Spent a couple of days in Margate seeing the sights and walking around the town. House is well located and although there's no parking at the house the public car park on mill lane is extremely close.

Dale’s place is a good location to explore Margate and a good base to visit other coastal Kent towns. Easy walk to Broadstairs. Close to Dreamland, old town & the beach. Plenty of restaurants, cafes & bars nearby. Clean place with comfortable beds. Good central heating & hot water. Nice outdoor space. Kitchen had a few basics like tea bags & salt.

Gorgeous house! Fab location just 3 minute walk from parking and so close to the centre you can hear dreamland :) All of the beds were comfortable and plenty of space for hanging your clothes. The heating was on so it was lovely and warm in there. Lovely fluffy towels. Powerful shower! And a clean cosy garden. Some things to consider, the fridge had crumbs and stuff spilled in it from previous guests, so we didn’t use it. Some toothpaste on the wall and dried down the sink which is slightly off putting. And the TV is temperamental so if you are planning to chill for a couple of hours then maybe bring an ipad. We could only get YouTube to work properly. But overall and lovely place and we would definitely stay again when visiting Margate. Location is 10/10!

We spent a long weekend in this property. The place was easy to find, with clear instructions provided. The host was very responsive when we had a question. The house was very clean, warm and tidy. We didn’t spend much time there during the day but everything was in order and very comfortable.

A really lovely house in a fantastic location close to the Old Town, beach and Turner gallery. It worked really well as a family home for a holiday. The only downside was no travel cot, which we had mentioned in advance. As it’s obviously a good fit and marketed as a family place for think a travel cot would be a good investment, as it would have made a big difference to us who travelled by train and had to carry one from home. A little flexibility around leaving luggage after checking out would have been appreciated, though I understand it’s not always possible. But aside from this it was a lovely place and we would definitely return.

Great place to stay which is just outside the old town making it all easy and accesible. The space was clean and comfortable. Felt right at home even for a short stay! Dale communicated really well and gave us so much information for everything: things to do, places to eat and things to see!

We had a wonderful time exploring Margate thanks to this fantastically located property. The house itself is tastefully decorated and furnished, and the kitchen has everything you could need. A few bits and bobs weren't completely clean and there were a few parts of the home that didn't quite work (the outside space is very welcoming and the bathroom door lock was broken). Overall, 4 out of 5 stars

We enjoyed our stay in the house. It was warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped although it had a small fridge to cater for four people. The location suited us as it was close to the beach and shops. However, we were not told that outdoor live music from Dreamland would be played on Friday and Saturday nights from 17h30 to 22h30. It could be heard inside the house and was quite intrusive.

Read carefully the whole property description, you will be charge additional fees outside the platform. The travel cot for 6 months old son was missing no attempt to help us / provide us with one was made during the whole stay… it says it all

Great location. Sadly Dreamland was closed during our stay, but it’s a great location if you were visiting there. Very spacious for 5 of us, spacious living area. Fairly small kitchen but it was fine. Easy check in process and place was nice and clean.

Thank you for a lovely stay. Everything was as expected. the house was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was brilliant for different parts of Margate. We walked to Westbrook Bay each day. You can see Dreamland from the house which our children loved. We also visited the old town, Shell Grotto and the Caves. Parking is mentioned and this meant I researched beforehand. we unloaded outside then I moved my car to Tivoli Park Road which is free parking and it was fine for the duration of our stay. Plenty of space on there as well and less than a 15 min walk from the house.

We really loved this house! It was airy, spacious, clean and beautifully decorated and super comfy. We felt like home! It’s in a fantastic location: close to the beach, Dreamland, the high street, and also the Old Market place! There was a great smart TV and we had access to Netflix and all other channels! There were many books and games hidden inside the foot stall of the sofa set! However, there were a few small issues within the house that I’m sure can easily be rectified! he kitchen lacked a few basic items! There was no frying pan or colander! There were no spare bin liners, so had to buy! Also had to buy toilet rolls as there weren’t enough! Some of us experienced problems with the shower pressure! Sometimes it worked well and sometimes it didn’t - the water pressure was extremely low! The single bedroom could have done with a curtain as it was quite bright in the room in the morning Overall we recommand this place to anybody. we have great time. no regret

Thank you, we enjoyed our stay at Grosvenor Hill. Its a beautiful home, clean and looks exactly like the pictures. The bedrooms were spacious, clean, the beds were super comfortable and rooms lovely decorated. The living room was homely and welcoming with two lovely fireplaces, dining table to have meals and a TV with streaming channels. The kitchen was stocked with utensils, and they had beautiful sized mugs for a large cup of tea! I brought extra stuff like kitchen towlels, washing up liquid, cloths and they had it all already. It really was a home from home. We went for walks within the town and seafront about a 5 mins walk away, with lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Finally, checking in was simple as the instructions were straightforward. There isnt any parking available outside the house as you have to have a permit. Although we parked and unpacked the car and then parked for free a few streets away, no more than 10 minute walk. Five stars! Thanks Tony

This house is lovely. Immaculately clean and looks exactly like the photos. Location is great too, not far to walk to anywhere. Would stay here again. Only slight issue is one bedroom has no curtains, just a blind, which didn’t really block out light. This was difficult for us as our youngest child goes to bed early and the room was full of light. The other 2 bedrooms have curtains and blinds, and one of those is a twin, so we coped, but worth mentioning if you need all 4 beds and have little ones or are effected by light. I’ve fed back to the owner. Still an amazing place to stay. Highly recommend.

