This place is well located, right near Tirso de Molina and in the lovely and vibrant Lavapies. The light in the apartment is great, and I appreciate that it had a desk for remote work. It was quiet, even at night. It is a sufficiently large and stocked space for a short stay, but I agree with previous comments that it probably wouldn't be ideal for a mid or longer-term. The kitchen and bathrooms are hard to navigate due to the height issues. The apartment possesses the bare essentials, but not more for comfort for a longer stay. I had issues getting in because apartment access is dependent on wifi, and the wifi ended up being down for 24 hours when I got there. Communication with the host was not ideal in that window, I had to be insistent and follow up. However, they did manage to bring me short-term wifi after some exchanges and they resolved the issue in 24 hours. I appreciated that.

We felt comfortable in the apartment. The air conditioning kept the apartment nice and warm (November), the bathrooms were very clean and you could watch Prime and Netflix on the TV. You can't see much of the surroundings due to the skylights, but the sun has shone in nicely. The sloping ceilings do not allow upright walking everywhere in the apartment, but for a few days we found it more fun than annoying. In the surrounding area you can eat well and the nearby subway connection is also very convenient. Also nearby is a large supermarket, which is open 24 hours. Very practical!

We had a lovely time here, there’s amazing restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and night clubs less than 10 minutes walking from the apartment. There was also a metro station like 2 minuets away. It’s also so beautiful and cozy inside, exactly like the photographs. The hosts are very quickly responsive, I had messaged them about getting inside once there and they immediately responded. It is an attic room so the ceilings are low but thankfully me and my friend (5’2 & 5’6) could comfortably move around everywhere. Just consider the low ceilings if you’re very tall :)

Additional rules
The main tenant, who makes the reservation, is responsible for all accompanying guests. As of 2025, this property cannot accommodate tenants coming to Madrid solely for tourism. We can only host groups whose main tenant declares a purpose other than tourism: professional, work-related, academic, teaching, medical, congress attendance, cultural, remote work, etc. For this reason, we must sign a contract stating the purpose of the stay. No further explanation is required. The contract must be kept in the apartment and shown upon request. Additionally: Parties are strictly prohibited and will result in the termination of the contract and immediate eviction without refund. If a private security guard or the police must come to the apartment, we will charge €250 for the call-out service. Please respect your neighbors’ rest. Do not make noise in the stairwells or inside the apartment: Monday to Sunday from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. There is a noise law in Madrid, with cash fines exceeding €300 per person. It is prohibited to leave garbage in the apartment. Every night, there are grey bins with orange lids on the street. Use the yellow lid for packaging, and the brown lid for organic waste. The last night is especially important. Taking garbage out in the morning is not allowed. If we must remove it ourselves, the cost is €25. If you cook, you must clean the utensils you used. Towels are for personal drying only. They are not cloths or wipes for makeup or shoes. The cost of unusable towels due to misuse is €20. Clothes may not be hung on balconies or exterior windows. Use the drying racks provided. For rentals of 28 days or more, the tenant will be responsible for utility costs exceeding €100 (electricity, water, gas, heating, air conditioning...). Only declared tenants may enter the property. The presence of unauthorized individuals is grounds for immediate termination of the contract and eviction. In compliance with national security law, we are required—because it is mandatory—to collect guests' information to submit it to the police. We will require a photo of an official ID. For self check-ins, a selfie is also required. Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment. The fine is €300 out of respect for others. If keys are lost, we must change the lock. The cost is €120. A welcome pack is provided and usually lasts two days. We do not supply items for the entire stay. It includes: shower gel, kitchen cloth, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom). We can offer late check-in, but we have decided to charge: €20 from 21:00 to 22:00, €30 from 22:00 to 00:00, €50 from 00:00 to 01:00, and €100 after 01:00. If the tenant violates the rules, they acknowledge that they lose the right to remain in the apartment and will not receive any refund. - Gather used towels

Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
