promote that room :-) The house was very well equipped … loved the fact that everything had been designed for large groups - 2 ovens, 2 grills, 2 dishwashers and so on. Our dogs settled well and the boot room provided a great place for feeding them and leaving water out for them without being in the way. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your fab house. Very highly recommended!!

We have stayed in a number of large properties with friends and I have to say this was the best one date. The house comfortably soaked up 10 people and still felt very spacious. The facilities were high end ranging from kitchen appliances, two dishwasher, spotless jacuzzi, garden furniture and BBQ, right down to free Sky sports. The location and view are second to none. It will be hard to find a better place next year for our annual trip.

We would 100% highly recommend this place to big groups of people. It was just as described, was extremely well equipped and modern house with a beautiful view. The hot tub is a great addition as it adds to the experience. Our only tip would be to take some mosquito repellent. We spent a lot of time outside over 4 days and were all bitten.

The location and place was good with hot tub, view from the balcony, garden. Good rooms with bathroom and amenities. But there were some issues we faced during the stay (full freezer not working as we had to throw our items, full fridge not working efficiently, cob webs all over the house with spiders and some were quite big, bathroom locks for few not working, outside bins were not cleared and was asked to throw to the nearby council bins) so not very happy as we had kids, elders with us

Absolutely stunning! This gorgeous house exceeded our expectations in every way. The views over the bay are breathtaking and looked even more beautiful in person. The kitchen was fully equipped and more, and we loved the drinks area with all types of glasses and mugs, plus the coffee machine was a lovely touch. This property was perfect for our family to meet from all different parts of the UK. The layout of the property was exactly what were we’re looking for with a big table we could all get around. Has beautiful views over the bay! It is walkable to lots of local shops and pubs etc. Host very responsive and will certainly be looking to book again

We had a wonderful time at this air bnb! It was equipped insanely well and we all switched off feeling right at home away from home. It had a fantastic layout which made it great for large groups offering multiple different cozy social spaces. The views were fantastic, lots of great walks in the area and things to explore. The host was very responsive and helpful all the way from pre booking to check out :) We would Definetly come back :)

I visited Bay View House with 13 friends for a girly weekend away to celebrate a friend turning 30. The house is beautiful, exactly how it is pictured and described. The sunrise & sunset view from the patio doors are amazing! Within walking distance (5/10) minutes to the main centre with a pub and shops. Will definitely return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Bay View House over New Year's. The property is absolutely stunning, offering plenty of space for everyone. We were a group with three young children and two teenagers, and all of them loved the house. There was also plenty to do in the surrounding area, keeping everyone entertained. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to others. The only downside was the bin situation—when we arrived, the bins were already full, making it difficult to fit the rest of our waste in. Aside from that, our stay was perfect!
