The flat itself was very nice and great location. Super easy to find. The host was responsive and helpful. However, I have to agree with others that the neighbours were very noisy! We were all woken up on multiple occasions in the night. Apart from that we had a wonderful stay!

The house is just like the picture.
We had some discomfort because of the neighbors who make a lot of noise at night.
We also ran out of sheets for one week without any spare sheets being provided.

Nice, recently refurbished basement flat well located in Margate, around 10 minutes from the seafront. Reasonably spacious and comfortable, it was a nice base for a few nights.

As it's a flat you expect this, but the upstairs neighbours are rather noisy. There was also nowhere to dry clothes, despite the garden̈ area being ideal for it.

The flat was clean. Easy to access. Beds comfortable.

Overwhelmingly, the noise from the flat above. There is no soundproofing between the rental flat and the neighbour's flat upstairs. They (upstairs) played music throughout the night, into the morning, both nights of our stay. Assuming this is the case every weekend.

It is unfortunate that the neighbours keep such late hours but more an issue that the flat we stayed in has not been soundproofed. A good night's sleep was NOT on the cards. This certainly needs addressing.

House was lovely. Everything you needed was there. Garden is really nice too. The weblink for all of the information was brilliant and really useful

Nextdoor were up for days partying and shouting about at all hours. Not sure if they live there full time or was rented out.

Dale's place in Margate was beautiful and a really nice spot to visit for the weekend. The only downside was the nosy neighbours on the weekend who were partying upstairs until the early hours of the morning. The cons of a basement flat.

We liked pretty much everything about the apartment.

The bedrooms were nice and spacious with really, really comfy beds.

The bathroom was clean, as one would expect.

The kitchen and living area were very well presented.

We didn't get to use the garden, but it looked like an inviting well-kept space that would be great for a bbq.

The location is excellent, since you're only 5-10 minutes walk to the Old Town, beach and Cliftonville.

We also found some children's books in a drawer, which we thought was a nice consideration.

Overall, we very impressed and would certainly recommend to visitors to Margate.

For some reason, we were unable to get phone reception anywhere in the apartment. We were able to resolve by using WiFi and informing friends to use WhatsApp to contact us.

The digital guide does not contain any details of how to connect to the wifi. Thankfully, we remembered that you can find the network and password details on the router itself after having struggled to find details in the slow to respond guide app. Possibly slow because we had no reception. Hopefully, the guide will be updated to include the wifi details for guests in future. Even better, the wifi details should be printed out and left in an obvious place.

One other (non-deal breaker) thing was that there wasn't a hairdryer. For the price per night, i would expect a hairdryer, even a cheap one.

Gorgeous, clean and modern maisonette flat. Very spacious and everything to a high standard, beds very comfy, kitchen well stocked and living area cosy. Perfect location - 10 mins walk to anything you could want to do in Margate.
Only difficulty is no parking - there is 1hr free parking outside the flat so can unload bags but then have to find street parking a 5 min walk away - not the nicest streets available to leave car unattended on. Still 100% worth it to have a lovely flat in great location - but just something to be aware of! Thanks for a lovely stay.

The place was easy to find and check-in was simple. It was clean and refurbished nicely. The garden was great although we didn't have much nice weather to be able to enjoy it fully. Free parking a short walk away.
Unfortunately, the walls/floors are very thin. The upstairs neighbours were very loud, arguing and playing music until 5:30am so we did not sleep well/at all.
The main living area is on the lower ground floor, so there is no phone signal. There was clearly WiFi in the apartment as the smart TV was connected to it. We called the host to get the password but they said they cannot give it to us. One member of our party was traveling with her young baby and she was unable to contact her husband whilst in the house due to there being no signal/WiFi.
Overall, we had a good stay which was unfortunately tinged by the noisy neighbours.

We had a really lovely and comfortable stay. The place was clean, had everything we needed in terms of the kitchen and was a fantastic location meaning we could walk everywhere. Definitely recommend a stay here !

A lovely place! Newly refurbished and very clean. Good location, about a 10 min walk to the old town. Couldn’t take advantage of the garden because of the weather, but it looked like a nice space! Overall, a pleasant experience and a very good stay.
