A wonderful place, it was a very relaxing and welcoming space. Close to everything including a local grocery store. Beds and linens were completely cozy and comfortable. Host was wonderful, responsive and checked in several times during our stay. She helped us get to the apartment from the airport, and allowed us to drop off luggage a bit early. This was the perfect place for us as a family of four adults. Thank you so much!!

The apartment was very clean, warm and well equipped and was as described on the website. The location is very central with easy access to Tirso de Molina train station and surrounding amenities. There was no street noise or from other apartments and the area felt safe. We would be happy to book again in the future 😊

The apartment itself was a perfect fit for our group of 6 friends. We had space to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The location is perfect if you want to explore all that Madrid has to offer including it's multicultural aspects. My only complaint about our stay was that the host sent many, many messages. I think the intention is one of hospitality it missed the mark as the messages were mostly auto-sent, therefore not actually helpful. It was also frustrating when we were sent the wrong address which was very confusing to those guests who had never been to Madrid.

The apartment is well located to walk around the city, the elevator to the third floor is welcome, good bedding, nice kitchen to share meals with family, food stores very close, the only thing we missed a lot is a second set of keys! I highly recommend this apartment and warmly thank Marta and Enrique.

There was plenty of space at the apartment which in the end i didnt need as all the guests did not come. The apartment was clean and tidy and was in a nice quiet location. We found cute local places to eat and the metro / train was within walking distance as we were going to a trade fair. would definitely use again. they also helped arrange a taxi from the airport which was helpful as we were arriving quite late and the taxi queue was very long.

The apartment is fine, but we had a mishap with the electricity. The first night a "braker" burned out, we were without electricity for 3 hours with unbearable heat while the electrician came to change it. Then we had to take turns turning on the electrical appliances because the breaker was falling. My daughter's dental appliance was left in the bathroom, I wrote to confirm if it was in the bathroom, but I never received a response. Otherwise, the stay was quite good. Spacious apartment in Lavapiés. Multicultural and good location.

Martha and Enrique were very kind with everything from the beginning to the end. They even helped me with transportation, taking care of my parents who are elderly and helping me with the logistics at all times. Thank you very much. The apartment is just like the photos inside, the rooms, the bathrooms and all the spaces. The only thing we didn't like very much was the environment where it is located, although it is a few meters from Plaza Mayor where we could walk. The environment where the apartment is located is very ugly!! From then on, everything was perfect. We went out and got everything we wanted within walking distance! Thank you very much Martha and Enrique, of course I would return to the apartment!!! 🤗

Really enjoyed our stay here. The flat has plenty room for everyone with two bathrooms. It's on the 3rd floor but there is a good working lift. The flat is really central and within a couple of minutes your surrounded by restaurants, shops and bars. You can easily walk to all attractions from here or to the metro. Definitely recommend

What's most worth of this home is its hosts. Always on the slope, they helped us with everything they could, including letting us in earlier and asking us for a taxi from the airport. Also the accommodation is very close to everything tourist in Madrid. Excellent.

Overall, our experience was great. We had issues with our hot water, and Maria was extremely responsive to our concern. She helped us address the issue right away. We are not used to the mugginess of Spain, so at times, we’d come back to the apartment with the bathroom wet from the humidity. The air would not always turn on, so there was no air circulating to prevent the humidity. Although, the apartment was central to a lot, there were a few events that took place that were questionable. I am not sure if it is normal in Spain for such things to occur, but we’ve never seen that before. Even though those events took place, we still felt safe because the police would drive down the road constantly. We did not feel threatened while standing outside or walking anywhere. Maria also arranged airport pickup for us and provided a locker recommendation. She also let us check in earlier than check in time, since we had arrived to Madrid so early. Everything was good, according to how it is published. The apartment is right in the historic center of Madrid at a distance walking from the prinicapes tourist points. The only drawback we had was that the antepenultimate day broke the pipe in a bathroom and could not be used for a day and a half. The location of the airbnb was convenient because it was at a walkable distance to different places we wanted to visit. The airbnb itself was clean and very spacious in the inside. I personally liked the living room because it was open and I did not feel cluttered. Overall I would definitely book again when I come back to Madrid!

Just a bit of a problem with the drain in one of the toilets, everything else was good.Fully equipped and small items for cooking.It is quite easy to walk to all the main attractions in Madrid and close to the subway station.Overall a great experience.

Very convenient stay at the Airbnb. Central location with nice cafes, restaurants and bars at walking distance, yet a quiet enough street. Clean and confortable. Only downsides were: the drain in both showers were not working properly so there is a lot of accumulated water when you shower, not enough hot water (two bathrooms cannot be used at the same time otherwise one shower will not have hot water), and no oven in kitchen. But otherwise, very good!

