Central location. Comfortable beds.

No vehicular access. Very difficult to find. Property very cold on arrival & controls tricky. Metal staircase to flat quite tricky & slippery in the rain. Would have liked advance notice of access details. One bedroom window boarded up with plywood.

Decor / facilities inside the flat are good - 2 decent bedrooms, basic bathroom, nice kitchen and lounge area. Pleasant surprise compared to access / getting into the flat itself / view from outside the flat. Location great for centre of Bewdley-and cafes / shops / bars / river pathways for walks all easily accessible.

The access / presentation to the flat is not good - access via an alley with bins from other flats / restaurants- gate into small yard and then steep metal steps to front door of property to reception shared with another flat. Fire alarm panel showed active alarm. Door to neighbouring flat appeared to have been damaged / forced. Parking locations hear the flat are spread about - and actually quite close to the flat - but location in relation to the flat not immediately obvious. Hot water boiler is noisy - but does provide hot water. Some sections windows (old wired glass) boarded.

Spacious, comfortable, and nicely equipped. Very central location, decent amount of coffee/tea/milk provided

Filthy entrance via Main Street - pigeon droppings, cigarette ends, not the best way to start your stay cleaning bird muck off your shoes. Directions not good… hard to find… hidden down a dark alleyway - and could be easier, only had to say look for alley with sign “No Road” - and direction from the other, car park end, which was much cleaner would have led to a much nicer start to the stay. Needed maintenance - broken window in bedroom with plywood board over it. Not overly clean - trod on a piece of broken glass in the lounge, kitchen sides sticky and needed wiping. Lack of information - scanning a QR code took to a site giving (again not detailed) info on how to get there (we were already in!) and the WiFi code - again to scan the code already had it! Information such as how to work the heaters would have been helpful

I think for the price I would have expected the property to be cleaner. The location was great for the reason of my stay. The rooms were nicely decorated. There was an issue with the shower it was either freezing cold or burning hot and when it was hot the noise from the boiler was awful sounded like a constant air lock.

ABYSMAL STAY: in 6 years of using Airbnb we have had the fortune of staying in some beautiful let’s and met some fantastic hosts! This property is in need of maintenance! Dusty, covered in cobwebs and laden with spiders. The walls, carpets & sofas are all marked, chipped crockery and boarded up windows. Host excessively concerned with a damage waiver fee (we paid this) but based on experience suspect they try to get customers to pay for damages they have not caused. Property is accessed via lane. One end swamped with bird poo & cigarette butts and the other overgrown weeds. George hotel close with a busy, rowdy night life and neighbour above is heavy footed and in/out frequently at all hours. accused me of leaving my dogs in the property, in a neglected state for long periods of time stating they were howling and crying. My dogs are always with me so this was a lie. Neighbour made me feel very unwelcome. worst place I have ever had. Only a cheap let but not worth a penny paid.

The location was perfect as right near all the shops. Alleyway was covered in broken glass and bird droppings. But not something the hosts can help. The hosts were exceptional and answered all questions very quickly and professionally.

The bath took ages to drain and there were sachets of shower gel and shampoo just thrown in the corner of the bath. There was thick dust in the bedrooms and kitchen drawers along with the freezer were visibly dirty. Hosts need to have a conversation with their cleaner. There was also no welcome pack, just sachets of milk in the fridge, which we didn't use.

The interior was lovely,

There was no signage to find the apartment, so that made it a little tricky to find.
The alleyway was smelly and dirty.
There was a nail or something under the carpet in the lounge which wasn't ideal especially with young children.

We loved having an apartment instead of two separate rooms in a hotel, and it was much cheaper. Usually we stay at The George which Is located next door, but this time we just went to George for breakfast and it was perfect.

We stayed here in May and despite it being really warm and sunny outside, the apartment would not heat up, it was freezing cold! Would not stay here in the winter.
The shower was either boiling hot or ice cold.

Flat was in a fab location. On arrival noticed sink had food in and kitchen worktop needed a clean but overall flat was clean and tidy and had everything you needed. Slept well in a nice comfy bed. Parking nearby, £7 for 24hrs. Excellent communication with host throughout.

A few problems with check in, as it wasn't. lear which flat we were trying to get in to, or where the lockbox was. when contacting the company tomrry to sort we were forwarded to voicemail and he got a call back and hour later.
Inside the flat was fine, but it was next to a pub which was noisy until about 1.30 and then had people shouting in the alleyway outside after thatt.

The flat is situated down an alley behind a charity shop but the exact location instructions were not clear. But we eventually worked out were to go (a couple of photos of the route would have been helpful). Once inside we found it clean and tidy, but gasping for cup of tea we were disappointed to find 3 cups that hadn't been cleaned properly. There is a small kitchen with the basics to cook for yourself. The shower was ok but ran out of hot water after a couple of minutes, and the shower head we found was fixed too low to get right under it. The beds were comfortable and the wifi signal good.

It was clean and everything I needed was provided. Getting the keys out of the box was easy. The messaging from the hosts was very polite and informative.

I knew the area. If I had not it could have been hard to find and the passage to get to it was a bit narrow and dark.

The place itself was nice. The toilet was dirty and I cleaned it myself. It was ridiculous trying to find it though. You needed to go down an alleyway, try to find which door and key box it was. The directions were not clear. When we asked about parking since there is no parking at the air bnb the owner did not respond. Overall fine but they need to be more descriptive with the location and entry to the place.

We really enjoyed our stay here.
We was here for the Diesel gala on the Severn Valley Railway it was convenient for Bewdley and close to the spoons pub for breakfast and also restaurants in the evening, the only thing I would say is just a tiny criticism is the TV didn't have freeview channels only stream which I have logins for, but won't use them on someone else's tv.

The flat was pristine and well decorated. Clearly all new facilities etc. The parking was an issue at an extra cost that was not known about prior to booking. The location for local amenities is great, being close to shops, pubs and river. The flat does not have a great entrance, being in a dark ally, with no lighting. The outside stairs did not look or feel safe. The neighbours above, below and next door can be heard through the walls, TVs, talking,( full conversations) showers, toilets flushing and people walking around, with lots of creaking floor boards.
leading to us being kept awake as well as being woken early. The heating is not easy to use, instructions were found on the last night. We found the beds very hard and both woke aching. The flat was OK as a base, but would not want to stay any longer.
Extras needed. hooks, chopping board and a welcome brochure with heating instructions and information relating to the area.
