Had a great stay, for 5 nights. Madrid was wonderful. Apartments location was fantastic, close to Gran Via. Spacious apartment in the city centre. Furniture and utensils could do with a bit of an update. Overall had a great stay and would stay again.

Spacious and comfortable apartment, with a good location, it is as shown in the photos. Very nice building with lift to take luggage up on arrival. It has everything you need to know and enjoy on foot. I recommend it.

We had a wonder full stay in Martha's really cosy nice and well equipped apartment. The apartment is perfect located in a lovely area in centrum. Martha was helpfull all the time with usefull information. The comunication was easy going. I will absolute recoment to stay in Marthas apartment at any time.

Overall experience was dampened by the state of the apartment and hosts being passive/aggressive in their messages to me sometimes. The apartment on the photos looks so much cleaner and more maintained than in photos. A lot of things in the kitchen were falling apart, every arm chair has stains, the internet was slow not loading any videos on TV, the couch is unusable as a sleeper, but also was falling apart just to sit on it. They send their son, who was very nice to try and remedy these things, but not everything could be fixed. I complained about stains, dirty walls, dirty bathroom floor and was told to buy my own cleaning supplies - which I really did…. I think the apartment needs to be maintained better. It is in the great location, (caution streets are noisy!!) and if all you do is sleep in the bedroom - you can be okay, but if you are planning on enjoying your time inside for part of your trip, be aware.

    The main tenant, who makes the reservation, is responsible for all accompanying guests. As of 2025, this property cannot accommodate tenants coming to Madrid solely for tourism. We can only host groups whose main tenant declares a purpose other than tourism: professional, work-related, academic, teaching, medical, congress attendance, cultural, remote work, etc. For this reason, we must sign a contract stating the purpose of the stay. No further explanation is required. The contract must be kept in the apartment and shown upon request. Additionally: Parties are strictly prohibited and will result in the termination of the contract and immediate eviction without refund. If a private security guard or the police must come to the apartment, we will charge €250 for the call-out service. Please respect your neighbors’ rest. Do not make noise in the stairwells or inside the apartment: Monday to Sunday from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. There is a noise law in Madrid, with cash fines exceeding €300 per person. It is prohibited to leave garbage in the apartment. Every night, there are grey bins with orange lids on the street. Use the yellow lid for packaging, and the brown lid for organic waste. The last night is especially important. Taking garbage out in the morning is not allowed. If we must remove it ourselves, the cost is €25. If you cook, you must clean the utensils you used. Towels are for personal drying only. They are not cloths or wipes for makeup or shoes. The cost of unusable towels due to misuse is €20. Clothes may not be hung on balconies or exterior windows. Use the drying racks provided. For rentals of 28 days or more, the tenant will be responsible for utility costs exceeding €100 (electricity, water, gas, heating, air conditioning...). Only declared tenants may enter the property. The presence of unauthorized individuals is grounds for immediate termination of the contract and eviction. In compliance with national security law, we are required—because it is mandatory—to collect guests' information to submit it to the police. We will require a photo of an official ID. For self check-ins, a selfie is also required. Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment. The fine is €300 out of respect for others. If keys are lost, we must change the lock. The cost is €120. A welcome pack is provided and usually lasts two days. We do not supply items for the entire stay. It includes: shower gel, kitchen cloth, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, toilet paper (2 rolls per bathroom). We can offer late check-in, but we have decided to charge: €20 from 21:00 to 22:00, €30 from 22:00 to 00:00, €50 from 00:00 to 01:00, and €100 after 01:00. If the tenant violates the rules, they acknowledge that they lose the right to remain in the apartment and will not receive any refund.