Clean and cosy apartment, we had a pleasant stay. Very friendly hosts, Marta Y Enrique. The apartment was silent and easy to reach with Metro. We were six adults, and enjoyed nice restaurants around La Latina and Anton Martin, just a little walk away. The flea market nearby on Sunday was great, too. The neighbourghood is a bit run-down and unclean, when going downhill. Upwards the street is nice. The apartment is clean as well as the bathrooms, but there is a bit odor in the bathrooms.

This apartment is perfect for large families or groups. The location is excellent, very close to the main tourist attractions and with a 24/7 Carrefour supermarket. The bed linens are of high quality, the crockery is modern and complete, and has amenities such as washing machine, dishwasher and elevator, which made our stay even more practical. Having two bathrooms was ideal for our group, and the harmonic decoration and impeccable cleanliness stood out. The digital lock gave us a lot of independence, and the owner's personal welcome was a lovely detail. All in all, it's the best place to enjoy Madrid comfortably. We recommend it without hesitation!

Marta and Enrique were very nice friendly hosts and easy to communicate with. The property inside has everything shown on the pictures. The building lobby area was not very clean. We were told by the taxi and Uber drivers to be careful at night not to walk around. We had no problems during our stay but were concerned about the driver’s comments.

The establishment was really neat and tidy. The host, God bless her, had provided everything we could ever need during our stay in the apartment, which we found to be an extremely kind gesture, and it really helped us cut down on grocery items. The apartment is located in arguably the best area in Madrid, with a Carrefour within its close radius. Everything was beyond expectation, but the only two downsides I could think of were the lack of bidets, and the living room table which has jagged edges that point out, and that we all hit at some point during our stay. Nonetheless, I would definitely come back and I would also recommend this apartment to any of my acquaintances who are looking for a great place at an even greater price.

Marta's communication was excellent, she was friendly and responsive. They provided a guide to the apartments amenities and listed many recommendations which were super helpful! The apartment was lovely - clean and more spacious than imagined. Everything worked well and amenities were provided. There are two air conditioning units in communal areas, but due to the heat of 40 degrees outside in August this was not sufficient to keep us cool and we were very hot whilst trying to sleep. The air conditioning and cool apartment (shutters and airy layout) would be perfectly sufficient if it were 30 degrees or cooler outside! I imagine this may be an issue for lots of apartments in Madrid, but air conditioning in bedrooms would make this stay perfect! Overall I would really recommend our stay and the host!

The apartment is in a safe building in a great location. The furniture was comfortable enough. The kitchen was stocked fairly well and the ground coffee and percolator provided were a big plus. Also the washing machine and detergent to use was very nice to have. It was 100-101 degrees F each day we were in Madrid and the AC did not cool the apartment much. It was uncomfortable although there were 3 fans which made it bearable to sleep. If you stay at another time of year this would not be a problem. The towels were pretty mildewy smelling. The hosts were very very communicative and asked us if we needed anything a day into our stay. We felt cared for by the hosts. the keyless entry option is a huge plus if you forget keys or split up. Overall I think this place is a good option for la latina and being close to the metro.

The apartment is very nice, there were 5 people and we were all very comfortable! It has all the amenities needed for a good stay. Marta has been a great hostess. In addition to a set of keys, we had a digital access from the mobile to the apartment that worked perfect and was very helpful. The neighborhood is multicultural, the apartment is very close to a subway station and if they are walking like us, accessible on foot to the most touristic places. We had great time, thank you for everything!

The host was very friendly, warm, the location of the house was nice, the house was decorated with characteristics, we could walk to the sights, we were a family vacation, three rooms, it was very comfortable for five people to stay. The only regret was that the house was not very soundproofing, the first night the two suites next door came back to open the door in the middle of the night and were woken up twice; the second night there was a TV that was particularly loud and we only fell asleep at two or three o'clock in the morning But it is estimated that this issue is prevalent because the building of the house is dense Anyway, it's worth recommending👍

We had a fantastic stay at this spacious Airbnb in Madrid! The apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet still close to all the main tourist attractions, although slightly outside the buzz of the tourist crowds and locals. The three separate bedrooms were perfect for our group, and the double bathrooms were a significant plus. We appreciated the many thoughtful details throughout the apartment, from the drying rack to the European plugs. Communication with the host was excellent, making our stay seamless and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a home away from home in Madrid!

