Thank you for the stay! The place was small, but had all we needed and what was advertised. What we liked a lot: - The location - everything is within walking distance (it might look sketchy in the evenings / night, but we never felt unsafe). - Has 24/7 carrefour shop open 1min away, Lavapies metro stop 30s away. - They can provide a travel cot for baby! - Has elevator! Few things to note: - Sometimes we had issues with the wifi - it was unstable/loosing connection when having video calls. - The apartment had a funny smell, and even ventilation with windows open didn't help, so might be an issue for some sensitive people. For was it was something we could live with. - It's an old building, so you can hear your neighbours coming back home from the staircase and the isolation is not perfect. But no issues to sleep as the bedroom is not facing the street. - The pans and pots are old - in case you are planning to cook you might be disappointed. But has all needed cutlery etc.

The apartment is in a convenient location with easy access to pharmacies, supermarkets, and the metro. The apartment was clean and all necessary amenities were provided. However, there were several issues during the stay. The mattress was uncomfortable and caused back pain, personally. The biggest problem was the noise at night — neighbours were noisy after 1am until dawn, with sounds of dragging furniture and luggage, loud music, and parties, which made it difficult to rest. The bathroom is extremely small. The check-in process was also inconvenient. Although the stated check-in time was 3pm, the actual check-in was around 4:30pm, so we had to wait about 1.5 hours. In addition, guests need to collect and return a physical key from a locker located about a 10-minute uphill walk from the apartment. This can be especially difficult for solo travellers or anyone carrying large luggage after a long-haul flight.

Our stay in Madrid was short but very enjoyable. We really liked the atmosphere of the neighbourhood where the flat is located; there are lots of things to do. We walked to Sol and it only took us 15 minutes; we passed through parts of Madrid that we hadn't seen before. Further down the street, you'll find Lavapiés tube station, which is extremely well connected. The flat is very good, cosy, and matches the description and photos. The hosts are very friendly and attentive at all times; they responded instantly, which made everything very easy. I'm sure we will repeat in the future.

The place is great. The flat has everything you need to spend some time there. I had trouble getting into the building, but the host was very patient in helping me. Which is a very positive point. However, the bath and face towels were wet, indicating that they had not been changed. When I contacted them to report the situation, I was told that they are always changed during cleaning. And the problem hasn't been resolved. I had to buy towels in order to use it. I also found rubbish bags containing rubbish on the kitchen floor. I was unsure whether the place had been properly cleaned and whether the towels had been changed or not. Apart from that issue, everything went smoothly. Communication with the hosts was easy. They always responded when I needed them.

Respect and care of the space: This is your home during your stay, so we ask that you take care of it and keep it in good condition for your own comfort and that of future tenants. 2. No indoor smoking: No smoking inside the apartment. If you are a smoker, please do so outside to avoid discomfort and possible persistent odors. 3. Responsible energy and water consumption: Turn off lights and appliances when not in use. Close the taps to avoid water waste. 4. Coexistence and Rest Hours: Respect the neighbors' peace. Avoid loud noises and loud music between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. Parties are not allowed inside the apartment. 5. Departure Rules: When your lease ends, please make sure to: - Turn off all lights and appliances - Close the windows and the door tightly - Remove all your rubbish and personal belongings. - Leave the keys at the agreed point. 6. Visits: You may receive occasional visits, but people not included in the lease are not allowed to stay overnight without prior authorization. 7. Cleaning: Cleaning the apartment is the responsibility of the tenant. If you need additional cleaning, it can be requested with a cost of €50 per service. 8. Apartment delivery conditions: At the end of the stay, the apartment must be delivered in conditions similar to those of the entrance. In case it is delivered in poor cleaning conditions, an additional charge of €90 will be applied. 9. Maintenance and damage: Any damage to the property caused by the tenant must be communicated and the cost of the repair or replacement will be borne by the tenant. 10. Linens and towels change: Two initial sets of linens and towels will be provided. Any additional replenishment will be borne by the tenant. 11. Key loss: In case of loss, the replacement cost will be borne by the tenant. 12. Towels, linens, furniture and other furnishings in the apartment must be used with care. In the event of permanent stains or damage that cannot be removed with standard cleaning, an additional cost will be applied to cover the replacement or restoration of the affected item.
