A really great apartment in La Latina. We felt very comfortable. Beautifully furnished, a super comfortable bed and everything you need – but you should be aware of the following: it is really, really small. The bathroom in particular is tiny; there is nowhere to put things. We are both slim and not tall, and we could hardly turn around. It is also a typical Spanish house with very thin walls. You can hear the neighbours talking and showering. Unfortunately, the neighbours also smoke, and the smell clearly drifted into the flat, which was very unpleasant for us with a small child. Of course, Marta and Jorge are not to blame for that. They are very proactive and warm hosts and allowed us to check in earlier – thank you very much again ❤️

The apartment is very well located, and everything is within walking distance. The neighbourhood is very lively with lots on offer in the morning, Muniz for the porras in the evening, and the nightclub on the corner. And with all that, you don't hear a sound in the apartment. A very good time.

In general, everything was great. You're right in the centre, the area is quiet, and the guests were very friendly and considerate. In our case, we only came for two days to see the centre, and we didn't have to use public transport because everything was so close. The only thing that could be improved is the bathroom. It's small and I'm quite tall. Apart from that, everything's great.🙂

We loved our stay in Madrid and at this apartment! The location is the selling point for this place, situated in the beautiful la Latina neighbourhood (we fell in love with the architecture!) and within 15-30 mins walking distance of all the major sites! We only had to the get metro for the airport and to visit the Bernabéu stadium (even then the metro is only a 5 minute walk away). Near plenty of lovely cafes, we loved Alchemy and Slow. And near the Cava Baja strip with lots of good places for Tapas and Paella. The apartment was very clean, the towels were so soft and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom is on the smaller side, I’m 5ft2 and struggled a bit in the shower, but it does the job! There is a sewage smell in the bathroom but you do get used to it. On the down side, you can hear neighbours clearly in the stair well and some aren’t the most respectful with noise. We also had a noisy neighbour above us, but again we saw past this due to the brilliant location! Would recommend

Additional rules
The main tenant, who makes the reservation, is responsible for all accompanying guests. As of 2025, this property cannot accommodate tenants coming to Madrid solely for tourism. We can only host groups whose main tenant declares a purpose other than tourism: professional, work-related, academic, teaching, medical, congress attendance, cultural, remote work, etc. For this reason, we must sign a contract stating the purpose of the stay. No further explanation is required. The contract must be kept in the apartment and shown upon request. Additionally: Parties are strictly prohibited and will result in the termination of the contract and immediate eviction without refund. If a private security guard or the police must come to the apartment, we will charge €250 for the call-out service. Please respect your neighbors’ rest. Do not make noise in the stairwells or inside the apartment: Monday to Sunday from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. There is a noise law in Madrid, with cash fines exceeding €300 per person. It is prohibited to leave garbage in the apartment. Every night, there are grey bins with orange lids on the street. Use the yellow lid for packaging, and the brown lid for organic waste. The last night is especially important. Taking garbage out in the morning is not allowed. If we must remove it ourselves, the cost is €25. If you cook, you must clean the utensils you used. Towels are for personal drying only. They are not cloths or wipes for makeup or shoes. The cost of unusable towels due to misuse is €20. Clothes may not be hung on balconies or exterior windows. Use the drying racks provided. For rentals of 28 days or more, the tenant will be responsible for utility costs exceeding €100 (electricity, water, gas, heating, air conditioning...). Only declared tenants may enter the property. The presence of unauthorized individuals is grounds for immediate termination of the contract and eviction. In compliance with national security law, we are required—because it is mandatory—to collect guests' information to submit it to the police. We will require a photo of an official ID. For self check-ins, a selfie is also required. Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment. The fine is €300 out of respect for others. If keys are lost, we must change the lock. The cost is €120. A welcome pack is provided and usually lasts two days. We do not supply items for the entire stay. It includes: shower gel, kitchen cloth, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom). If the tenant violates the rules, they acknowledge that they lose the right to remain in the apartment and will not receive any refund. - Gather used towels

Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