First time I wrote a bad review on airbnb or other platforms. For its own business reasons Airbnb canceled my initial reservation so I had to choose this place in a hurry; BIG mistake. NONE of the bedrooms has A/C, the 2 inefficient wall units are in common areas, so, if you want privacy prepare to sweat all night. Smelly wet towels were left in the unit for more than 24 hrs, the reason? host's excuses. Very small bedrooms as are the beds; my 6'1" son slept with feet out of bed in his sauna hot bedroom. Small fans useless. No nightstands for your phone or water bottle. Overused and rough linen specially the towels. Found the neighbors looking at me and wife IN BED due to flimsy curtains and the proximity to their window. Worn out furniture including a broken chair and they know it!! The 2 baths are in the kitchen!! The place looks and feels dirt. Strong stench to fish as a result of a fish market a few meters away. Overpriced is an understatement. Sorry, there is nothing good to say

Spacious apartment, just like in the pictures. Located in quite quiet street in walking distance of several metro stations. Marta is very responsive and also arranged taxi for us. The only downside is that they use an app to open the door of which neighbors also turned out to have the code and they were in our apartment at night - by mistake we think. Marta responded quickly, but was not a nice feeling.

We enjoyed walking around and discovering delightful artisan shops, cool bakeries, bars and restaurants. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well kitted out. We had a great stay at Marta y Enrique’s place. They were extremely responsive throughout the entirety of our stay and went the extra mile to make check in easy for us. They booked airport transport for us both ways and checked in to see if we had everything we needed while there. This apartment is in a great location - central in lavapies, minutes from a metro station and many central sights; and also on a quieter street with blackout curtains in all the windows. The apartment is laid out with the living room and kitchen towards the street, and the bedrooms in a row towards the back - so it is very quiet for sleeping. Two big full baths worked well for our group, which included a couple, one single and one teen. Having a room for the teen to have some private space was excellent. And the gathering area was spacious enough that we didn’t feel on top of one another. I would definitely stay in this apartment again, and would gladly book with Marta y Enrique who were wonderful

The apartment is pretty good. Located in a super central area you are a couple of minutes away from the metro station, it is easy to get to and you have shops around to be able to supply you. The cleanliness was 10/10 and the kitchen is quite comfortable, it has everything you need to be able to solve a couple of meals. The only thing I can have with the floor is that one of the beds was an uncomfortable one.

Marta is a sweetheart! She saved us from an unfortunate situation in another Airbnb. We contact her to find out if the apartment was available and she responded immediately and said she would meet us there in half hour so we could leave our belongings and enjoy the day while it was being cleaned. The apartment is in a multicultural neighborhood very close to all tourist sites in Madrid. It is a renovated and decorated apartment with pleasure. The relationship with the host was very good and he made us several very interesting recommendations. We had a little problem with the boiler and the response was immediate response. Summarizing the house, it is highly recommended for the house itself,as well as the location and the deal with the host.

The host was helpful at the beginning of our stay with taxis and recommendations for local restaurants, etc. However, the property needs some maintenance and a better-equipped kitchen. There was a noticeable smell from the bathrooms and moldy patches around the tiles. It felt like the host did not want to encourage us to cook/eat in the apartment as there were few pans or utensils, and the fridge door didn't open properly to allow the vegetable drawer to be used. One single bedroom lacked a bedside lamp, and both mattresses were thin and uncomfortable. Initially, there weren't sufficient towels for all the guests, and although resolved, they didn't set a good first impression. Overall, this place didn't reflect the quality of the home of a superhost.

The place is close to attractions and walkable to plaza mayor and the palace. It did not exactly match the pictures, but is comfortable. There were some issues with heating and hot water. Marta is responsive host and resolved the issues as soon as possible. We had a good stay.

We only spent 2 nights but we couldn't have chosen better! Very spacious apartment with everything you need. Very clean, very well decorated. Marta and Enrique were very good hosts, always responding on time and with recommendations! Very close to the center (Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Cava baja...) just below there is an incredible neighborhood fishmonger, bakery, delicatessen, various supermarkets a few minutes walk. Very good connection with metro L1 (Tirso de Molina). Totally recommended! Thank you Marta and Enrique! If we go back to Madrid, we'll definitely repeat!

We really enjoyed our stay n Marta and Enrique’s lovely apartment. For Madrid it’s in a very quiet street, it’s spacious and tastefully furnished. Having our teenage son with us it was great to have two bathrooms. We found the queen sized bed very comfortable and Madrid was unseasonably hot so it was great to have air-conditioning that was quiet and worked really well. Also handy to have a kitchen, large fridge and freezer. The apartment is on the third floor, with a smallish lift. Marta gave us lots of recommendations for tapas bars and restaurants. We chose Sua by Triciclo which has received its first Michelin star in 2023. A bit more pricey but absolutely worth it. There are also nice restaurants within 200m and even a daily flower market. All in all a perfect stay in Madrid. We’d definitely stay there again if we return.

We walked everywhere from the apartment. It was very comfortable and clean. Responded quickly. Had the pleasure of meeting Enrique when he came by to check on something for us. It was a lovely apartment.

Marte and Enrique are responsive and attentive. Spacious and very well located pleasant accommodation. I recommend for your stays in Madrid.
