Guest access

Guests at Zimbali Estate have access to all Zimbali amenities including the Championship 18 Hole Golf Course, the 3km stretch of private beach, the Valley of the Pools, tennis and squash courts, running trails and more. There are many exciting activities to partake in such as quad biking, surfing and scuba diving (Please note that some facilities/activities come at an additional cost which must be arranged and paid once within the estate).

Other things to note

Damage Protection:
This property is protected by LekkerGuest, our guest verification and damage protection partner. After the booking is confirmed, guests will receive a link to complete a quick verification and must choose either of the following options:
Option 1 - Security Deposit: A fully refundable R7,500 hold (a service fee equivalent to R47 is charged additionally).
Option 2 - Damage Waiver: A non-refundable R800 fee providing R10,000 in accidental damage cover.

Loadshedding:
To assist with loadshedding, the property has an inverter that powers the lights, TV & wifi. Guests are advised to download the ESP app and add Ballito (15) as an area so that they can be up to date with the Loadshedding schedule ahead of their stay.

⚠️ Important Booking Info:
Zimbali Estate has strict access control rules managed by the Zimbali Estate Management Association, known as ZEMA. These rules are separate from Euphoric Leisure’s booking terms and must be followed to ensure a smooth check-in and stay. Please read the below carefully before booking

🔐 Access Requirements
* No same-day or last-minute bookings are permitted.
* All guest and vehicle details must be submitted by no later than 12 PM the day before check-in.
* ID copies are required for all guests aged 16 years and older.
* Only registered guests listed on the booking form will be allowed access to the estate.
* No visitors are permitted under any circumstances.
* All drivers entering the estate will be biometrically registered.
* Jet-skis and boats are not permitted onto the estate.
Late, incomplete, or incorrect submissions may result in access being delayed or denied. Any booking form changes, additions, or corrections made after 12 PM the day before check-in will only be processed the following day and may result in guests having to wait at least 24 hours before access is granted.
A late change penalty of R350 per change will apply.
Euphoric Leisure is not responsible and will not issue refunds for access delays or denied access caused by missing, incorrect, late, or changed guest information. It is the guest’s responsibility to ensure that all details are accurate and submitted on time.

🕒 Check-In Times and Late Check-In Fees
A late check-in fee of R750 applies for arrivals after:
* 7 PM from Saturday to Thursday
* 10 PM on Fridays

🏡 Estate Use and Restrictions
The accommodation is strictly for short-term residential rental only. It may not be used for events, functions, parties, receptions, meetings, commercial use, or for more guests than the registered number.
No external service providers are allowed onto the estate. This includes, but is not limited to:
* Chefs
* Masseuses
* Decorators
* Beauty technicians
* Any other outside service providers

🚗 Uber, Taxi and Food Delivery Rules
* Ubers and taxis are only permitted for drop-off and collection.
* Ubers and taxis may not transport guests around the estate.
* If guests do not have their own vehicle, we recommend renting a car or golf cart to enjoy the estate facilities with ease.
* Access codes for Ubers and taxis can only be requested between 8 AM and 4 PM.
* If a code expires due to guests arriving after midnight, access may be restricted until office hours resume the next day.
* Guests are responsible for any fines incurred by their Uber or taxi drivers.
* Uber Eats, takeaway, and food deliveries are not allowed onto the estate. All food deliveries must be collected outside the estate.