Lovely house in excellent location. Good communication from the host throughout. The only issue for us was parking which ended up costing quite a bit extra as we couldn’t find any free parking nearby. But overall a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here, lots of space for 5 of us, comfy sofas, well equipped kitchen, great location and very good value for money. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. The only thing to be aware of is that the the single beds are quite small which was fine for us but maybe not for someone taller/larger!

5 minutes walk from the beach, 5 minutes walk into old town, 5 minutes walk to Dreamland. The house is smart, comfortable and worked well for us, a family of 5 with two teen boys and a 5 year old (said her bed was very comfy and enjoyed the toys/books). Pretty courtyard was a bonus. The shower worked well (read someone had issues). We parked to drop off stuff then parked a 10 min walk away on side streets just past the Station. Dreamland is such a fab place but only a fraction of rides open in these pandemic times, still a nice place to hang out as great seating areas and free to get in and reasonable prices. Love the Turner Contemporary (The Antony Gormley Another Time sea statue a must visit), and in Old Town; Peters Fish (value for money and worth the queue) and the Light Keeper shop. The High street behind the house can be perilous in the evening, becoming full of cars and local characters, one of those streets that needs some love...but Margate is all about the rough and the smooth... so enjoy.

Grosvenor House was a super holiday home for our week in lovely Margate. 10 mins walk to the beautiful sandy beach, many amazing restaurants, galleries and independent shops. A clean comfortable home with fresh stylish decor. A bonus having an outside area with tables and chairs.

This house allows you to experience the best of Margate. Clean, centrally-located and with a perfect cocktail patio, you can get to the beach and some of the best restaurants with just a short walk. Nicely renovated, and a great big Sony TV with Netflix for nights in.

A great house, a great value in a perfect location for exploring Margate for a weekend getaway. House is nicely decorated and clean and is perfect for a family or set of couples (with or without kids) with ample space to hang out. Blue Fox was great at making sure check-in was seamless and responding to any queries very quickly.

What a nice place! Photos are accurate and the decoration and interiors are lovely. Check in was easy and really clean, Location is useful to explore the area from and close to the station. Really comfy and cosy! Shower was playing up a tiny bit when we were there but think that might have just been a one off issue, which we notified the hosts about. Lovely stay!

We had a great time in Margate. Could see dreamland from the front door (wish it was open). The house was super comfortable and clean and the garden is a real sun trap! Location was great for all the bars, restaurants and beach. Would love to come back again.

It’s great to be able to walk to the beach or stroll into the old town in a few minutes - or to drive across to Cliftonville or Broadstairs - from this house which was v good value for a first break after lockdown. Margate is fantastic but parking is tricky so next time we’d come by train!

We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at the property. The property is about a 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shops. The station (we don’t drive) is a 10 minute walk, which was also handy as we walked to Broadstairs one day and caught the train back. The property was very clean, the bedrooms large and spacious and has everything you need. Highly recommended and really good value for money!

This was such a great find! A few minutes walk to the beach, a fantastically clean space, and a perfect home away from home for a few days in Margate. The hosts have also been very helpful in returning my wallet and bank cards after I accidentally left them behind. Definitely recommend this place, very clean and lovely presentation. Location is near the sea front and in the town so you have everything. Parking bit of a pain due to no free spaces and very full around the small streets so be prepared to not get right outside. However the host was very detailed, gave us all the correct information and made our stay really nice! You would have a great time in this house

The accommodation was beautifully decorated and super clean. We had a wonderful stay at the house. The place takes some getting used to, but we had a car and were able to explore the beautiful surroundings. It's a bit tricky to find free parking there... We parked on Buckingham Road, which is only 5 minutes away. A few minutes' walk away. Would happily stay again.

Very clean and plenty of space for everyone, close to where we needed to be and easy to access. Shame no parking, a multi-storey nearby but we found a free spot for the weekend on the road up the hill a bit. Quiet at night. Didn't get to use the outside area as it was chilly but it was neat and a table covered, so would have been dry. Good kitchen (with tea bags and salt and pepper). Shower could of been better - needs resetting when using - but apart from that all great.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were a family of 5. Great location. Really close to Dreamland - you could see it from the house. Beautifully decorated home. Parking not on site but nearby. Amenities for young children such as a high chair, although we didn’t use them. No dishwasher but this was minor for us. Would highly recommend a stay here.
